Mandalore is definately Canderous!
Stargate: 2000 replied to jaguars4ever's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yeah I guess we will have to wait until the game comes out or atleast until a dev decides to give us the answer, whichever comes first. -
jsut look at Malak, Uthar, an Yathura for an idea of what sith tats would look like.

Mandalore is definately Canderous!
Stargate: 2000 replied to jaguars4ever's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
But if its a can not remove item then does that mean we can't add armor either? -
Also we wont be able to cast force powers at the begining of the game we will have to wait until Kreia teaches us how to reconnect to the force, so having a low FP wont matter until more than likely level 5 or 6.

Hm. -Akari <{POST_SNAPBACK}> While not a direct answer it does seem to indicate that YES sith tattoos will be in the game.

Forced to play NPC groups?
Stargate: 2000 replied to Sorwen's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Has it even been said that we have to control the characters while they are off doing their own thing? I mean it could be as simple we split off into two parties the PC's party goes one direction and the other goes the other way. I think it would be interesting to be able to play the other characters (kind of giving them the chance to shine for certain tasks) as long as I get to pick the parties I could careless because it would suck if you needed all people in one party who weren't that good in battle and they wound up going into the most battle on the quest. -
Mandalore is definately Canderous!
Stargate: 2000 replied to jaguars4ever's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
From K1, Canderous spoke of : (paraphrased) : "For 40 of your years, I've fought...." His first initiation battle as a "young mandalore plunged into the thickest fighting" above some world in his bassilisk war droid. i.e. Coming of adulthood @ 18 years BUT, 5 years have elapsed since K1.... Therefore : 18 + 40 + 5 = 63  <{POST_SNAPBACK}> While I agree with you that canderous is Mandalore, I do have some questions about your math. First wasn't it hinted at during the game that a mandalorian child was given their own weapon as soon as they could handle one, meaning that they could within reson enter battle at a fairly young age (by our standard anyway). As mentioned by another poster what is a mandalorian year comapired to a galactic standard year? and finally how long do mandalorians stay in active duty? I mean by our standard 63 is kinds old to be running through a battle feild, so do we have to keep a constant supply of geritol on hand for mandalore? or does he need to make frequent bathroom breaks during battle? A question to anyone who might know: can we take the armor mandalore is wearing off of him to reviel his face or does that armore always apear until we find out who he is? -
Where did this quote come from? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Someone else posted it in another thread, its nothing more than one persons theory of the POSSIBLE meeting between the PC and HK.

Storyline Speculations
Stargate: 2000 replied to Lord Satasn's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I was first thinking that it would have had to be something horendus for the order to exile someone, But then I got to thinking about the whole juhani side quest. I mean the order more or less let her fall to the darkside in order for her to make the choice of either staying that way or to return to the light. What if the PC's exile was sort of the same, maybe the events of the mandalorian wars pushed the PC to the brink of the light/dark change and the order wanted to see which way she/he would choose. While its not anywhere an original idea it could explain why the order would welcome back everyone (including revan) but this guy/gal. -

Stargate: 2000 replied to Hydrogen's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
well saying that HK is in the game as a party member, I would hope they made it so that we could use his assassination protocol. -
(w00t) .... umm so does canderous show up in the game???

Your lightsaber...
Stargate: 2000 replied to random evil guy's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
My thoughts exactly, it might even be the way the PC gets ahold of the Uber Crystal that bonds with the owner, and grows stronger as they do, and changes colour acording to their alignment. -

I belive Nur said that it would take almost the entire council to disconect someone from the force. -
nope you're wrong on that it was the iradorians that was blood thirsty and who also hated the echani because they had such light armor so they could run away quickly.

I wonder if the guy writing the article was trying to drop a hint that they have been improved imensely over KOTOR. -
Reguler to Jedi npcs
Stargate: 2000 replied to starwarskid15_19's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
But the thing is you can't go by what the movies said, mainly because in 4000 years things ttend to change. I have never read any EU so I couldn't say what it says about the time period, but 4000 years is a long time. Something I was just thinking of is what if you can only pick multiple apprentices if you are DS. Because according to what I have heard on the boards beck in KOTOR times a sith could tkae multiple apprentices. -
Where did you get that from? It doesn't say anywhere that the level cap has been removed altogether, only that you can go above 20. Which we already knew. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Simply put people are taking this to be literal, I am guessing that it is ment to be taken that they have merely moved the level cap from level 20 to say level 40. But if that was the case then why not just say that? Sure they might want to keep the max level a secret but he could have just said that they have moved the level cap, which acctually leads me to belive that, that may be what he did say and the person who wrote the article screwed up when transcribing it, thus moved became removed. I guess the only way for this to be answered would be to either play the game or have a dev answer the question.

Just a thought maybe it is HK-50 who is taken apart on the Hawk. What I was thinking was that once the Hawk landed on peragus someone tried to put it back together but accidentialy activates his assassination proticols causing him to go nuts and start killing everything around him. -
