I have two theories on this. 1) The masked sith guy is in fact Dustil (sp?) who being distraught over his fathers death/abandoning him yet agian in order to fight for the republic falls to the dark side yet agian. Taking what he learned at the accademy on korriban and finding a sith master to train with rises to the rank of sith lord after killing his master. 2) The masked sith guy is Revan who fell to the dark side yet agian after the death of his beloved Bastila at the hands of the sith lords. Seeking to take vengence on all those who lead to her death, Jedi, Sith, and republic non are safe from his vengence. What do you think? feel free to rip them to shreads and or add your own theory.

White Saber discovered!!!
Stargate: 2000 replied to Darth Ravok's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
You could be right on it being the mantle of the force. Look at the 46 second mark on the trailer, the light saber the PC is holding is an aqua colour is that the "Mantle of the Force"? if so then its quite different then the pict I posted above. Edit: Different pict but same colour as the one I mentioned thats in the trailer. -
Its already been stated that the PC will only be human. I forget which thread it was mentioned on but I think it was one of the weekend developer threads.

1up's Urquhart Feargus interview
Stargate: 2000 replied to funcroc's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
There is no Republic during the movies. I'm assuming he means set at the New Jedi Order novels which means it's set 25 years after the movies. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If Lucasarts has any shred of decency they will NOT create a game in that time period. <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> why not? -
White Saber discovered!!!
Stargate: 2000 replied to Darth Ravok's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
If you look at number 11 of the screenshots on the sith lords site you will see a saber that is either white or a very light blue. I think it could be the same saber that was used in the trailer. Edit: this is the pict i was talking about. -
Weapons you want to see in KOTOR 2
Stargate: 2000 replied to QalOrt's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I want to see a neutron bomb and armor that will allow you to use the force while wearing it. -
What's bigger Star Forge or Death Star
Stargate: 2000 replied to Darth Reven's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I never thought of that really but I guess you could be right on the fact of them being the same size. I just kinda figured that because it was mentioned that the death star was "the size of a small moon" that it would be the bigger of the two, But when I think of it, in the cut scene before you crash on the surface of the unknown world it looks to be almost the same size as the star below it so who knows maybe the star forge is the bigger. -
What's bigger Star Forge or Death Star
Stargate: 2000 replied to Darth Reven's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
are you meaning in overall size? or what? in size I would say the death star is the bigger of the two because it was suppost to be the size of a small moon. -
you want the game in dvd or in cds?
Stargate: 2000 replied to a topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
why not do a duel release? I mean then the people who wanted the dvd version would get and the people who couldn't afford a DVD drive could buy it on cd. -
do you have a link to this interveiw? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think he's correct. I could have sworn i read it in a magazine preview, either the PC Gamer one, or the Computer Gaming World one from like May. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> all I was meaning was I must have missed that interview and if he or someone else could provide the link to it I would like to read it. Thanks for the info GoA I will check there and see what I can find.

A few thoughts on new info...
Stargate: 2000 replied to Darth_Gandalf's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
on one hand it would suck, because we wouldn't know anything about it really. On the other it would be great because everything would be a new discovery. But then agian if I wanted everything to be a big discovery I wouldn't be on these boards now would I? but I guess its up to the marketing team as to what we hear so lets hope they are kind enough to atleast give us some more info before all of us go nuts. -
Lame Prestige Classes...
Stargate: 2000 replied to Grand_Commander13's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It might be a DnD term but this isn't a DnD game! So really they could make it 1level reg class and 99 prestige if they wanted. I don't see the problem with them balancing the two types of classes out (i.e. 15-20 of one and 15-20 of the other), that way you would be able to use more of the force powers and feats associated with the prestige class. I don't think it would take away from the game if they did that, if nothing it would maybe improve it for some people. I think they should have it set up similar to the way you became a jedi in KOTOR because making you have a set list of stats forces you to build the charactor the way they want not the way you want. -
Lame Prestige Classes...
Stargate: 2000 replied to Grand_Commander13's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
??? why couldn't the reg classes be for 15 or 20 levels and the presstige classes be another 15 or 20 levels? or even 8 levels of reg classes (like KOTOR) then the remainder as presstige class? -

White Saber discovered!!!
Stargate: 2000 replied to Darth Ravok's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
1) The real question is: What's the difference between white & silver colors? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 1) well one is white and the other is silver... no but really white would be white and the other will more than likely be a shinny grey. 2) what about yellow???? -
But you couldn't wear it because there is no amulet slot in KotOR! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> so what if there wasn't a ammulet spot in KOTOR it doesn't mean there couldn't be one in TSL <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe you should re-post this in the next Akari's next "Weekend"-thread. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> doesn't mean there couldn't been if the devs wanted to put it in, sure its not going to happen but hey maybe in KOTOR 3 when/if it happens

Too late for that now mind you so OH well.

White Saber discovered!!!
Stargate: 2000 replied to Darth Ravok's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
too be honest I think its yellow because if you advance the trailer frame by frame the tip kinda has a yellowish colour to it. there was another time just before the scene where that pict was taken from but when I slowed down the frames it looked kinda blue. though I could be wrong on both counts here. -

correction two new colours are white and silver. or in other words white and silver will both be in the game and are seperate colours. on topic: That pic is a horible fake!!! -
