  1. I think I read in another thread that during return on the jedi that luke used force choke on a gamorian at Jabba's palace (I haven't had the chance to re-watch the movie yet to see for myself). So even in the movies Lucas showed that one could walk both paths as long as one knew what they were getting them selves into.
  2. No you are right I remember hearing the same thing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> same here
  3. its your setting because I have mine set to show 40 per page
  4. One word : Carbonite! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> small problem even 4000 years later it was very experimental as to safely keeping someone in carbonite, when the froze Han they weren't exactly sure that he would survive the freezeing process.
  5. I know its wishful thinking on my part and others but when the devs said that the PC could beomce a Jedi Master, it seemed to make sense that we could take on an apprentice. I guess when after the game is released we will finally find out because I would imagine till then the devs will be close mouthed on the subject.
  6. I agree because if for no other reason, this reason is why the TSL forums need some new rooms.
  7. yes but jedi become more powerful after death... would you really want four extremely powerful ghosts on your ship? I would think that they could put them in stasis tank or maybe put an implant in them to cut their mind off from their body and then kerep them alive on medical equipment? ok that ones just odd.
  8. I have to agree; well with having a female sith lord anyway. It would show a lot of originality on obsidians part to have a female sith lord since as far as I know there hasn't ever been one in a game before.
  9. also the treat injury will help in the creation of stims and medpacks
  10. yeah but how are you going to gaurd 4 jedi, a wookie, a war hero, and a utility droid? the only way that one could do that and make it even close to being resonable is to have almost everyone on the ship in the brige and leave a skeleton crew to command it. and we have all known since the time of "Dudely Do Wright" that criminal master minds are kinda dumb in the way they do things... you know the whole good will triumph over evil thing kinda kills the hope of having a smart bad guy.
  11. I would imagine that there will be some questions you will have to answer in order to get past party-npcs whether it be from a npc or during the character creatation we more than likely wont know until the release but with everyone wanting to see someone different I am sure they will figure out a way to make it so that everyone will have a chance to come back (other than Juhani since akari said it was doubtful that she would return).
  12. depending on how you went through the begining of the leviathon you could have had to defeet either 8,9, or 17 gaurds 1 gaurding jolee (only there for jolee) 1 outside the computer room 2 inside the computer room 1 on the wakway up to the medical/ droid bay 4 at the end of the walkway past the droid repair bay/medical bay 8 in the crew quarters 17 total so yeah while they were not hard to defeat you were fairly well gaurded.
  13. Since the romance option was important to alot of people I would think that they would find away to work it in to the line of questions.
  14. from the sounds of it I am not sure that many will be impressed with skill points alone, when it comes to Sentinals. I would like it if they decided to give them a speacial stance from the get go, maybe one that has a high defense. Or maybe extra class skills. Just something that would help make Sentinals more of a fan favorite than just another class that only get used sometimes.
  15. I just find it hard to think of any really good ways to bring revan back. With all the different ways people could have played it makes almost impossible to get it right unless there is a bunch of question you have to answer during the character creation screen (i.e. carth: dead? yes or no, Bastila: dead yes or no, etc.). While yes I wouldn't mind meeting up with Bastila and Revan during the game I just think that it would be better to leave it too NPC's telling the PC what happened to revan. Other than answering a bunch of questions the only other way I can think that they might bring revan back (and this goes for the original party NPC's) is for Obsidian to set a baseline of revan either being pure LS and having everyone return or Revan being Pure DS and having only canderus, T3, and HK return. If anyone else can think of anyother reasons please let me know.
  16. I only every played through once as a sen and I found it to be a very weak character, by that I mean poor force points and next best thing to useless with a saber. I usally played through as a sol/con gave the best of both worlds.
  17. I hope revan makes a quick pass through the game nothing more. As many have said, I would hate to have him/her end up being different than the way I made him/her to be. I would think that it would make more sense to just leave him/her out of the game entirely and just have refrences to him/her throughout the game.
  18. man sometimes I am REALLY glad to be a CANADIAN! B)
  19. ok ok thats enough of that.... Mac may be weakend by the return of steve jobs but it is by no means sudued. going back a few years the supreme court ruled that mirsosith had to donate X ammount (forgot the exact number) of new computers to schools all accross the US, now the thing that is really stupid about this decission is that during this same court case microsith and darth bill were being charged with having a monopoly (which for those out there who are unfamiliar is technically illigal in both canada and he states) and using it to force other smaller companies out of the market. So by rulling the way that the supreme court did it infact essured Microsith an even larger monopoly, because until that time the school section of the market was dominated by Macintosh and Microsith had been wanting a way in for many years. anyway back on topic here, linux will more than likely never see a copy of KOTOR II and nither will Mac mainly because they do not have a large enough share of the market. now you can choose to run it on both opertaing systems but as many already know you need an emulator to run windows programs. Which really sucks.
  20. hey how do you think MAC people feel?
  21. you can never kill all the sith, so there will always be a sith lord or atleast someone waiting to take the mantal of sith lord in the works someplace.
  22. been asked and answer a few times that at this point in time there is no plans to make a linux version of KOTOR II.
  23. I am guessing that wont come out till well after the game is released world wide.
  24. well only one that we might know about at the end of the game (kind of a well duh there I know). more than likely there will be many that we don't know about, giving way to KOTOR 3.
