Weird Enclave Glitch (SPOILER WARNING)
Watchman replied to Things Muffin's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Well... It is what you deserve for killing those Jedi Masters!! lol, jk. Been there done that myself. Do you have any mods for the game? Possibly one that is not there now or was added while playing your dark side char? This is a late post but you never said it was put right. -
I had no idea what that was when I was playing. But I am happy with the Sith language thing. It is something you would expect from a Dark Lord. As for the Toilet thing... wait... let me go listen to mine flush again... *flushes tiolet* *flushes it again* *loads game and listens to him speak* Yup, there is a striking resemblence!
-
Eather way the Jedi and the Republic go from bad to worse in this game. The bright side is it makes KOTOR 3 easier to make.
-
Go to a past save game. Even if you use the mod to add her again you can have trouble. I would just go back to a past save.
-
Well CSI that answers the question. But that has to be a mod! Stuff like that could very well have given the game a different rating than TEEN.
-
You are not alone. We have all been there. He is clearly out matched. Running behind the bar or one of the tables is the most used tactic. The other I have come across is mine the cantina floor b4 the fight so that they have to run thru mines as they chase you.
-
You also get the force sight view when you go to first person view with Kriea and Visas. (Tab) on the PC version will put you in first person view, just do this with Visas or Kriea active. I found a use for it. It is cheating but fun. There is a Force power mod that has a force power that creates a copy of you that will fight along side you. This power always creates the copy in front of you. I would got to a door and use force sight to see thru it. If there were enemy I would stand infront of the door and it would create the copy on the other side! My clone would then start the fight! I could watch it all with force sight. It is not a thing you want to do all the time but it is fun. It tells you how well the game's AI would do with your char. I know this is no big selling point but I think we all know by now that this power is next to useless. I think it would have been realy good if it alowed you to see the cloaked assasins. But the game only puts the assassins in the game when you get close enough for them to attack. Only your steath field genorator will give you a chance to find this out. But at that point while the power will show you the assassins the power is a little late to be of use. Another thing on this power is that you are told at the start of the game that you can sense the power coming off of droids with the force. But they are next to invisable to force sight. This power was doomed from its ceation for lack of a good use.

M4-78 Restoration Project: WIP!!
Watchman replied to Pavlos's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I large reason for failure is all the added time between the start and the finnish. It opens the door for something to go wrong. TSLRP is getting lots of fan fare for sticking with it. It deserves it, all the added time is rough. If they drag it out for too much longer then it will get the same problems that are draging this one down. Having some one stand over your sholder telling you to hurry is a dreaded thing in most ppls eyes. But it happends to be a must have to survive. Not everyting needs it but those that don't most often fail. You will notice in the TSLRP thread that the ppl have been doing this very thing. The project feels it. Their line of "It will be finished when it is done" is by no means helping anyone and is an effort to fight it. The loader they say this line, the more they feel it. Like it or not the presure to reach the goal is important and it looks like this one is laking it. That some ppl use this as an excuse to fall short of the goal is a personal matter they need to sort out. You guys need one person to say "I will get this done" then he needs to organize and push the others. The ppl that say "I will not take the all this pushing" are not bad ppl. But they will not be the reason for it having gotten done eather. It is the purpose that drives, it is the purpose crying out loader than any destrations that alows you to reach your goal. This is a deep message, but I want you to make it as a pjt too. If there is still a porpose to complete this pjt then I hope this will give you guys a good reason to relight the flame of your purpose and bring it back to life. Good luck -
I know what you mean. Visas is mest up! And hand maiden is a bore. I was supprised that there was nothing with Mira. That would have been fun! Well there was a few lines about how to get a guy I checked those with my girlfriend and she says they have workability. :'( ouch to the man that gets picked.

That is a sexy looking car. When I first herd the term Green Vehical I was floored. These hybrids get promoted as envornment friendly! WHAT!?!? That they us a little less gas than most is not a reason to say that they are friendly to mother earth! I would love to see a car that is truely firendly by not belching out nasty fumes. I have fath that is can be done.

My vote goes to General Grievious. He could swing lightsabers around but had to swing them around like crazy to make up for his inablilty to us them (IMO). Many of the Jedi had their down spots at times, and in no small part to the way it was presented. Atris I saw as a Light sided Jedi that somehow would not fall all the way to the dark and fight whole heartedly. Luke was no jedi when he started but set the stage for what we all know and love. Later movies would do a beter job of putting the jedi in the middle of some great action. Nihilus was under developed as a char but I never saw him as a wimp. Count Douku was cool, he got put down by someone. He was Palpatine's right hand man for some time and did a good job. The galaxy paided for it. Darth Maul I veiwed as a realy good guardian-like sith that loved the battles but was good for little elss. In the end I think he died because he wanted to drag the fight out even when it was a bad idea. I was supprised to see that Malak got a vote. He got put down for his use of droids and the 7 Jedi. I think thats funny. I don't know how you played the game, but by the time I got to him I KNEW why he was running! I was so geared up to get him that nothing was going to stop me. From his stand point, a VERY powerful ex-master was ripping his way thru all his deffences. lol, I always choose "You knew you could never stand against me." after the fight. Then Revan, well... again if you played him weak... then I guess... Mace Windu was cool. Sion was cool too. I mean his only weakness was that he lacked a purpose he felt he should realy put himself to. He had no other strong weakness. NONE! I found most of the Jedi had a moment when thay were shown in a bad light. The one thing I am very relieved of is that Vader was left off the list. If I saw him on there I would track you down and give you a black eye! :D PS - Kriea was not on there. I would not say she was weak, I would say that she is just a beat up old lady that needs to have a happy hour with family.

lol, this has become quite a slame on MMORPGs. Sadly, I tried SWGs and had a bad time of it too. I kept telling myself that I can't judge the game too soon (meaning I quickly started disliking it). I wanted to be a saberweilding jedi. Then found out that I would not get a lightsaber for some time. I then ended up on a quest that said to talk to someone but when I tried that guy said "I have nothing for you, come back later." But still I told myself not to be hasty. I started asking for help on the quest in public areas with lots of chars running around. I asked again and again for 2 hours, I didn't even get a "get lost noob". And still like a trooper I played on. Next I found that I could go to different worlds! I quickly got off of the over used planet of Tatooine and went from planet to planet in search of... something interesting. They all looked the same! Big worlds with on clear porpose and buildings OMG! - but just about no one around. I would continue my sad story but if you made it this far I feel you should suffer no longer. That is my two cents.

ONDERON CANTINA PROBLEM..
Watchman replied to SESSHOMARU2480's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Wow, this is a long thread, I think the first few posts answered the question. And the rest should have been taken out back where the rest of us don't have to watch. But, now I have a question for the originator of this thread: Did you get your question answered? -

KotoR 3: Ideas, Suggestions, Discussion
Watchman replied to CoM_Solaufein's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Lol, blowing up planets! Sounds mischievous. Its true, if you are suppost to be responsible for the death of a planet, well, be the one respossible for the death of a planet. Lets give you a planet to blow up so you can proudly say "Yes, I am the one that blew that planet to smithereens." -- There was some of you talking about lightsabers haking off body parts. I say yes but in the SW style of no blood and black where the guts should be. The reason? I get tired of seeing my high lvl saber weilding char throwing his lightsaber around like some wooden stick. I mean the lightsaber is cool not just because it glows. It is a symbol of a weapon that has REAL destructive power over and above a wooden pole. Lets see that difference! Lets give ppl a reason to say "Oh @^$#, he got a lightsaber!" -- There was another comment on starting K3 in an academy. I say yes. When we first pickup the raines of a jedi we are clueless about how to make him weild the force. I see no reason our char would not be in the same conundrum. About the same time our char starts to look like he is a jedi, you can be too. -- Yet another comment was made about having Revan and the Exile in K3. HOLD IT! I am sure you all have your Revans and Exiles worked out. I am sure he (or she) rocks. but we don't all play the game the same way. K2 had a very tough act to follow. With two outcomes the galaxy could be in eather of two very different situations. Some of you like to say Obsidian did a bad job with K2. But the real trouble started at the end of K1. Now by the end of K2 we have an even worse situataion. How many of you would like to find out that Revan went to the light or dark side after you set set him or her free at the end of K1? Or that he (or she) didn't hold up to the ideas *cough, cough* you set for him (or her) and went gray? If these char are used you will always be a heartbeat away from trouble. So watch what you ask for. I above all elss don't cut them down by having them forget how they did all that stuff and are now lvl 5 Jedi!! -- :D Marry Christmas everyone! :joy: Its a time for joy! (w00t) laughter family and lots of smiles :D :D . Look even this guy has a smile -> -
lol, don't forget that you can add Atton and Kriea as soon as the fight starts.

Favorite Sith from Kotor
Watchman replied to Master Douglass's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Revan, he is the guy that every one feared and then vanished. Only to appear again and flaten the Sith that betrayed him. thats a winner  The rest can be cool too but the story was just too short and not enough was said to give anyone elss much to work with. Sion was cool but realy stupid. Nihulis has what it takes but again all you know it he is bad, unable to pronounce words, afraid to directly face the whole world and that the Raveger makes him powerful. - No offence intended CSI, its just that to me the story is lacking his evil deads so that he is just a bad guy to be squashed in a tough fight and little more. Traya is just a defeated old woman. She trained the best only to have them fall and become the worst problem the galaxy has seen. Then she became evil only to fail at that. Now she is just crazy, irresponsible and out to help everyone by taking away any their connection to the force to "save us all". Bandon was cool but like the others he just does a few miss deads and then you kill him. Malak was next in line. He was a crazy man out to crush the Republic - nice - You realy look forward to your fight with him in K1. Then again this is just my oppinion. -
One look at that tells me the the second post came from some one that is disconnected from reality. There is no "droped loot", the second relay makes no sense. It is outrages only because it not what was important. The guy is eather realy sick or has yet to find out that a guy has just died for real.

OMFG!!! Lucas Arts FINNALY says thay will make KOTOR 3!!!! (w00t) At last!! (w00t) :joy: (w00t) :joy: Now if we could just get a when! Anyway, you can check it out at BusinessWeek here P.S. Pardon my French -
HK - 47 gets my vote, he is a machine that loves what he does and to hell with the rest. He can spit out a statment that to the rest of the world is just... wrong but mean what he said. This all gives him personality that sets him apart. Few others have gone there. As for this tread, it seems to have taken a side track. First, what does OT stand for? And the last time I checked the creaters of video games needed to work on their story telling ablilities. Compairing video game stories to the movies is a little off balanced right now. Pixel for pixel the fine tuning of the movies and what you see is like a laser point to the dull presentation of games. This hinders any story. So you find they use clear ideas to get the message thru. They stick to what is clear as they can get, because if it gets complicated they will lose you in the dull presentation.

Exile: "Are you that desprate?" and "I think that you must have gotten a blaster to the head while I was not looking"

I think you are right, there are not enough. Yes I know you guys just listed all that you can get but I think that is not enough. I also think you go for too long without your own lightsaber from the start as proof.

The Star Forge vs Malachor V
Watchman replied to Diego Varen's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Star Forge!! Fighting at the edge of your seat, getting updates from Malik and the guys outside telling you that you will lose if you don't hurry is the boom!! Vs Malachor - walking thru an area that is more confused what is going on an you are is something! They don't need you to put them down, they need to find out that they have pointless lives and need to do something about it. -
Help Stuck on Telos in Academy
Watchman replied to westlake66's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Dude, you have a done something to your game, all that is required is that you: a. Talk to Atris b. Talk to Kriea c. Talk to T3-M4 d. Leave the area on the Ebon hawk. Thats it. You however sound like you have messed with that and need to uncheat/mod your game until it works again. P.S. Nero - That is you hell of a morbid avitar. His eye even flies out!
