  1. Relax, you just need to defeat Malak. The rest are just detractions. Clam yourself, breath in, breath out, be one with the force. Defeat Malak and you win.
  2. k, here is my vote! 1. 45 <-- hehe it's mine I would not have submitted it if I didn't like it. 2. 37 3. 15 <-- I can't believe a SW related site operates without this 4. 1 5. 43 6. 23 7. 50 8. 29 9. 47
  3. Haha! We have a darkside lover in the house! You will find the there is always a destruction in any creation. Darkside powers are lightside powers. And lightside powers are darkside too. Don't forget that you have to create lightning to use it. The difference is what you use them for. Lightside tries to leave something better that what it found. Darkside leaves less of anything it comes across. Mass destruction on the part of the Jedi is not unheard of. It is just that when they did it, they were destroying something they thought would leave the universe better than they found it, like stopping a dictator and his armies. The most powerful side there is, is the gray side. Because can be the master of both worlds.
  4. That was mentioned before, apparently Wookiees can't be Jedi or Sith. Thats why Hannar in TSL isn't a potential Jedi. What is this? Racism in the SW universe? Why can't Wookiees be Jedi? Sounds more like people with fixed ideas just don't want Wookiees to be Jedi.
  5. Hay thats cool, I didn't know you could get you saber back from Atris. And 79 eh? I was starting to wounder if LA was waiting for this project before they started a new one. They did after all stop KOTOR 3 and have yet to say they have started it again. If this is a LA bashing, you have my apologies, it was not intended as such. After all, it would be smart not to let these games fight for your attention.
  6. There really is not much that can be said about why Yoda left. He could have stayed and faced down Palpatine. But the total failure was made up of many smaller ones. If I was Yoda, I would not stay in a forgotten jungle. I would seek to put together a new Jedi order. Not wait for one person to show up and put all my faith there, even of it would be well placed. The near extinction of the Jedi was in part due to the Jedi simply giving up. Luke came back with the purpose of the Jedi and is the only reason they are still alive. Not Yoda, Not Obi-Wan. If Luke had not wanted to continue the Jedi, Laya may have died in her cell, and that very well could have been it. Such was how much the Jedi did to continue their order.
  7. Lol, I didn't say I never went evil or good. I have gotten all 6 force masteries and finished the games with them. But I am simply not dark enough to want to make evil choices all the time, nor so kind at heart that I sympathize with every person that comes along with a sad tale. Both in my opinion are really quite pathetic.
  8. Yes I would stop there. I feel it is a mistake to continue. All future movies, I would shunt to other points in the time line.
  9. Gray, I can't stand the goody goody stuff and I am just not evil enough for the darkside. So lightsided gray or just gray.
  10. You can go either way, Dual Wield/Toughness, you will not see the benefits of either at the start if the game. Just get them in place when you can. I recommend Dual Wield first just so you can get going early in the game with two weapons. If your char is not tough enough you can still wield dual blasters for a ranged attack.
  11. You will get a cut when it is time to return to the . Don't sweat it. You have to do a bit but you don't have to do everything on Narr Shaddaa.
  12. I am a gray Jedi too. I do the light thing, get the Prestige Class and I am back to neutral. I also use both Light and dark side powers. Mostly because neutral can. I do this allot for both KOTOR 1 and 2. I do this because... that is just the way I like to play it.
  13. 1. Ya, I know, I have to use cheats like guides to help with some of them. In terms of who to make a Jedi. I like Mara and Atton. I don't care about the others. But I think Atton is the hardest to convert. The others just don't shine as Jedi that much to me. 2. HK-47 is the best char in the game for conversations. You ever ask him about love? Or what his previous master's traveling companions are like? As for fighting, HK is is not good unless you set him up to be good. He does more blaster damage than anyone else. And Bio-Dar, is great! That is, if you are not skill heavy. Don't give him a weapon. Let him fight with his hands. He will not do allot of damage but he will do just about anything you could need with skills. I just let the me/others take care of the heavy damage. I almost always have him with me. 3. Not sure, go light on the mods, keep your hands off the keyboard and mouse and cross your fingers. 4. Dido, I have never used him. From the very first game I have sooo wanted to tell him to go do something outside and then leave him. Oh well, I can dream. 5. Dump her, it never goes anywhere. Handmaiden is a good melee if you are not. She can soak up the damage by running in. And who can forget her extra skill? 6.Depends on your char. The other guys should be what you are not. Bio-Dar/T3 for skills, Handmaiden/Hanhar melee damage soakup and Kriea for force powers/Healing. The others I use based on preference. Atton is handy for what ever, Mara/Visas make a fine lightsaber fighters, HK/Mara make good ranged attackers. And last and least, G0-T0/Decipale makes a good druid/person to take your anger out on.
  14. I think the biggest let down was in trying to make someone that was cute and cuddly so you would feel for him, when they needed some one that could fill the shoes of Vader. There is a this hidden thing in the OT. It is this simplicity to the whole force thing. It is so simple that it looks like you can do it. But now there are midiclorains (however you spell that) and Anakin is a turnip, not Vader. They lost sight of things that people are not always aware of. They I am sure in one reason people liked it, it had a message that was not common. But they lost that and filled it in with what is common. To LadyCrimson: An eyeball? I liked those cats pictures you used to have. Got any more?
  15. ... Do you realise that if the Exile didn't stop Nihilus then he would have consumed all life in the galaxy? ... Yes, I do. But I always found the "consume all life" thing a bit corny. So I have never taken it seriously.
  16. Ya, try as I may, I don' t have editing this stuff down, I put my a latest try in the last post. No good.
  17. On number #4, understood, not a problem. And on number #1, I don't know how to handle animated .gifs. Give me a moment and I think I can handle it.
  18. I like Goth's the best. But here are some of my own: 1. Banned 2. Biggrin 3. I told you so... 4. WTF? These smiles are great.
  19. that single thought just made me want a k3 based on canon revan and exile because jolee was awesome, and he would look awesome with real robes!!!!!!! I liked him too. I just about always had him with me in my party.
  20. After playing KOTOR, I wanted more powers, I wanted more enemies, more skills and so on. KOTOR 2 gave me that.
  21. I agree with you. In KOTOR 1 your purpose is to save the galaxy from a real Sith threat. In KOTOR 2 your purpose is to find and stop a few misbehaving Sith and Jedi Masters. Along the way you get to do some good or bad. Don't get me wrong, I like KOTOR 2. But there is no urgency to drive you to get this under control. I think it may take a moment for some to see the difference in what itself was important in these games. 1 truly had a large galxay wide game feel. 2 was more like a after the fact bounty hunt on a few people that got away.
  22. Nihilus had some very interesting things to say. Lols, that was some truly bad news and I think he took it well.
  23. Lol! Lol again. OMG! I can't believe I mist that poster! That is sooo coooolll! Anyway, on topic, just listening to what the Jedi Masters where saying told me that they are a bunch of retards and are just about the sole reason for everything that went to hell. I got a working idea when looking over this. And that is that after the war with Exar Kun they had this really big mess up that had cost the galaxy big time. So they got a sort of dazed reaction, you could also call it guilt. Making mistake after mistake they quickly proved they were unfit to do their jobs, than they let the Mandelorians reek havoc. So Revan left them, then, told that he was evil and also tempted by the darkside with all the fighting, he became so. There really is no way of getting around the fact that the counsel was just being stupid. They kind of accuse the Exile of their own crimes. I think something that would make sense is they stopped being intelligent after the war with Kun, thus it was inevitable that their own would turn against them, not being so gullible as to be prevented from doing their jobs by their own masters and leaving the Jedi without leadership to be torn apart from within or without, thus the civil war. The Enclave is just another error on the part of the counsel. I don't think that they could have been hit like that if they were acting intelligently. But not being so, they sat there and got flattened. So on one side you have the Sith, with some more or less intelligent management and knowledge that the Jedi Counsel was just going to sit there with a big bull eye painted top of their Enclave and the Jedi, with their poor leadership telling them they are all sinners and that if they should do nothing, (a point that they repeat often) everything will have to sort itself out, as the Jedi are sinners and mess up everything they touch. I always thought that attitude made more Sith then Revan ever could. Keria's fancy story in KOTOR2 tried to tell me otherwise. But her statement told me that she must have been one of them and was just as blind as the others.
  24. One of my fav was to boost the time of powers like Speed, Aura and so on from 20 secs to 45 secs so that I didn't have to cast them so much. (this change required more than just a stat boost, I had to modify and recompile the force powers files). You will find that there are many small changes you can make, I always play through normally to the games end -or twice in the case of different light and dark endings- before making any changes, that will do nothing to the story and include some more challenging changes that will help keep a balance. If you are at odds with what you can do to make things harder you can just add a hardcore mod. So you will find that you have a good number of options that are fine. Just don't over do them and make the least number of changes needed. Nearly all combat variables -and skills- are safe.
