  1. No. It has to do with the 'third party' which was mentioned earlier which you were skeptical of. I'm not skeptical of third parties, I'm skeptical of third parties that aren't Human or Cylon. As for the Virtual Beings, perhaps they'll introduce the Beings of Light from the old series, and all this time they've been secretly watching over both humans and cylons, and the virtual beings are how they interfere. Perhaps they'll be aliens like in the original series, or perhaps they'll be an advanced group of humans or cylons. There is nothing to suggest that the Virtual Beings are obviously not human or cylon. Simply saying "aliens" doesn't make for interesting speculation. How did Kara survive? Aliens. How did the five get to the colonies? Aliens. As for the us versus them thing, there has never been one groups of humans versus one group of cylons. From the very beginning you have the Galactica leading civilians away from a war they've lost, and the Pegasus killing any civilians who stood in the way of their attempt to win the war. There have always been many different groups, making alliances or fighting amongst one another, human versus cylon, cylon versus cylon, human versus human. But there has never been anything to suggest there is some other group (or groups) out there that aren't either human or cylon. One theory regarding Earth, is that in their war between cylons and humans, it was the humans who lost and eventually came back and nuked the planet, and perhaps this group of humans is still out there. Or maybe aliens did it.
  2. The first series is based on the first book, but after that they part ways. Third book introduces horrible supernatural elements.
  3. Is that link supposed to have something to do with aliens?
  4. The demo for FEAR was awesome and I couldn't wait to play the full game. This demo was underwhelming, and has served only to lessen my interest in the final game.
  5. A gay man can appreciate an attractive woman, or something attractive about a woman, but if the dude is physically attracted to women then the dude ain't gay. Either he's a greedy bisexual, or he's just pretending to be gay so he can turn her into his ****-hag before he tries to convince her that she's so incredible that maybe she could turn him straight and maybe they should have some of the sexual intercourse to make sure he really is gay.
  6. Fisting. The key to a perfect marriage.
  7. by 8600 you mean an nvidia Geforce 8600? Mine didn't have a problem with Witcher EE. My old 8600 had trouble with that spot he mentioned, but was fine everywhere else. This was the regular version.
  8. Whether or not I'm man enough to eat such a manly meal?
  9. "Government shouldn't be involved in marriage" isn't an actual answer to "Should gay folk be allowed to marry?", because currently government is involved and that's not about to change, so such an answer is kinda avoiding the issue. If government got out of the marriage game, what would that mean? All current marriage licenses rendered null and void? I think millions of married couples might have something to say about that. I agree with this. Next we should debate whether gays should be allowed to eat. What if they ruin food for the rest of us? How will I be able to enjoy a quiche if it's also being eaten by... a gay!
  10. The lighthouse crib seems kinda pointless, being so out of the way. I had completely forgotten about it until your post. Also, I just recently completed all levels of all activities. Yay me. There's a few cool things to do on the prison island I completed the prison fight club wearing only a fedora and a pair of boots.

  12. Only the pistols had unlimited ammo.
  13. I'd kill all your mothers for a Vampire Requiem RPG.
  14. Why don't they need to bring it up? Because other peoples religious beliefs do affect them. This ad campaign isn't selling anything, it's promoting an idea, and is a response to a similar campaign. Ariane Sherine visited a website advertised on a bus that told her she was going to burn in hell for eternity. "Blimey, that's a bit harsh, what should I do about this? Oh bugger it, there probably isn't a god anyway, so I'm going to stop worrying and just enjoy life."* Of course the creators of the original site could respond with a new campaign: "There totally is a God and you'll burn in hell if you don't believe in Him!" And they'd be doing it for the same reasons the atheists did, as a response to a message they believe is wrong.
  15. So it's... something else!. Well, that's not very helpful.
  16. We agree! Lets be best friends forever! Whereas you, sir, have become my arch-nemesis. The only scary fanatics are the ones I have some sort of problem with! *shakes fist*
  17. I really don't see them introducing aliens at this point.
  18. Like what?
  19. Fanataics should scare everyone. I've seen some pretty scary fanatical theists recently. Thumping on about how atheism is the cause of all the World's ills, and should be ruthlessly stamped out...
  20. I'm really looking forward to The Sims 3, what with the whole open world thingy and the fact they've completely redone the rule system. Of course the real question is, will it still take a Sim an hour to take a leak?
  21. It would seem odd to me that anyone would decide not to buy a game they were otherwise interested in based on a Yahtzee review, though I suppose some might see his reviews as "keepin' it real" as opposed to the negativity being his schitck. One reason to read reviews is to justify your own preconceived opinion (I have decided this game is awesome/crap and this positive/negative review has proven me right), and if your opinion is that a game is bad it's pretty likely that a Yahtzee review is going to agree with you, even for the games he likes. I did no such thing. I was merely pointing out that perhaps the reason the game sold as well as it did, and the reason the publishers expected it to sell even more copies, is because your opinion that it is "crap" was wrong. Or perhaps it is you who has a poor understanding of the product. So far you've said nothing about the actual product, you merely continue to repeat that you've decided it's "crap". What do you even mean by that? What does the label "crap" mean? I don't like something about this product? I have no interest in this product? There is no value in this product? Everything about this product is poor quality? Something about this product is poor quality? I know what you're getting at, but is there something pleasant about a heart attack or a broken leg? Doesn't seem like a very good analogy. If a person walks out of the cinema before the movie they were watching has finished, I could come to the conclusion that they didn't like the film, but this doesn't tell me anything about the quality of the film itself, especially since the conclusion I've come to may be wrong, perhaps they had to leave for reasons unrelated to the movie. You can explain why you think it's crap, because explanation is what makes for interesting reading.
  22. SPOILS, obviously. I guess the human cylons on Earth hadn't yet reached the point where they forgot their origins. If Ellen is one of The Five, then what is Starbuck? And why was Callum Keith Rennie seemingly so afraid of her. Anders mentioned "2000 years ago", how long ago was it that the tribes left Kobol? My theory is that the machine cylons that wiped out the human cylons on earth eventually advanced to human form themselves and settled on Kobol. I thought it was nice to see Dee and Lee back together, and it was a shock to see what she did. I could understand it though. When the future of humanity and individuals is looking so grim, she decided to go out on a high note.
  23. I don't believe Monolith have the rights to NOLF. Of course they could always do a "Project Origin" and just make a NOLF-like game, but Contract JACK didn't go down well and I'd be surprised if they suddenly went back to that franchise after all this time.
