  1. If the graphics, driving physics and city of GTA4 had a baby with the customization, activities/diversions and awesome ridiculousness of Saint's Row 2, I'd be the happiest boy in the whole wide world.
  2. I don't want no elves 'n **** in my cyberpunk. Actually to be honest I'm be pretty friggin' happy with a Shadowrun RPG. Or some Cthulhu mythos. Or Walsingham's idea, turns out he's not completely useless, who'd have thought.
  3. There is no PS3 version of MGS, there is only MGS4. Your use of the word "version" doesn't make any sense. Sega CD. It's Snatcher.
  4. Oh, it's Krookie, I was worried he had been arrested.
  5. Swedish isn't a real language so it doesn't count.
  6. They sell single SMGs at Walmart?
  7. Rise of the Argonauts is out?
  8. Nick Fury is black in the Ultimates line, modeled after Sam Jackson.
  9. YOU dream of being in a Sci-Fi Channel Original, but sadly you're beneath their standards.
  10. HL was pretty fab back in the day, but I don't have any interest in it now. Duke Nukem 3D was much more influential in turning me into an FPS fan. HL2 was alright but didn't feel like much of a leap and bothered me in several ways. The silent hero thing is all fine and dandy in stuff like Doom where you're just a grunt following orders, and it worked in HL, but in HL2 it was all "Oh wow, Gordon Freeman? THE Gordon Freeman? This is so exciting, you're such a great hero to us all. Now run along and do exactly as I say errand boy." And why the hell does Alyx seem to have a romantic interest in a man without a personality, too rude to say a single word to her? Maybe they were going for "YOU are Gordon Freeman, so Alyx loves YOU" or something, but to me it just makes her pathetic. She belongs in a Sci-Fi Channel Original.
  11. ^You must have missed all the previous threads about DRM if you think CG is referring to you. That, or you're so vain, I'll bet you'll assume every post is about you, don't you? Don't you?
  12. The editor is out now. I dunno about you jerks, but I'm hanging out for a mod that has Moira offering a large selection of lingerie.
  13. Games in Australia have been this expensive for a long time (the first game I ever bought with my own money was Donkey Kong on SNES, and it was $80), so it's probably just general bitching about the situation here.
  14. Heh, I played ME on the 360, and the minigame was a simple simon says deal. I wouldn't say it was fun, but it was over quick enough that it was never annoying.
  15. Exactly the same for me. Let's be best friends forever!
  16. The "new to the game" line would seem to apply to ol' Mikeyboy, but really, no one would ever consider a shirt a costume that's hard to miss.
  17. My special places have been touched. In the dialogue screen, is the line at the bottom the previous line of dialogue, or is it what the suave choice gives you for the next?
  18. In the Hitman series running would cause suspicion, but they changed this for Blood Money so you can now happily run around anywhere.
  19. Is hacking in F3 ever required?
  20. Mutants and monsters and robots and dragons and whatever else, whatever form it takes, comics, movies or video games, it's all going to seem like nonsense to someone, but geeks telling other geeks to get a life is nothing but lame. This is the forum of a company that makes computer role playing games. I mean seriously, get a life losers. Anyway, AVG is freakin' out about that Hulk image in the first post for some reason.
  21. Apparently he wants to do another ZoE or Snatcher.
  22. So what is the Australian view of the Australian film "Australia", made by Australian director Baz Luhrman starring Australian actor Hugh Jackman and Australian/Hawaiian actress Nicole Kidman? It hasn't been out long enough yet, but even while in production it was seen as somewhat embarrassing and expected to flop. Reviews range from "It's okay but not the epic the Aussie film industry hoped for" to "Nicole Kidman and her stupid face ruin everything."
  23. In Australia, the majority view is that if a film is Australian it probably sucks, and "foreign" (not American/British) films are only good because you're more likely to see some nudity.
  24. Because whether or not something can be improved upon is entirely a matter of opinion. Also, one can want to retell a story without thinking the original needed improving.
