  1. Iron Bull is pansexual and Josephine is bisexual. (I know some people hate the pan vs. bi discourse, but this is what their respective writers say, so.) You forgot to put writers in quotation marks.
  2. Fat chance. Personally, I think he's too dangerous even memory wiped, I had his soul destroyed. Well, returning him to the wheel leaves you the possibility of kicking his ass again. Which i'm more than happy to do!
  3. Hm. No ship-to-ship combat. I guess some people will be happy with ship combat becoming melee. I'm a little sad, but it still looks cool.Naval encounters have always had this option. Just because the footage showed one without the other doesn’t mean anything has changed. Whoa is this right!!? How do I do it? (I love the game, but can’t get in to the ship fighting system. Would much prefer to jump right into the stabbing and spell slinging) Pretty sure it was always supposed to be that way, instead of fighting ship to ship, you just move in close and board.
  4. I usually pick the classes for the flavor they bring and the story and not some gameplay mechanics they might have (even if i personally prefer having my 'MC' to be a support class, a healer or some buffer or whatnot). I mean, hey, chasing down Eothas as an Eothasian priest sounds hilarious.
  5. Durance himself comes to realise that he has been talking bullstars for most of the game. I don't dislike the character, but he is eminently suited to villainhood. If Durance becomes a villain then Grieving Mother will probably morph into Woedica. Seriously, she's the most evil character in POE1. For the most evil character in the game, it sure is weird how she's the only one that can actually leave your party if you're a genuinely terrible person yourself.
  6. I think this interview spoil one of the romance options, at the very end. Not reading the interview then (and don't you dare spoil anything here, ye basterds). If you’ve been keeping up on other interviews, the “spoiler” isn’t anything you haven’t figured out already. Good thing i wasn't keeping up with the interviews. I'm already getting the game, it's not like they're going to change my mind about it.
  7. I think this interview spoil one of the romance options, at the very end. Not reading the interview then (and don't you dare spoil anything here, ye basterds). It's the very last question of it. Not gonna even open it. Nope. I know me, and i know that i have an awful habit of spoiling **** for myself. Not falling for it. Nope.

  9. You must've failed to convince him that Magran conspired with Woedica and actually was trying to kill him. There is another ending for him, which i do think is kinda 'better' for him? Maybe?
  10. Could you? In one of two of his endings, he commits suicide. And in the other, he forsakes his Magran completely (and i assume loses his priestly wiggity woo magic) The PoE manual is pretty clear that cleric spells do not come from deities, so a faithless clerics do not lose their spells. Not that a character would need to have spells to be an antagonist. Nor indeed, be alive. The spells don't come from the deities themselves, yes, but it's faith that fuels them (hence why Eothasian priests are still able to perform, even if their god is 'dead'). But in-game, Durance himself even says that he will get rid of Magran's influence once the Watcher's quest is over (if you convince him that Magran conspired with Woedica), so i assume that losing one's faith (or purposely forsaking it) would cause the priest to lose his/hers powers. Though, i could be misremembering things, of course.

  12. I blame the voice actress for much of what I don’t like about her character. Her side quest was a gut punch though. I don't get you people at all, i loved her voice acting! Y'all are weird.
  13. I, for one, am thankful GM is gone. I despised her character--too much like Torment's own weird-for-weird's-sake going on with her. ... I liked her. Heck, she was probably my most favorite companion... After Eder. But Eder doesn't count, cause he's everyone's favorite.
  14. This. I did what I could to support Kana's confidence, curiosity and positive view of the Engwithans, and still ended up with the 'affable eccentric' ending for whatever reason. I really don't feel like having another 100-hour playthrough just to fix that, but it bothers me like a tiny, black stain on an otherwise perfectly clean window. Shame we won't be able to edit that kind of stuff on import. I got that ending too, but i don't see it as a bad ending for him. Heck, to me, it seems like the ending most true to himself. I don't think it's a bad ending, but neither is it all that good imo. As for it being most true to Kana, that depends on how you see him. When you meet him, he's idealistic, curious, and determined to start off an era of peace and prosperity in Rauatai. With the eccentric ending, it just felt to me like he lost some of that. I think in order to get the ending where he doesn't become an eccentric, but some inspiring voice, you basically have to have him in your party for a lot of the quests, like in the Sanitarium and whatnot, in order to get the dialogue prompts with him. If you don't bring him along to those specific quests, you basically get locked into either the Eccentric or Traditionalist endings (depending on what you say to him after finding the tablet) But then there's the whole "sails away in search of knowledge ending", so who the hell knows how it all actually works. It's really strange just how much more complicated Kana's arc is with so many different endings, when according to most polls i've seen, he's probably the least liked companion

  16. I may or may not have just replayed the last few hours of my game, just to steal the baby.
  17. Well, i mean, we should keep in mind that PoE 2 is set 5 years after the events of PoE 1. People can change quite a lot in 5 years.
