I'll be the first to admit that I know little more about star wars than what was in the movies and what has been in the games I have played (mainly because I can't get the comics/books up where I live). So any information I find out online or during discussions like this help me out quite a bit in terms of learning more of the SW universe. But your arguement in support of Nur Ab Sal is flawed at best, you see 50% more of nothing is still nothing.... While I don't see revan as the ultimate Jedi I still think that the prophacy of a Sith'ari, that was in kotor was ment to be about him/her otherwise why mention it at all. Yeah it might have been ment as a nod to those who know every line in the movies or to some source in the EU I don't know and I don't think we will ever know for sure since I doubt that anyone will ever come out and directly say one way or another. Also is it not possible that there could be more than one sith'ari? maybe one every thousand years or so? or maybe one every 4000 years? Because over 4000 years or even 1000 years its possible that the knowledge of who the sith'ari is can be forgot and then the cycle would just restart and they would wait agian until another comes to show great power. I don't know, I guess its a question best left to those who know more about SW than I.

The only way I can see that HK will be in your party at the begining of the game would be if Revan was dead/thought dead agian other wise why would HK abbandon revan? So I would think its more likely that it will just be a HK LIKE driod! Though I would like to see HK in the game agian I just can't see him being a member of the party agian. Another thing is they were so free about mentioning that T3 was coming back, so it begs the question if they were so free about that whats the difference with HK? I can't see why they would hold off on saying that HK was coming back since everyone liked HK and almost no one liked T3.

I would think adding buffs made for only the sentinel would solve alot of the problems. I think one such buff could be better energy deflection (not only blaster but also force storm or life drain). Make some powers cost less for them. Give them a higher constitution over all (because it make more sense for gaurdian to have a higher strengh and for consular to have a higher wisdom imho anyway) grant them a unique stance earlier on stuff like that would help make them more useful, skills are ok but you will more than likely have party members that can do almost anything you can put skills into so why bother with that so much, I say just make them tougher in a fight so it doesn't take just one good enemy to kill you off.

Hey I would think you would rather have them move the release date for PC up rather than push everything back. I know I would, But then agian I also have the Xbox. But here is a question for you how would you feel if the situation was reversed and it was the PC getting it first and I and all other Xbox users wanted it pushed back? you would feel the same way as us north american Xboxers do when you or someone else say that they should push the Xbox release back to match up with the other releases. I understand its not fair and to be honest the best reason why (and maybe the only reason we will ever know) is because of christmas.

You're assuming america is representative of the rest of the world...no way .5 of world has x-box. That's absurd. Also, not even 1/5 of AMERICA'S population has an x-box. I"d guess more like 1/100th of population of China has x-box (absolute conjecture, so if anyone could find stats...), if that. I agree. Although I think the difference may be that the XBox version sells for, what, close to $80 per game? PC versions can be had for $49.99. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That sounds alot like the canadian prices, am I right? Because when I went to pre order TSL the $80 price tag was what I was told (after taxes of course), and the $49.99 is what I was also told for the PC version. Both prices are from my local EB games.

I have to ask where where did you learn that 1 trillion = 1 billion? in the first arguement you state that the world population is "6 billion" by your standard of measure that would equal 6 trillion? As for below the poverty line that would consit of someone making less than I think $10,000.00 US or $20,000.00 Euro/CAN if I am not misstaken though I could be wrong someone from the states might be able to give the proper info for the US. Now on topic: Good work on finding that info on the number of Xbox owners in both the world and US, Servant of Eru and Atomic Space Vixen. I came up with one thought as to why LA might have held back the PC version till Feb (saying they are going to release the international version at the same time), because they figured it would severly limit the ammount of loss they would incure do to P2P file transfer and ilegal coping. The way I figure it is they thought that if they released the PC version to the US and then had to wait till feb to release the internation version that most people who have the internet would just download it in order to avoid the wait. I know that alot of games now come with anti-copy protection built in but with the proper knowledge it can be easily usurped. Thus in their eyes it would make more sense to release the game on the Xbox and maybe risk loosing some sales rather than releasing the game on both platforms and risk loosing a greater number of sales from people either obtaining the game iligaly through pirating or purchase in the US and Canada.As far as I know there isn't a way to copy a Xbox game and make it work on another xbox or PC though once agian I could be wrong on that.

have you tried calling tech support and asking for the complaint department? I don't know if it would work or not but it might be worth a try.

I sympathize (sp?) with everyone out there who got screwed because of the announced later release of TSL on the international maket as well as the PC market. But I know myself that if the situation was turned around I wouldn't be asking for LA or Obsidian to hold back the PC/international versions of the game just because I couldn't get it on my xbox for two months. In fact I would more than likely just take my lumps such as they are more than likely complain about it but would eventually move on and more than likely stop visiting the boards once the other version was released so the game experience wasn't ruined for me. I know I will more than likely catch hell over this post because some people will doubt what I am saying but the fact remains that when going up agianst a company like LA when they set there mind to something its very hard if not impossible to change it, even holding back on sales or pirating the software will only spure them onto raise the prices of games and continue to produce the console versions before the PC versions in order to counter the P2P problem. Also now adays alot of programs come with anti-pirating features built in that hinder (but can be usurped with the proper knowledge) ilegal P2P operations. While I do wish that they would have been able to ship the game fairly on every platform and version I don't wish to see the US Xbox version held back, mainly because of selfish reasons of my own.

Hey Tyrell, thanks agian for given all of us the oppertunity to voice our questions about the game. Here is a few questions I have heard and thought of over the past week or two. 1. Can you please give us a list of what lightsaber colours will show up in KOTOR II? 2. Is there any new feats or force powers you can tell us about that haven't been released yet? 3. Can you tell us what the differences between the six presstige classes are? 4. What stances will appear in the game? 5. What kinda of DLC can Xbox owner exspect at game launch.... if any? will the DLC be available anywhere else other than XBox live, CD/DVD maybe? 6. With the news of the release date in mind when will retailer recive their orders for TSL? there is veried dates given by each retailer. 7. Will there be cheats/glitches/FLU in TSL? 8. What is the level cap? 9. What is the lengh of the game roughly? 10. Will we be able to take an apprentice? if so will who the apprentice be depend on what our allignment is? 11. What bonus' if any will be given to the PC when you take a prestige class? 12. Who has the possibility of making a cameo during the game play? 13. How many sith lords are there? just the number we don't need to know anything about them just yet, unless they feel like sharing anyway. 14. How many areas are in the game? 15. exactly how many possible party NPCs are there? and do they very depending on allignment?

I second that, a reason why would maybe atleast soften then blow for some people.

I used flurry alot in KOTOR, but I can't wait to see what new feats they have created and also the new animations, maybe just maybe there will be one to take the place of flurry.

well then I guess the only thing I can say is don't worry why people are mad and move onto other threads where people are still talking about the game aspects rather than the release dates. Because if being told one thing then finding out you had been misslead in to beliving the wrong thing doesn't get you atleast a little upset then I can't think of any other way to explain why. I don't mean to offend you with this statement its just I really can't think of any other way to convey why the others on this site are upset with LA and whoever else is involved with the held back release of the PC version.

more or less your correct, what people are really mad about isn't the fact that the PC version is coming out in FEB but rather to the fact that they have been told since the start of development that the two games were going to be released at the same time weather it was going to be feb 2005 or dec 2004 was up in the air, now they have found out that the Xbox version is going to be out in dec and the PC version is still going to be out in feb. So mainly they are mad about being lied to or at the very least decived in to beliving that the two versions were being given the same attention during development.

people are mad because the offical release date for the XBox is two months before the offical release date of the PC they think they should be released at the same time, thats all.

I really hate to bring this up (because I REALLY want HK to be back in all his glory)but I feel it must be said, all it said was that it was going to be a Protical(sp?) droid it never did say it was going to be HK for all we know right now it could be just some droid off of the pergus station that we find the ebon hawk on. I know it also said that there would be a utility droid there but we had already found out that T3 was coming back so thats a safe bet but I still think its too early to say for sure that the Protical droid is in fact HK without some other info. But saying that should it turn out to be HK then I would love to be able to send him on assassination missions, maybe with an added clocking ability so he can sneak up on the sith lords from behind while I distract them to finish them off.

Where do you buy your upgrades? I think you're overpaying if it costs you that much for RAM or a new video card. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> canada!!! untill late last year it was costing me close to that to even think of upgrading to a good video card (then 128 MB) and what I meant for a good stick of Ram was about 512MB same time period. now both are down to around $150 but oh wait so is the PS2 and XBox.
