White Saber discovered!!!
Stargate: 2000 replied to Darth Ravok's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
the last pict I posted was just to show the colour of a lightsaber I saw in the trailer, as for the privious pict I posted I very well could be from E3 but it was fairly close to the begining of the screenshots on the lucas KOTOR II site so I took it to be fairly new but I could be wrong there. -
Which class combination?
Stargate: 2000 replied to Darth Sun_Tzu's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
at first I was thinking of going Gaurdian/ Weapons Master but I think I am going to go Gaurdian/ Jedi Master that way you get the ability to fight and masive force points and maybe some really cool powers too. -
and why not? Anyone with a PC got the DLC first last time and the Xbox users had to wait for it to finally be released for us to use, But I didn't see anywhere in the first post where it is stated that there wont be DLC for PC as well when the game is released it just said that there would be XBox exclusive DLC.

Theories on the masked sith guy!
Stargate: 2000 replied to Stargate: 2000's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Darth Sion is actually a shaved wookiee. Cheers! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> hmmm..... could be..... but hey maybe he is a frankinstien (sp?), maybe he is a force ghost who came accross some blown up bodies and used his emense force powers to take those peices and bring them together to form a new body for himself. That could explain why he is so hard to kill because he is already dead. As for there ever being a wookie sith/jedi I think it would be interesting to see that, I mean they are strong and certainly not stupid so it could be to see a wookie sith lord or a wookie jedi weapons master. -

I don't mean to be an arse or anything but I must ask, if you and others don't want to know any theories right now then why visit this thread when there is others that are not about this subject? just curious thats all. -

I just hope its set before the never ending war, which would alow you to atleast meet a Vorlon or a Shadow. -

I'll second that I am curious how they are going to work and what the related force powers and feats are going to be for each class. -
Theories on the masked sith guy!

perhaps but to be honest who does it hurt when we speculate on the back story of the MSG? -
Theories on the masked sith guy!
Stargate: 2000 replied to Stargate: 2000's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It's just speculation-fever; no one's giving stark logical reasoning, we're just coming up with possibilities. Though an exact answer to your question is I believe that knowing how much Kotor was indebted to the Original Trilogy, speculation-makers are looking for more parallelisms -and what better theme than the Vader-Luke relationship to muse upon? Especially since it has been mentioned that the game will have a tESB-like feel to it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ok cool I was just wondering, and to be honest your reasoning does kinda make sense. But I would think it would be easier to draw that type of simatry with the PC and MSG rather than WHC and MSG. I was thinking of another theory for the MSG: Maybe he was a friend of the PC during the mandalorian war and when the PC returned to republic space after the war the MSG felt betrayed by the fact that the PC would turn his/her back on Revan and Malak in order to return to the outdated Jedi. While the PC was in exile for war crimes the MSG was trained by Revan and eventually took the title of sith lord of assassin's (saying he is an assassin). -
Theories on the masked sith guy!
Stargate: 2000 replied to Stargate: 2000's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I thought they may be connected by the fact that on the KotOR site, the pic of the MSG and the WHC, flashed from one to the other, and their faces are incredibly similar in shape and details. Take a look for yourself, whether the devs have hidden a secret clue there or I am just reading to much into it remains to be seen <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree that that is an odd thing to have without some type of meaning behind it, when I first saw it I thought that it was showing the fall/ redemtion of the PC. But then I found out the WHC was not the PC so that kinda ruled that out (not to mention the MSG is a guy). I agree that it could be possible that they could know one another since we have no info on either one of them yet. I do think its more possible that they don't know one another and that both the morphing pict and the wallpaper are just to represent the battle between the lightside and darkside as well as the possibility of the fall/redemption of all the party members. -

Stargate: 2000 replied to Stargate: 2000's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
There is one question that had plagued me since the first person mentioned it awhile ago, What made you think that the MSG is related or in someway connected to the WHC? I do realize that the only real pict we have of the MSG is taken with him battling the WHC on the wallpaper, but I don't necessarily belive that she would even know the person let alone have some type of connection to him. Its possible that (saying the wallper depicts a sceen in the game) they are just battling for one reason or another, who knows maybe the PC is taking care of the dark jedi just out of sight. I think it would be too much of a plot twist that he would have some type of connection to the WHC. -
Questions to Dev's - take 3
Stargate: 2000 replied to Hydrogen's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Hey Dev's I have a few questions that you might or might not be able to answer at this point in time. 1) Will we be able to upgrade the Ebon Hawk? (i.e. upgrade weapons, sheilds, etc.) 2) Will there be some lightside offensive powers this time around? 3) Will non-party NPCs react differently to you when your DS than LS? (I think this has been answered though I forget the answer that was given). 3b) will non-party NPCs react differently to you depending on the way your dressed (i.e. if your in your underwear will they refuse to talk to you or if your in DS rodes will they run with fear)? 4) Saying there is LS/ DS artifacts in the game will they be able to be upgraded? 5) will there be another way of getting around on a planet other than running? 6) How many different type of robes will there be? 7) any Idea what the system spec will be yet for KOTOR II? Will there be some speacial crystals be available at the time the game is released or will they have to be downloaded after like KOTOR? Thanks for your time and the info! -

I doubt you will get an answer to that question because I think it would fall along the lines of story/ press release info. -
Theories on the masked sith guy!
Stargate: 2000 replied to Stargate: 2000's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
very good ideas! the only problem I have is I doubt that Sion would be a "minor" sith lord, if nothing I would think he would be one of the stronger ones. -
I think they should have droped Juhani and allowed us to pick up Yathura as a party member instead. Or they could have given us the choice of killing juhani so Yathura could take her place (this idea I like best :D ) but since they didn't I guess there isn't much we can do other than maybe hope that they bring her back or have someone else like her to join our party.

Theories on the masked sith guy!
Stargate: 2000 replied to Stargate: 2000's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I agree that the MSG could be depentant on the way the PC answers the questions at the begining of the game, but that being said I don't think that it would be Bastila mainly because the only pict we have of him shows him with "man hands" thus kinda ruling out Bastila and anyother females we know or will meet during the game. -
Theories on the masked sith guy!
Stargate: 2000 replied to Stargate: 2000's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
This theory is one of the worst ones I've ever read. ok! so what is your theory? I have no problem with someone saying they don't like the theory, but I would also like them to atleast provide a reason as to why or an alternative theory as to who he is. I figured this theory would be the least liked out of the two But I figured that it was atleast worth mentioning since I felt that it would spure some other maybe less unlikeable theories as to who the masked sith guy is. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This one is pretty good. I'd like for him to be Revan, but I'm not holding my breath for it to happen. B) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Read the whole post. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I did read the whole post I was just asking for you and others who might say the theory about dustil being the MSG being a really BAD idea to atleast explain why they think so and to maybe post a theory of their own. I also think the idea of revan being the MSG is a bit of a long shot. Sorry about the confussion there and thanks for the compliments on the theory about revan. -
