The spoilers here feel pretty. . .tame. There's a lot they're still not telling us that hasn't been mostly figured out. I know thi is a long shot, but maybe Malak and Bastie are force ghosts? I recall that Anakin was back to his lightside self at the end of ROTJ. In the OOT, I mean.

I think it is "genius".

It'd be dumb not to release KOTOR3 for PC. They'd loose probably 20-30% of profits. And even LucasArts wouldn't accept a bribe to loose potentially more money.

Who here has no problem with spoilers?
DesertHawk replied to ampulator00's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Mmm. Some spoilers are okay. Some are not. Spoilers that happen on the first planet are okay. Spoilers that happen halfway through the game are not. Yeah, birthday parties in general suck. -
Possible plot twists for TSL?
DesertHawk replied to Dark_Consular's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
<First paragraph removed due to warnings from the Dead Skin Mask, even though IE hates that SWF.> It <the plot twist> may be major or minor. I think they'll do a few minor ones that won't relate to the main story, considering that we know the bare-boned gist of it now. -
Unfortunetly the world is neither orderly or ideal. If the story is better than KOTOR1's, and if it is overall better, they will be honourbound to give it a higher rating. And the graphics are still more impressive than most games I play.

The only reason that people think that Anakin was strong is because of the illusion of strength that he had, his midichilorian count (which was never spoken of after Ep. 1. Instead of the force being something mystical and interesting, it becomes lame and silly.) and also the reason people thought he was tough. I mean, c'mon. Choking stormtroopers and admirals? The stormtroopers can't even shoot straight! Geez! Honestly, though, I think that Vader was the most powerful sith of his Era. The 40-50 umpthing years he lived. But he was, in his own way, a very silly sith lord.

Revan was a fine fighter, a quality that palpatine didn't have. S(he) was also great at strategy, a trait Anakin/Vader laked. (I mean, come on, running at Tyrannus? That's just plain stupid!)

I'm with you on that. Except for the visiting the NWN2 forum. I'd rather have a giant hairless monkey jump on me than be accosted by those in the NWN2 forum. The most I'll do is read the Xbox review, probably by skimming it.

So, who's going to get the game for the PC?
DesertHawk replied to ampulator00's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I don't have an X-box. I'll be waiting for the PC version like a good little gamer. -
What annoyed you about KOTOR's plot?
DesertHawk replied to Ivan the Terrible's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Heh. That's true. It's called "Getting to know a woman and not freaking her out". Alas, most men aren't that. . .persuasive. -
What's the last of the planets going to be?
DesertHawk replied to Darth_Gandalf's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yup. It certainly fits the three points: -Things aren't masked, except for a reason. -Things aren't shown, except for a reason. -Things aren't said, except for a reason. They obviously want our brains to melt over this. -
What's the last of the planets going to be?
DesertHawk replied to Darth_Gandalf's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Indeed. Considering the lack of party members, I'd say it's either a revelation or a confrontation. It also seems to me like his/her shuttle crashed. Poor exile. -

What's the last of the planets going to be?
DesertHawk replied to Darth_Gandalf's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I would suspect it would be the loosest form. Probably lots of underdoggin'. I think it'd be great to be a sith apprentice for a while, then strike down your master. Really adds to the roleplayin' part of the game. -

Hrm. I think everyone thinks that MSG is dark lord of the sith. . .except for me. Heck. We know more about him than we know about the sith lady. Hrm. Isn't MSG supposed to be a marauder? That means that Sion is an assassin, MSG marauder, and all that's left for the woman is Sith Lord. Hmmm. Anyways. It's got to be something interesting and cool. If those are the proper adjectives to describe such a mystery. -
Hey, subtract 11 and that's how many days till we can come back onto the forums! It's not like it's a long time. . .only, what. 1776 hours-ish or 1896 hours. Considering how many hours people watch TV, that's very little.
-
That means you get some of us for 11 days. Lucky, lucky you. Ah, well. Let me just see how long it is for we PC folk here. Today is the 24th. 6 days left in November. Plus 31. Plus 31. Plus 6-11. At least: 74 days. At most: 79. Oi vey! /me does the 200 posts dance.

DesertHawk replied to Ivan the Terrible's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Hades, with that avatar, nobody can take you seriously! Spoilers = bad. And yep, even saying that is a spoiler. Then again, so is saying that . We know that you're all horribly disappointed about that, too. -
Congrats, oh ye noble children of Obsidian!
DesertHawk replied to Ivan the Terrible's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Be strong! We're PCers, the fearsome and brave! We can take what puny temptations the Xboxers offer us! Do not submit! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh come on, just look at how cute they are. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Kssh! You are trying to pollute our minds! A PC can do more than an Xbox any day! Like. . .run internet explorer and, umm, pick up bugs! YEAH! If I had the money for an Xbox and if games were more patchable and if it had a keyboard and. . .and if it didn't shove money into an already rich man's pocket and if. . .if. . .yeah. *sniffles* My LCD monitor is cute, too! -
Will There Be A KOTOR 2 Collecters Edition?
DesertHawk replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
An Obsidian Entertainment sticker would be great. That'd go right on the side of my computer. Or I'd make a shrine to it. But if there isn't anything other than a t-shirt. . .Hmm. . .It would be pretty great to go to class in a KOTOR2 shirt. I hope we'll see a PC collector's edition if anything. With. . .extra content! -
Congrats, oh ye noble children of Obsidian!

Do not submit! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> *low creepy voice*...The power of the Dark Side... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I. . .Uhm. . .Ooooo. What is thy bidding, my master? Relax. We can leave the day before (the fifth). We still have plenty of time. And, of course, they could push the date back again. -

This means that it's about time for some of us to leave. Thanks, Obsidian. We're not worthy to bask in the glory of your first game. You guys have tolerated moaning, screaming, and hades. For that, you have earned the respect of thousands. *pins a little paper cut out medal on the devs shoulders* All we need now is to hand out some hearts. -
My computer would frequently, ah, "hiccup" when in combat, surrounded by muchos baddies and following the PC. However, when I turned the camera to the side, it gave me less trouble. I just hope it'll run better on my computer. This time around.
