  1. While I don't like SJW either, you sound like a complete a**hole here. That doesn't mean she's wrong. Well, I think it's a hyperbolic exaggeration, so yes, I think this person is wrong. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWdd6_ZxX8c

  3. Maia looks like she can smack anyone around. Therefor Maia trumps everyone. Maia is definitely the best waifu choice.
  4. Damn it, now i can't thinking about that picture of the sad looking crab and those scissors.
  5. Even more creepy looking than the portrait. I wonder if i'll be able to kill her to steal her glasses. Murder hobos unite!
  6. The only alpha strikes i use are the ones in BATTLETECH! But seriously, i prefer long drawn out battles, than ones you end before they even start by having your entire party vomit massive burst damage at the enemy.
  7. I better be able to respond with: "Doesn't ring a bell, now get off my doorstep" That's probably when she answer "If you keep this up, I will peck your eyes out, di verus". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QMcVu0jqgY

  9. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cE1FrqheQNI I do love how far this thread has been derailed.
  10. Eh, i've never been a huge fan of animal shapeshifters myself. When it comes to shapeshifters, just give me something like a Chaos Marauder instead of some hippy druid that turns into a teddy bear.
  11. Myieesss, that was a good decision. You should be able to do just that in the Deadfire beginning. Heck! I might have to replay the last few hours of my playthrough and kidnap the baby! I hope Grieving Mother won't be too mad.
  12. So Eder can become a high-ranking Eothasian at the end of the PoE and can't multiclass as a priest of Eothas in Deadfire? Weird. Not every single religious person is a priest.
  13. I don't usually play Dwarves myself, but i LOVE them as companions. Much prefer them over pompous elves. Bloody elves. Thinking they're so much better than us. ... I'll show them... I'll show them all!
  14. Speaking of D:OS2 - maybe someone could give an advice: There's A LOT after that. Your're 50% in. Uhh. Thanks. That’s what I was afraid of. I will try to go on, but I might give up on it. It's a very long game. If you didn't like it up to now better nor waste more time on it. Yeah, if you didn't like the first 2 chapters, you won't like the rest, because it doesn't really get better (in fact the first 2 chapters are probably the best part of the game and it does go downhill after that).
  15. Same, especially as most of these multiclass combinations are martial/magic which are gimped at the moment. My biggest takeaway from that list: Pallegina took up singing lessons. I don't know why, but I specifically thing of her character as being a bad singer. There's no lore to support this other than my head-canon. I'm pretty sure in the first game Pallegina does sing during a conversation with Kana Rua. Here's it in a video, at around 16:00 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAA8xhz408I&t=9s Didn't sound THAT bad to be honest. Still prefer Grieving Mother's jingle jangles.
  16. Since my MC is gonna be pure Priest, the rest of the folks will probably look like this: Aloth - Wizard Eder - Fighter Maia - Ranger Pallegina - Paladin Serafen - Cipher Tekehu - Probably a Druid (because Landshark) Xoti - Monk For the sidekicks, i don't really see myself using them. Most of them seem kinda redundant and since they're not going to be as fleshed out as the companions, i don't see much point in draggin' them along. Except maybe Konstanten as a Chanter, since there aren't any in my Companions (unless i decide that Tekehu should be a singing Landshark)
  17. Well, Tyranny was a much more stylized setting than Pillars is.
  18. Yeah I'm pretty sure the DF team refer the animation of swordman based on real life, and is more practical. But well this is a fantasy game so I'd like to see stylish than practical on animation Fair enough, to each his own. I prefer more grounded settings myself.
  19. The DOS animation might be 'cooler' but Deadfire animation is much more practical, so i prefer the Deadfire animation. To me, a lot of the animations in Divinity feel a bit too much like "cool, edgy anime poses"
  20. I usually play the first playthrough with a second-hardest difficulty and then the second playthrough on the hardest one. I'll probably do the same here.
  21. Companions in your keep still gained XP, no? I remember leveling multiple levels at once after picking up companions from Stronghold. Yeh, they gained a decreased percentage of XP you gained. But they could also gain XP from the stronghold adventures (and if i recall correctly, my Pallegina, whom i did not like one bit and used as a Stronghold Adventure bot, ended up outleveling my Watcher by like half-a-level).
  22. I'm really hoping i get to keep my Gaun's Share, which i used through the entire game (enchanting it along the way, of course). With Eothas wrecking my keep, he needs a good bonk over the head with his own bloody flail!
