  1. Ambition is one thing, but actually delivering an actual product is completely different thing. They've been sitting on the rights for many years now. According to some people as long as 5 years and they've got pretty much nothing to show. Robert Jordan himself disliked REE guys which has me somewhat worried.
  2. 1. Some of them reply from time to time. But most of them are busy working on F:NV, Wheel of Time and the unannounced project. 2. I don't think they are at liberty to tell. It's up to the publisher to release such information.
  3. As an RPG yes it is. ME2 had pretty much no roleplaying left in the game. But as games in general they are pretty equal.
  4. Finnish magazine Pelit gave AP 80/100 which is okay considering the same guy "only" gave RDR 86/100. Positive: -Choices actually matter -Different setting from your regular rpg -Char customization Negative: -Too much hurrying -Ugly and technically clumsy -Minigames are too hard in the end game.
  5. Because anything that is even remotely challenging makes them frustrated and frustration leads to crying... Hacking was my favourite minigame, sure the blocks could have moved faster but other than that it was way better than any other hacking minigame i've seen in the rpgs lately.
  6. I totally agree. Played my first playthrough with stealth, pistol and martial arts guy and I sure as **** had fun playing this. I might have woken up my neighbours couple of times after some of the bosses killed me (wasn't using Chain shot at first...) or when hacking/lockpicking failed and my neat stealth run turned into a bloodbath. Fell in love with the dialogue and c&c system in the game and now I'm "forced" to finish the game at least few times more before I can go back to Red Dead Redemption
  7. Yes it worked in ME, but in AP there's no way you could have done that without adding ****loads of more dialogue since people actually react to you based on who you are and what you have done so far in the game. If you add a female char people will naturally react differently to her. And not to mention you would have to rewrite loads of lines for Michelle Thorton to make her look even remotely like a real woman operative. Or do you think a female Thorton could pull of some of those suave and aggressive lines?
  8. Hard to say yet, still have to get to know some of the chars better. But from my 1st playthrough I'd say I enjoyed Mina, Sie and Heck the most. The conversations with Harburg were nice as well. The only guys I didn't really like were Yancy and Darcy.
  9. I had the same bug on 360 in one of the mission in saudi arabia.
  10. You know your PC will love you for hooking it up to that TV. Plus the PC can actually run games in 1080. It is hooked up, but I would have to get myself a wireless mouse and keyboard and move a table in front of the tv etc.
  11. Most def! I enjoyed the game even though it had some obvious flaws in it. If they are allowed to make a sequel I'm sure most of those flaws will be crushed. Especially since they will be at least somewhat familiar with the damn engine this time around. Hopefully the game sells good enough for Sega to go forward with the sequel with Obsidian at helm. Won't be even remotely intrested if some other company gets the IP.
  12. Neither game is perfect, but as CRPGs both are quite good and they share some of the flaws. AP has more c&c, better plot and writing which is why I like it more than Deus Ex.
  13. Took me about 15-20 hours to finish my first playthrough. Tried to roleplay a stealthy spy that won't kill innocents and would try to avoid getting noticed. So reloaded quite a bit in some missions. At least for me that's enough playtime, considering that I will play it again as recruit and as a veteran so I get to see how things will go if I choose more wisely in some cases
  14. Bought the 360 version. No need for Steam etc. + 40" tv I use with my 360 persuaded me.
  15. That's actually pretty good marketing idea
  16. I still hope it's not Final Fantasy. Never played that series, so some sequel number 32 would just make me all confused :/
  17. If they bring back the woman who did VO for Moira (or whatever that annoying woman in Megaton was called) I might just go deaf and after that I'm not responsible for anything I might do!
  18. Why not just order it from some webstore for far less money.
  19. The problem is that most fans had their preorders still waiting from the last year. The impact from the marketing campaign has been somewhat low. Previously the preorders would rise by about 500-750 in two weeks. Now it rises 1000-3000 in two weeks. But then again that's just American preorders and doesn't show PC nor European charts.
  20. http://news.vgchartz.com/news.php?id=80059 With few more week to go the 360 version of AP is at 54k preorders and PS3 34.5k. Fallout: New Vegas seems to be selling good as well with total of 57k preorders (not including PC)
  21. I don't see Obsidian logo there...
  22. That sounds sweet, might have to get that Josh/MCA can you guys give any info how many pages that graphic novel has or what the runtime on the dvd is?
  23. No Pandorum neither?
  24. Yes, because obviously you all can understand finnish perfectly? No. But there are people who can who I trust a lot more than you, sonny. Yes, obviously i'm just making stuff up. http://www.iltasanomat.fi/uutiset/kotimaa/....asp?id=2126938 Sadly it's impossible to find the newspaper articles from 1994.
