  1. When I heard the Voice on the offical site I also immediatly thought that it could be her, I hope it is because she is a good actress.
  2. KOTOR has to be the best of the bunch.
  3. By that reasoning then its possible that her handmaiden could infact be her in disscuise (sp?). Lets hope, Also it would make sense becuase the true handmaiden might not be force sensitive while the true queen should be (saying she has any shared blood line with the prior queen and king of onderon).
  4. Kelly Hu: Lady Death Strike (I think thats her name anyway - the one with the adamantium finger nails) from X-men 2; the Profit in the Scorpian(sp?) King. Jennifer Hale: I didn't even know who she was before today, but given that she did such a good job with Bastila's voice I think it would be mice that should bastila return in TSL then she should do the voice for her (nothings more anoying than in a sequal they use a different actor or actress to play the voice/part).
  5. Since we have already been told that the PC isn't Revan! the only connection I can see if that they both left republic space in the last 8 years and both have returned/will return in this game. Oh and they are both Jedi. :D
  6. as to the second part: as long as Atton and Atris aren't as whinny and stand-offish (respectivly of course) as their predicessors then it really doesn't matter that much to me if they look like the past characters, though it stands to reason that they would look similar since they would atleast have some basis off of the original game and the OT.
  7. another trailer or more character profiles
  8. Planets/Ships/Stations: Peragus Station (A mining faculty) Telos (Carth's homeworld)/Citedal Station Nar Shadda (Once was a place of luxury but turns into a criminal haven) Korriban (Sith home world) Onderon/Dxun (Jungle like planet) Dantoine (Remains of the Jedi academy) The Harbinger Ebon Hawk The Party: The PC Atton Rand (Carth like guy) kreia (Someone similer to Joole but a girl) Boa Dur (Zabark) Mira (Female bounty hunter) Atris (White Hair Chick) Mandalore (Leader of the mandalore clans) Wookie (He has not been confirmed) HK-47/50 (Proticol/Assassin droid T3-M4 (TM-34, what else is there to say) Disciple Handmaiden Visas Marr Villains: Darth Sion (He looks like he's about to fall apart) Darth Nihilis (Mask Sith Guy) Darth sith women New Force Powers: Battle Meditation Force Sight Force Clairvoyance Force Rage Force Scream Force Crush Master Heal Force Fury New Feats: Un-armed combat I figured I would update this a bit, One thing I noticed on the Offical site is that Dxun and Onderon are listed as one planet to visit and not two as previously thought it might be. So that leaves us with a final count of five planets and two ships ( I am not counting Citedal station as a planet since its linked with telos). So what planets might we be missing?
  9. So does that mean that if your PC sucks by the end of the game, Mandalore won't join you? It'd be an interesting addition if the only way certain NPCs joined you was if you have completed all the sidequests and reached a certain XP level, otherwise they'll just not join you. Something to give bonuses to those who do all the little things. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If I am correct then it would be an interesting possibilty and add more realisim to the game. Akari confirmed that madalore is THE mandalore in the weekend developers thread.
  10. Yeah... but you can reach level 30. (Revan was lvl 20) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> By the end of the game. But if we're talking about "fame" or "recognition" of the characters (regardless of in-game strength), the new PC isn't close to as recogniseable as Revan was. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think I read someplace that the non-party NPCs will react to what you do during the game so its possible that (saying I am correct... please correct me if I am wrong) you may gather enough fame through the game to earn mandalore's respect.
  11. :'( <{POST_SNAPBACK}> sorry 'bout that! :"> poor wording on my part. Not meaning to be an arse about it.
  12. Hope you realize they will just move on to another pointless speculation now. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> there is no real pointless speculation when it comes to the characters, since we know next to nothing about them anything said could be possible. Plus its fun!! (w00t)
  13. but you can only one of them in your party at a time correct? or does that change depending on other factor as well??? thus far some of us are guessing that you can always have the disciple in your party but you can't have Marr and Handmaiden in your party at the sametime... going from the wall paper and some other pictures on the offical site.
  14. I am willing to bet that we will have the option of anyone of the Sith Lords joining us, maybe at the sacrafice of the majority of our other NPCS. I would think the only ones that would stay with the PC would be the ones that could be swayed to the DS and of course the apprentice would for sure be one of the ones who would stay with the PC. But if Sion is able to join the party then I am going to be very glad that there is no such thing as smellavision or I would spend a small fortune on fabreeze :D
  15. wouldn't it be 9 because the tenth be the PC? just kinda currious because I see everyone refering to there being 10 available to you at any point in the game and I was just kinda wondering. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The short answer is: No, the PC is not one of the NPCs Long answer: NPCs stands for Non-Playable Characters. That wouldn't include the PC, as you are playing as the PC (playable character). You didn't roleplay as Bastila in K1, but she was a character in the game, so she was a NPC (even tho you could physically have her lead the party and control her stats like the PC, you couldn't have her interact with anyone, it was always revan talking. You also got to pick Revans starting stats. You never were confused who was the main character in the game. Thats YOUR character). Generally tho, the main guy is the PC and everyone else is NPCs. I say generally because a NPC could kinda become the PC. In Japanese RPGs, were you don't get to pick your beginning stats and the "roleplaying" is limited in some regards, you can effectively swap the "PC" out for a new PC (which may be a current NPC). Like in Chrono Trigger when Chrono dies and you have someone else lead your party. The lines are blured in that case because there isn't much showing who the PC is besides for who you are currently controling and who the story focuses on. For most decent PCRPG purposes tho, PC = the guy you create. NPCs = characters that you have limited control over. Actually, NPCs doesn't actaully mean members of your party either. It could be people just wandering around the level and such. You would really have to say PNPCs (as in Party NPCs) to show you meant joinable NPCs, but whatever gets the point across. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I realize that, what I was meaning though is there going to be a space for more than nine NPCs or is the group going to be limited to the original nine spaces that were featured in KOTOR? Also thanks for the info while not all that useful to me at this moment in time I am sure that some of the n00bs might find it enlightning as to what we all are talking about from time to time. I must remember to be a little bit more clear in my post since some missunderstood what I was meaning :D
  16. 6th Possible List 1)Kreia 2)Atton 3)Mira 4)Bao 5)Mandalore 6)T3 7)Visas Marr/"Handmaiden" "Disciple" 9) ? 10) ? 11) ? 12) ? I left out the NNC, the wookie, and the HK droid mainly because as of yet I haven't been about to find anything that says that we get anyone of them in our party (though I am sure we will atleast get one or two of them... hopefully not the wookie!!!). I have found lots of speculation but nothing from a dev. Though it has been said that we will meet an Hk series droid at the begining of the game I don't think its been said that we don't distroy that droid right there. Also I joined the Marr and handmaiden into one spot since they only show up on the one wallpaper each (Marr DS and Handmaiden LS) while the Deciple shows up on both. As its been said before the fact that the deciple shows up on both may merely be a peice of artwork and not fact, though I would hope this late into the developement they would atleast show us something this simple to be true. So as it sits from my list above we still have four spots to be filled I wonder who might be filling these spots.
  17. I've always wondered why no one tried that <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know....but don't laser beams fly really really really fast? Not slow in SW mode? In Jedi Knight 2 and Jedi Academy you could force push back rockets and other things (which was really fun).... maybe bullets would be ineffective as well. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well since the lazer beem is comprised of light it should in all rights travel at or at the very least near the speed of light. But since we are talking about the starwars universe I would say that a bullet would be useful if (only IF) you could find away to disstract the target enough that they didn't have time to react to the projectile.
  18. hey now don't start a arguement between the two sides agian, hell it just finally cooled off on the board after the last upset (the release date bullsh!t by LA) all we Xboxers are saying is that its not fair that one should get something like DLC when the other can't by design. I know its the same arguement people used (and some still are [rightfully so mind you]) but this is slightly different because it concerns acctual game content and not just the release of the game (which would have included the same content at a better graphic level). Edit: I was in full support over each side having its own (different) DLC because it would have set to two appart, but for one to just not get any I would hope that atleast by the time the international xboxers get their copy of the game this will have been fixed, so in other words I hope it will be fixed by the second printing of the game (though highly unlikely).
  19. more or less, there is nothing else coming out or already out that I want to purchase so I will get it in dec so I will have something to do until I can afford to purchase TSL and KOTOR plus my upgrades in feb.
  20. try IGN, Gamspot, and the offical site. that will cover most of the news and udates we have gotten over the past few months.
  21. I hope that for us Xbox users out there they decide to make extras and release them on the second release of the game because as it sits I would almost be willing to purchase the game a second time to get be able to get upgrades through live. But with that not being a real possibility I guess I am going to have to upgrade my PC so I can get the upgrade when I puchase the PC version in FEB (though by that time I will already have the Xbox version of the game). I don't like the fact that Xbox is getting the shaft on this since its really not fair that one should get update while the other is unable to get it. Although as I already said if there is a possibility of getting updates on the PC I guess I will be forced to update my computer (though I will have more than one game to upgrade it for i.e. KOTOR) so I can run TSL on it.
  22. wouldn't it be 9 because the tenth be the PC? just kinda currious because I see everyone refering to there being 10 available to you at any point in the game and I was just kinda wondering. Edit: while pointless now since it has been quoted multiple times; but is there going to be an extra space in the NPC screen or are we still limited to nine NPCs.
  23. when I first got my game I called in all my months sick days right after that. Hell I almost lost my job because of it, mind you I REALLY hated my job so it was all good. Also my longest time playing was 39hrs straight that was the first weekend I had it. :D
  24. A sith lords ghost or the force clouds would be my guess.
