Wasn't it also said that we were on the right track (or something to that effect), which also could mean just about anything. I belive it was Akari that said that.

I know this is mostly wishful thinking on my part, but it does kinda make sense seeing as the PC can choose to become a Jedi Master or Sith Lord.

Would you like to meet a Skywalker in KOTOR 2/3?
Stargate: 2000 replied to DSLuke's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
he's got a very valid point there, It would kinda ruin the whole feel about the game. most things in kotor that are references to the movie people can look past but to have a skywalker in the game would just cheepen the game. -
Now this I can answer , Akari said that the number would change as the PC progressed through the game so there is no real set number of lords. taken from the weekend developer thread #4
-
It looks like I was wrong on both points, and thanks for the info too.
-
ok cool thanks for clearing that up, I was trying to do a search to find out but kept coming up with nothing relevant so thanks agian.

Thanks for the info

Oh... I didn't realize that it had been confirmed that sion wasn't the main bad guy yet. I know it has been said the others will appear in that spot, but was it a dev that said that or was it just someone else on the boards?
-
yeah I second that, I always thought skill points and class skills were the same thing. If someone can explain the differences please.
-
I would doubt it because if you look at the walk through trailer its sion who is standing malaks spot on the main screen, but with that being said it would make more sense to have either one of the unknown lords or the MSG to be the main boss because we know nothing of them yet and more than likely (with the way things are going right now) wont know anything about them till right before the games full release (i.e. world wide release).

Yes good find indeed, Thanks!

Do we want to see Revan killed off in KOTOR2
Stargate: 2000 replied to KOTORFanactic's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I think that if revan is in the game they should kill him off by letting him sacrafice himself to save the PC insome way maybe early on in the game (saying he is LS) or maybe kill him off at the end of the game, make him the final battle because that would work regaurdless of alignment. -
The only thing I can remeber is that HK says the he was sent ito mandalorian space for a mission that he can not remember and was taken prisoner by another mandalorian who later tried to use HK to kill mandalore, but I don't think it was ever really said that revan sent HK to kill mandalore. Or am I misstaken, because I know that revan killed mandalore himself, canderus tells the PC this during the long talks they have.

Anyone else notice these
Stargate: 2000 replied to Stargate: 2000's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I don't think so because the normal saber and the short both had the same hilts in KOTOR... didn't they? -
in these two picts you can clearly see that there is two different hilts being used, also in the second pict what is up with the zabark's arm? http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/kotor2/screens.html?page=110 http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/kotor2/screens.html?page=108

I belive you are refering to the side notes made by the author of the article I didn't include them since I had already quoted them in privious posts but I will since you mentioned them Kreia: Jedi of vision? The clues are there when players meet the elderly Jedi Kreia in the morgue on the mining planet of Peragus in KOTOR:TSL's opening moments, she's wearing a hood that covers he eyes. breif peeks at her orbs seem to indicate, well, there's something wrong: they seem to be fogged over, although it may have been some slight graphical glitch. Most importantly, she seems to use the force to see, peering into areas blocked from normal sight. is Kreia blind? Perhaps. LucasArts isn't telling, and there is definitive evidence either proving or disproving the theory on the whole of the Lord's first planets. Rise of the robots Needless to say, both utility droid T3-M4 and protocol droid HK-47, non-player characters from the original game return in a spectactular way in KOTOR:TSL. This time, however, developer Obsidian is putting special emphasis on the droids, ensuring they'll have plenty of time in the spotlight Players will have to control T3-M4 for extended periods on Peragus, unlocking many areas inaccessible to the main character. As for the meatbag-loathing HK-47 - his role on Peragus and the megaton-bomb-like impact it has are something player will be talking about for years to come.

Bastila Shan vs Anakin Skywalker
Stargate: 2000 replied to KOTORFanactic's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Where did you get that from? I've never heard it said that it affects the enemy in any way at all. Atleast not in the instances I've seen/read about it being used. It merely helps large scale armies fight as "one" in a more cohesive manner. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think this picture is what he is talking about. Also I found this on IGN. Battle Meditation is a rare and powerful skill that allows a Jedi to influence the outcome of even a large battle. The Jedi develops an image of the battle in their mind and projects it to both sides of the conflict, inspiring their own troops while demoralizing the enemy. Used in both small skirmishes and larger conflicts, Battle Meditation can turn the tide when needed most. -
How many different ways are there to play?
Stargate: 2000 replied to Zach Morris's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
why yes I did -
you do realize that Everyone starts out as an unknown in any business, right! and what is it that makes them a hopeless jerk? do you know them or something?
-
I am guessing that you never saw Ep1 then, because compaired to it, EP2 looks like oscar material.

I have to agree with this, I mean until someone said that it looked like KOTOR's box art I didn't even notice it, that goes to show how much I care about the box art really. Also I think the box art is quite fitting since it would seem to follow the precident set by the OT in the way art is layed out (i.e. the movie poters all had roughly the same look to them). So it would stand to reason that the KOTOR series would follow this as well IMHO anyway.
