  1. "It's poor writing. the 'prosessional' stance is supposed to lead Thornton into acting like a 'profesisonal'. Last i checked 'professional' doesn't mean lightly joking - even it's sarcastic - about someone's profession. Some of the worst writing ever." Actually even professionnals do joke like that. You sound like the Comic Book Guy from Simpsons "Worst writing ever". ROFLAMNO R000FLES. Someone sure needs to update that Volourn posting .jpg from Codex to make it fit the world with AP. You are like a broken record that just keeps repeating and repeating and repeating... Also why don't you give us examples of those superior c&c from other games instead of just repeating the same **** all over again. Oh yea, you don't have to because you are a "fact" spewing troll
  2. I wonder how many people Hawke will accidentally hurt with that armor of his during the game.
  3. Volo mad, Volo BASH! Take a deep breath and fix those typos :D
  4. His pants don't really match with the Vader outfit
  5. Correctamundo. Also, seriously the replies will be: Good, Nasty or Badass? Seriously wtf?!
  6. ****, me. That IGN Combat Preview is baaaaaaaad.
  7. MOAR FIGHTING IN TUNNELS. This is the bit Bio are good at, not soppy romances or silly fan-fic style back stories. DA:3 TACTICS: MOAR TUNNEL COMBAT is the title we are all waiting for. But will it include Leliana singing with a vuvuzela concerto playing the background music?!
  8. Save some time and copy paste the previous Volo vs. the world discussion :D
  9. Man, those dungeons are going to be endless! Hopefully it doesn't mean that... Longer dungeons are definitely not something needed. Can't wait to clear endless caverns of same old mobs over and over again! But at least the game is longer
  10. Both Mass Effects once and Alpha Protocol twice, going to start a 3rd playthrough soonish.
  11. Finally you are admitting you are wrong. Good for you, though I wouldn't rate it higher than PS:T, FO or MOTB.
  12. "I read first thirty pages of LOTR and decided the whole book series suck. I also watched the trailers and read some fansite for spoilers, damn those characters and story are baaaaaaad." Faulty logic is faulty. There's huge difference when it comes to representation/interactivity within games, books and/or movies if you compare that to small or long spoilers found on some forums/fansites. In case you still don't understand I'll try to explain. It is somewhat different to read a bunch of spoilers from a website than to actually playthrough the damn story and interact with the characters within the game. Other is written by someone living at his parent's basement, done in haste and most likely has grammar errors, missing info etc. The other is written by someone who actually gets paid to do that and is presented with good voice acting that actually will bring those characters and story "alive" instead of just reading some wall of text etc. etc.
  13. Volourn the master critic who didn't even play half of the game.
  14. "I'm not a troll, but I answer like a troll, look like a troll, sound like a troll and even smell like troll. R00fles!"
  15. Maybe at Comic-Con which is this week. At least most game companies ain't announcing their games 3 years early thesedays.... Nothing like announcing a game and then not showing anything for 2 or 3 years.
  16. Was expecting that, thanks :D
  17. Don't know about others, but I encountered more bugs in ME2 than in two playthroughs of AP.
  18. Probably not. But good (or even average) scores on some games are due to "bribery". Internet sites that get add revenue from certain games/companies won't review those games as strictly as they would otherwise, since they would lose money. Same goes for magazines. Piss off one of the major publishers bad enough and your magazine will have to make due without exclusives and/or any advertising from the company. Didn't someone from Gamespot even get fired for being "too harsh" on Kane & Lynch (or something like that) and Gamespot released a "better" review later on... Not to mention all those world first exclusives, they ain't free either. One of the finnish magazines I read have written articles about it quite often. Publishers will offer them an exclusive in Finland and then demand for example 10 pages for the preview and the cover of the magazine etc. And if you do take that exclusive some companies will make sure you have lots and lots of fun while going to see the preview for the game. Small (or big) things like that will have some effect on the reviewer. Not to mention gain the game some marketing buzz. Not to mention a review score starting with 6 or 7 (or 3 stars out of 5) usually means it won't sell and/or that the game is bad in one way or another. Compare that to movies where 3 stars is totally acceptable. People will still go watch the movie and buy it...
  19. They've been sitting on those license rights for some time now. Rober Jordan (R.I.P) was quite pissed off at the Red Eagle people since they weren't doing anything with the license. Maybe part of their master plan to create funding was to announce that Obsidian would be working on the game...
  20. I don't like the art style that we've seen so far. Too much spikes on everything so far. Naturally a different part of Thedas needs a different art direction when it comes to environment, cities etc. But all those spiky bits just look stupid.
  21. I don't think I've personally raged about any of those
  22. You will be sleeping with the fishes before the day is over....
  23. Well I guess fans might recognize him, but is he actually a good voice actor?
  24. OMG no bobbleheads?! Teh game is ruined! Oh and on a more serious note, I'm so glad official forums are on Bethesda's site
  25. And Ostagar.
