he may not desire power so much as want to restore the honnor and glorry to his race. I never saw canderous as the follower type of character, yes he followed the PC but that was because of the fact that the PC showed that he/she could handle them selves in battle, then he followed the PC once they found out they were revan because he respected/feared revan for killing Mandalore. So I think after his time with revan he would have either wanted to go back and kill the rulling mandalore either for power or because he wanted to restore the honnor to the mandalorian race. Also saying that the strongest mandalorian is given/earns the title of mandalore then canderous should have been more than strong enough to wipe the floor with the current mandalore. If he wasn't then I would think that we wouldn't be able to get mandalore until the final hour or two of the game mainly because he would be way to strong for a low level character.

Since we know NOTHING about this mandalore I think its kinda of stupid to just rule out the possiblity of canderous being the new mandalore, a lot can happen over a five year period. I still think that (and since no one has corrected me yet) that the title of mandalore can be awarded to just about anyone all they have to be able to do is kill the previous mandalore. Now since the one that was killed by revan the next mandalore would have had to more than likely just be the first one to find the mask. But I still think that Candy could have went bacck to "mandalorian" space and challenged the rulling mandalore for the title (after seeing the cowardly act of the various mandlorians during the game) and won in a death match.

can someone please provide a link to anything that offically confirms that there is going to be a "Walking-carpet" in TSL? I have apparently missed it. While I think that having a "walking-carpet" in the game is a bad idea I just hope that we will have a choice in whether or not to leave him where ever we find him (hopfully as a lifless corpse!!!).

I expected around 15 - 20 but I am ok with 12, I am just hoping that it means that there will be more interactions with all the characters.

Well if Mandalore is suppost to be the strongest of all the Mandolians than I would think that he wont be able to join the party until late in the game. Now as to him being the strongest I would think that Canderus would qaulify as being the strongest of the mandalorians, since he did finish the game at level 16+ (someone else said that revan finished at level 18 so I am just guessing candy would be lower by a level or two). So its still possible that Canderus could be mandalore, I would also think (and anyone who know different please correct me if I am wrong) that an individual mandalorian can challange a Mandalore for the title, and of course if they win the fight they win the title and power over the armies. I know it was said in the game that the mandalorians were spead all accross the galaxy at the time of KOTOR so I wonder if there is going to be a side mission where you will have to recover something in a mandalorian strong hold and thats where you meet Mandalore and maybe another possible NPC.

Thanks Akari and all the other devs who took time out of their busy schedules to help answer some questions us loyal gammers might have had over the development procress up to this piont. I am sure we will all miss the weekly (there abouts anyway :cool: ) weekend developers thread, but its nice to know that they are finally getting to the point in development where they can take sometime to themselves. Anyway thanks to all the devs for your time and efforts in creating the game and answering our questions.

Don't expect and answer on that one because it will more than likely be a closely gaurded secret until the game is released.

Hey Akari; A question about the DLC being cut for the release of the Xbox, do you have a rough Idea when us xboxers might exspect to get DLC? I was just wondering if we would have to wait until a later date to get it or if we will get any at all. and thanks for taking the time to answer our questions.

in one of the weekend developer threads, I think it was either number one or number two.

well they say the force runs through everything and everyone so it would stand to reason that anyone who was sliding towards the dark side would start to show the effects of that slide. So with the PC affecting the allignment of the NPCs it would make sense that they would start to show the same traits as a dark jedi or sith would when they reached a certain level of DS alignment.

more than likely what they have doen is mearly choosen to not give away her name because if you look at it there is one called dissciple, and one called mandalore as well. What I think is that they just decided to give them general names until they decided to release the full profile. So to sum it up I think all three names given are just place holders till a later press release and not the true names of the characters. Because dissciple sounds like another name for..... wait for it..... wait for it........ *APPRENTICE*, Hand maiden sounds like she might be just that when the PC first meets her, and as for Mandalore I am guessing that he is just that a mandalore solider and not THE mandalore.

there are enitre kits to out fit Xboxs being sold for certain games like HALO 2 or HL2 (I think). They cover all of the flat black plastic on the top and front of the Xbox some acctually look kinda cool. While I doubt that I would purchase or buy something like that I am guessing there are quite a few people who would if for no other reason other than to show how much they love the game. Here are some exapmles

I would think she is only a limited time charater or maybe she has almost no force points. I would make sense that force sight would be a natural power for her and cost her no force points kinda like juhani and her stealth power.

or something else with a VERY high level of gravity like a white whole or a super giant star. For those who don't know what a white hole is, its the oposite of a black hole or in other words its the same thing as the big bang.

I would doubt it, because what would happen if a sith lord used crush on her? it would kill everyone in the party and thus end the game right there.

the only problem I can see with it is how did MSG know revan? I guess he could have been revans masters or someone who interacted with revan on dantooine. So saying he was revans master (since I don't think we know who revans master really was all) it could be that once revan fell he was taken back under the wing of his old master and even Malak didn't know about the MSG. So it would kinda fit. Now also saying that the MSG was still working with the jedi at the time (it would explain the mask) He wouldn't have been able to take control of the SF for himself at that time (possibly having other things he wanted to do before reveiling himself to the order as a sith lord). And when malak struck down revan (in the most cowardly act possible) he took the opertunity to convince the council that erasing revans mind would be the only way to find the SF before it was too late. Its kind of a hole punched theory but it would still explain why if he is the sith lord and not the leader of the assassians he would wear the mask to hide his idenity. It would also explain why revan took the title of DLOTS (to hide his masters idenity). anyway feel free to tear it to shreads as I am sure some are frothing at the mouth to do so.

I think he is an Iradorian (or whatever you call them, the guy in the gold armor in the mannan bar) I think it would be interesting just to have someone in your party who lusts for blood. But in all reality I think he's a mandalorian.
