usually , red mean bad and blue mean good or happy . I'm guessing that the others colors , mean overwhelming good or overwhelming negative . and stuff in between , too many colors indeed . Regardless , you really shouldn't split head over a bunch of colors . Your companions have like and dislike and numbers . That should tell you everything . Same with factions , you get (5) or (-2) or (0) with them as well . A (5) positive , (0) neutral you start with and (-2) they hate you . character can hate each others , and some can even hook up as in vromance . right now though , the dialogues for them are bugged like hell . So you will find some companion flirting with you way too fast , alot of them have some dialogue missing . They gonna fix them in the coming patch though . The character in middle is the one you are checking stuff for . The 1st page has your character in middle and everyone around , and on top the factions (when you meet more , you get more factions icons) . You can look at everyone , they all have round icon that if you hover over them tell you what they like and dislike . Like Éder hate leaden Key , so if you bring a save with Aloth being leaden key leader..they won't get along at all . Still with Éder as an exemple , he like animal and hate peoples being cruel to them . If you pick reply where you do bad toward animal while he is around , the icon will fill up . Same with your character main page . You have icon , each show emotions like : Stoic , clever , shady..etc . The dialogue you pick will fill them up . They play a role in say if I'm a priestess of eotha for exemple . Eotha will favor benevolent , kind actions . if I wanna stick with that then I choose reply that fit with that . Phew..hope that clear it up a bit for you

I would agree with you on that usually . Thats how Isabela was for me in DA2...when every dude in (save varric) was whining in each ear I had... she saved my sanity and made me laugh and is the reason why DA2 is my favorite of all . and I really love laughing , I mean Jan Jansen in BG2 , even Jaheira sarcasm make me laugh and I love her for it... But....Seraf...he really feel flat..and it doesnt help that his personal quest is about finding daddy that you can finish in 4 trip . While Serafen quests might be really short and simple, what really makes him stand out more (beside being a blue furry) is that he's the only one out of your entire companion list that treats the whole trip like a fun journey, not a serious quest with a grand objective in mind. Remaro was just there troubling his mind and after that, he doesn't really care anymore and just do what a friend would do, mess around with you. On the trip around a certain swamp, he's the only one who would continue complaining while everyone is already acting all soldier-like trying to reach the end goal. He's also the only one who constantly joke around that I'm going to get everyone killed while everyone acts all serious and try to come up with a proper answer. And there are so many situations where you can go "SERAFEN! HELP!" and he just go "OKAY!" like this one occasion where he really does nothing but is there anyway as a special thing. So he does more than enough to remind you that Deadfire is a game that is a lot more light-hearted and you can have fun all you want. treating everything as a joke and fun..and 'Don't be so uptight cap'tn ' ..is different from being just funny . I like to laugh , and I can take someone who is light hearted . But there are time when you better be seriouse and moppy cose the situation demande it . I hate when some character crack a joke to 'break the ice , the tense atmosphere' . I'm like 'THEN LEAVE! Dont crack lame joke just cose you can't handle it!' . If Seraf doesnt care after we done his quest...WHY IN THE WORLD HE WAS MAKING ME RUSH LIKE IT BE THE END OF THE WORLD FOR HIM IF I DIDNT DO IT! ARGH!

Maia is great, love her character...when she's not talking about Rauatai. I get that she's a soldier and loves her country and thinks it can do anything and all but come on... I can wipe your citadel off the map solo Maia! :D thats fine..just let me get her and go on vacation! I dont care for Rauatai honestly..and never gonna side with them :D

not gonna watch it...waiting for them to fix it . But yeah , she is bugged . Most of her dialogue are missing..same for Pallagina (and maybe even everyone) . Exemple : when pallagina insult the god and Xoti blow in her face..never had what actually Pallagina said . Just got Xoti dialogue .

That second part is entirely in your control. Just tell him to stop, and he will! #AlothBestCompanion it's bugged to hell for me..so couldn't even see how it end... I do like him and (elysm) , but I like to think there is more to him then chasing after Leaden key from POE1....

#UnpopularOpinion, but i think that Serafen is an awful companion. Awful stats, boring quest and he's the most clichéd character in any Obsidian game i've ever played (seriously, he's like the most stereotypical pirate archetype ever, except that he's a hairy smurf) hairy smurf is fine.. But his quest is boring .

if Aloth come back..let's hope he has more dialogues...and no more Leaden key nonsense...

horrible... But angst reason....I'm there ! I did find the dialogues as a priestess of eoath..a bit..of a let down .

Also..that can be said about alot of side quest , take that Blood sacrifice a companion quest . I didn't do it . And some peoples will do it and won't sacrifice anyone . Yet it's still there , and if you do sacrifice someone you get a Boost to stat..if you don't..you get nothing . Going with 'This amount of player do and don't' is a baaaaaaaad way of thinking . Every person is different , and if you gonna add it to the choice..either do it right or skip it completely . Don't do it half assed .
