I enjoyed it for a few levels but man it was so long. Was too long for me, sometimes I would do part of it then come back to finish it to break it up. it wasn't long enough....imagine Diablo 1 kinda of long...you be running away screaming lol. I just get tired of being kinda locked in a certain area for a long time but it was fine. It was what it was. I was glad it was in there for the people who really love that kind of thing. I did enjoy it. I think it was mean for you to do a few level , then come back again at some time to finish it . As in , do it at your own pace .

I agree. There is a small dialogue you can have with Tekehu after Hasongo where he asks why the hell would Eothas be interested in hearing your opinion, and I was like... I don't know man. Because the game plot dictates that? Or maybe he is just feeling bad for stepping on my castle? well..he didn't even say 'Whoops! Sorry..didn't see you there'' .. and as a watcher who deal with soul , if anyone should get a say it's you . Also..you can play as a priest of the gods . So that give you more reasons as well .

Yeah you've been able to use mods for a while. Just gotta make sure they're properly updated with the latest weidu I believe. Unless an update broke something? I moved over to EE as soon as mods were available for it and that was a few years ago. I was using my old copy..that I brough ages ago . I haven't tried mod with the enhanced version . well good to know..that be something to play again in the futur ! Thanx!

Eh. In my recent playthrough he called Jaheira "a wench" after her rather neutral comment about something, and "my lady" literally in the next banter. Bipolar much? Though if anything, it is worth keeping him in the party just to listen to Jan Jansen making fun of him :D I'll stop derailing this thread now. oh god..I remember that one . if you wanna talk about lazy , you may wanna take a closer look at BG2 avaible romance . How unfair and lazy it was when it came to numbers . Male get : Jaheira , Viconia and Aerie . And female get : Annoymen . No , it doesn't change the writing . Someone having the Tag 'Bi' or 'Gay' won'T become a lousy character just cose it has those Tag . It's always has been a lousy character . Changing he to she , won't change someone from being a nuisance at the end of the day . Think Irenicus goal will change if you learn he was banging a dude elf behind the queen back ? Why is that lazy? I don't believe that Jaheira would date a non Human/Elf/Half-elf. Just because you chose a character who's a Dwarf doesn't mean she should instantly want to bang you. So now you going wacist on dwarf ?! They are super duper cute! YOUR LOSS! THAT HAIR CHEST!!!!!!!!!!

That is not good to hear. That's a shame actually. That's my main point of criticism of quest design in Pillars 1. It's discouraging to hear, that is still a problem in Pillars 2. As I said in my thread I do not mind having limited options to solve a moral dilemma. If it is an actual moral dilemma. My problem is when the options are only limited to artificially create a moral dilemma in the first place. And when obvious logical choices to react to a situation are simply not there. as I said before...I don't get to have a mental meltdown.....It's depressing to be professional and sane all the time when you report what you did in a quest

thanx! I try that and I did do those..but didn't work somehow . Anyway , there a couples of quest like that actually . Make me wonder why you can't do much more when you have the option .

as I understand , the wheel it self isn't the afterlife.. it's the mean for the after life . Think of it , as when someone die..he has to take a boat to go the after life shore . From there , that soul will be re-used for a new life . well destroying the wheel..mean no more boat , no more new life re-used . Kinda remind me of Jade empire . At least there we could see the consequences . But different time line I guess.. So eventually , if no soul can be recycled as to speak...you can guess what happen . everyone die..the gods starve..empty planet..yada yada..

It only gets mentioned a couple of times, but apparently you can't stray too far away from Eothas because you start feeling worse. Your crew had to chase him while you were chatting with Berath in the prologue just to keep ypu alive. Also, when Eothas gives you back a piece of your soul at Hasongo, it is stated that you get some memories back with it. So yeah... I guess you do have memory loss but it's conveyed poorly in the game. Yeah you're technically a soul twin with Eothas after that but I guess they got so many complaints about how they handled the Watcher gradually going insane in Pillars 1 that they decided to not even try to depict any negative repercussions to that. With the way the physics of souls were set up in Pillars 1, the Watcher should experience a wide range of negative symptoms that intensify the further they get from Eothas, from severe depression to constant pain. really? why? If you get sick..you should feel it . Not just have a -2 to Dex . That's what games are about .

and Beta tester , unless they keep testing for a year or 2....can't really catch everything everything . When Xcom came out I remember , I was waiting hanging on Steam . Alot of peoples , with better pc then mine couldn't even make it launch . there are countless issue sure , but there are also countless computer and not everyone running the same setting and hardware . I mean , beta can catch some . But not everything . I had one playtrough and the game only crashed 3 times on me..and I'm pretty sure it was cose of my own pc going funky . And the bugs were mostly quest and dialogue and nothing that would stop me from playing.

I say No.. I mean whole game , sheesh..imagine if one of them decide to spoil the whole thing . if they can use part of the game like @Taurus said , just combat without context or anything..maybe .

no . You can do that one in any way you want . it only effect the factions . Hasongo is the place that will advance the main story . All the islands around , the small ones have encounter and such . Some of them are necessary for some side quest . My advice is go to the big city , and take quest from there . Then go to the pirate (You should have that one already) , talk to npc everywhere you go and you get plenty of side quest and that will help narrow down which island has what on it .

The area isn't buggy, Mad Morena's gang will attack you if you haven't got a reason to be there, you need to get quest from either Aldys, Dereo or Enoi (a Roparu in the Gullet) so they don't attack you. Ah... Thats why I never got attacked . I always do the pirate first , so I got that quest when I went down there .

she usually walk around the village for me . She stop on the pier where there are 2 soldier and she talk to them . Then walk down and go to the other side and back . Got a screenie here if anyone don't know what she look like .

That made me laugh! you forgot : - Surrender her with all kind of grown up : Pirate companion ( To tell her about how not to be a slave and to run away first chance she get) , Paladin that give her a job to clean weapons ..etc . Although , let's be honest . She could've end up worse . She could be fighting along side the watcher....it be Gohan all over again
