Wrong. Bio did KOTOR and JE for consoles before ME. And this is were you go wrong, making up silly reasons why other people would like things more than you. That the "console crowd" likes ME because they haven't played better (read: PC) RPGs. Obviously hurlshot thinks ME is awesome because he has never played anything better, right? How much one enjoys a game/movie/book/whatever isn't dependent on whether they have first experienced some other, objectively better game/movie/book/whatever. I thought Fallout 3 was great, I guess this means I've never played the original two? Does the fact I have played them, and enjoyed them, make me the exception to the rule? No, because the rule is utter rubbish.

So, the game no longer features unlimited ammo?

Not liking something is all fine and dandy, but claiming to know why other people do like it, with explanations like this: is just ridiculous. If only krookie and hurlshot had experienced the same awesome storytelling as you, they'd be able to see how bad ME really is.

Separate game. "Project Redlime" is apparently an old franchise, and people seem to think it will either by Syndicate or System Shock.

That's like how angry people were about how buggy Titan Quest was when first released, but people were complaining about bugs that only existed when using a cracked exe.

You're not talking about the one made by Pandemic, right? I'd assume he is. It does look rather fantastic. Seems like they are going for a Chronicles of Riddick style that might work very well for the Dark Knight. Batman: Arkham Asylum is being developed by Rocksteady. The Pandemic game was cancelled before it was even announced.

"Good" and "interesting" are entirely a matter of opinion, and you're confusing "good design" with "stuff I like". To use a bit of CrashGirl wisdom, just because you like it, doesn't mean it's not crap. As for the objective truth, Oblivion doesn't have cliff racers, and is therefore the superior game.

It's hard to take your opinion seriously, but at least you actually played this particular pile of excrement. Keep on truckin', you crazy anti-fan. Many people like Oblivion, and that's one of the worst games ever made! And considering how inept Bethesda are, it's far more likely that FO3 is, in fact, a huge disaster.

Something that bothered me in the scene where Starbuck saved Lee, why did no one pull a gun on her? She shot that one guy, and then everyone just stands around like idiots while she shoots the next. Surely someone could have gotten the drop on her. Also didn't care for Adama shooting from the hip through the narrow gap.

I'm the same. I just can't support the death penalty due to corruption and error. There is no difference between the possibly guilty and the definitely guilty, and if the verdict is wrong, there needs to be a way to correct it.

Basically, yeah. Because it's not true that the game doesn't work, rather it's a case of it doesn't work well enough or it's not compatible with particular systems.

I loaded my save from the end of the game (save files for Live are in a different folder, but you can just copy them over) and my first achievement was for completing the game. Apparently cheating doesn't stop you from getting achievements either.

I downloaded the one from the Japanese marketplace last year. I was pretty excited, but it didn't slam me up against the wall and violate me in every way imaginable like RE4 did, instead I got groped and had my butt slapped. I didn't complete the first scenario, being totally swamped with enemies, and it wasn't interesting enough to bother with more than twice. Second scenario was better, but chainsaw guy took so many bullets to kill it was just annoying. I couldn't help but wonder how long Chris has been taking steroids. Dude was never that big. AND THOSE BASTARDS REMOVED THE AWESOME INVENTORY SYSTEM!!1

Awww, I thought hurlie was just making a joke. Actually hurlshot does kinda have a point regarding "spread misinformation and outright lie in the marketing/hype phase". I'm sure the filmmakers thought they did a good job, but his finding it atrocious doesn't make them liars. What is the deal with returning items that don't work? If I take a TV back to the store claiming it doesn't work, will they give me back my money just on my say so, or will they test it first? A PC game is likely to be incompatible rather than broken, and ultimately that isn't the stores problem.
