  1. umm two months... over the XBox release date anyway
  2. Where do you buy your upgrades? I think you're overpaying if it costs you that much for RAM or a new video card. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> canada!!! untill late last year it was costing me close to that to even think of upgrading to a good video card (then 128 MB) and what I meant for a good stick of Ram was about 512MB same time period. now both are down to around $150 but oh wait so is the PS2 and XBox. Mind you some video cards can still cost up around $250... why I am not exactly sure but it can.
  3. The problem with this point is that most people already own a computer and consequently have Windows already installed. Therefore, Microsoft doesn't make any more money by this release since most people will already have a computer and those that don't will not spend over 1000 dollars just for one game. On the other hand, not everyone has a XBox and there will be some who will buy an XBox just for this game. So therefore, it is not without reason that Gates and Co. would rather have an early XBox release than PC release. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Your right I did kinda over state it there, but what I was implying was that if someone was purchasing a computer they would/ could purchase TSL along with it and also Billy has already gotten his cut off of your harware choice. Heck if I didn't know anybetter I would say that he wanted to take over the world.... wait he already did that...... *aheam* "ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY BILL GATES!!"
  4. You are correct that roughly every 4-5 years there is a new version of consoles out on the market, but the thing is that when you purchase a console you know for a fact that in that 4 or 5 years you don't have to upgrade your system, you don't have to patch anything and you can still find games that will work well on your system two or three years after the new standard comes out. But most importantly about a year after the new system comes out it cost about the same as upgrading one part on a PC for example 2003 the XBox/PS2 cost the same as upgrading a video card or buying a good stick of RAM (i.e. $200 - 300).
  5. 1) Billy Gates doesn't really care which system it comes out on first because either way you will be playing it on HIS system!!! unless there is an apple or Linux version in the mic that I have yet to hear about? and from what I have read I would think he would rather you play it on PC than the XBox because he looses money on every XBox sold and make a large profit on every copy of windows loaded onto a PC. 2) what difference does it make if you get it in dec or feb? I mean its not like they have all the sudden decided to cancel the PC version of the game!!! hey it could always be worse.
  6. Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't it said someplace a little while ago that there was going to be DLC for the xbox when TSL was released not after?
  7. hey you forgot to mention the gold credit card with a $10,000.00 limit that ships with the game, that way the rest of us can to afford such a computer. <_<
  8. Xbox Live DLC, if any patches are released for the Xbox.
  9. what do u mean december 25th i aint waitin till christmas 2 play it as soon as it comes out im in there:P <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am getting it the day it comes out, then gonna beat it, then gonna post all of the info on the fan site i am helping with <{POST_SNAPBACK}> good for you!.... Would you like a cookie?
  10. But you don't play as revan you "MIGHT" see revan but you don't play the entire game as revan so it does matter a fair bit as to how you played the first game. How I am not exactly sure but the devs said it would matter.
  11. I know you will be asked at the begining of the TSL as to how you completed KOTOR, but the thing I haven't been able to find out is will they effect the alignment of the PC (i.e. if you went DS in KOTOR then will your PC start off more DS than if you went LS during KOTOR)?
  12. nope! however unfortunate(sp?) that it might be
  13. you know you could be opening yourself up to an arugement on existentalisim (sp?) I mean if you think that the soul is real and that it lasts after death then in truth your body is nothing more than a container. but thats an arguement for another time and place. I think they should give you good stuff when you kill high level baddies, when I killed the apprentice in the temple on the unknown world I felt ripped off when I got strenth gloves that only improved my strength by 3 (I think) mainly because I already had the ones from Korriban that increased my strength by +5 and the CNS strength belt so those gloves were useless.
  14. if true, VERY COOL it would add a whole new type of challenge to the game.
  15. Well there has been a bit of speculation recently that there are more than 3, based on nothing, so I'm not convinced, I still think there are only 3 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have to ask you though what evidence that there is only going to be 3 sith lords? the only thing I can think of thats been said about the number of sith lords is that there us 3+ but less than the number of planets. I know I have nothing to say that there is going to be more than one sith lord per prestige class but I think that there could but upwords of four or five sith lords. heck we don't even know if there is going to be one sith lord per prestige class yet.
  16. I say a pet Rancor would be cool, just to sit back and watch to kill anything in sight... mabye it would be a good way to dispatch carth should he show up in the game
  17. Hey hows it going? How much more do you guy and gals have left to do on the game? i.e. how much longer before you ship to Lucas arts?
  18. the same thing is shown 45 seconds into the movie off to the right hand side behind the sith. I think its more than likely another terentatek type beast. though it would be cool to have one as a pet, because it not only could be used in battle but also as a transportation source with in the game (i.e. save the PC form having to run for long distances) though that might be just wishful thinking
  19. THIS is what I was talking about. If you choose ds, neighther works <{POST_SNAPBACK}> number two does work regaurdless if your LS or DS. To make it work for the DS just change the wording to... The masked sith guy is Revan who after the death of his beloved Bastila at the hands of the sith lords seeked to take vengence on all those who lead to her death, Jedi, Sith, and republic non are safe from his vengence. See it works As for the one with Dustil you never know that you kill dustil if you go DS because you wouldn't even know about him or even if you do as far I know I never saw his name above any of the sith on korriban after I killed uthar... though I may have missed it. SO as far as reven knows Dustil made it out of korriban... mind you I always completed carths quests in order to shut him up.
  20. I'm in agreement, if they kill him off it has got to be with respect towards him. Not falling off a bridge or something. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> although it would make a really funny cut scene
  21. 1) Sorry about that 2) HUH????
  22. I say kill revan and call it quits already I mean the guy/gal had a good run and all but hey they are yesterdays news and I would much rather the new game be about the NEW PC and not about Bio's old PC. I think I would be more pissed if they decided to put too much emphasis on revan rather than the new story. If they just killed him off and during the back story given at the begining of the game they told me that revan and bastila got killed off by rivial sith I would be content because it would alow me to focus on the new story rather than counting the minutes till I was to meet revan or could hear about revans recent adventures.
  23. I am guessing that your talking about Sion? If so its not a bad idea but I can't see it happening like that I mean they more than likely will have him be somone who has had a great injustice done to him and thats what fueled him to use the force to stay alive... for however long he has been around.
