  1. Dark Lady of the Sith, personally for DS. I figure something like Consular/Lord or Consular/weapons master or consular/shrubbery. Mmm. Consular. I hope sentinels didn't get screwed over this time!
  2. I'd like to see something mysterious. Perhaps the classic Star Wars parade for LS, but with a twist - like a sith in the background acknowledging you as a worthy foe. For DS, I'd like my evil person naming thingie, with a lot of names depending on what you did throughout the game.
  3. Jumping. Though it will never happen, it's a good wish. Better masks and helms, certainly. A dog named dogmeat. Good character past, perhaps the ability to choose your background a la arcanum. Toned down ram requirement, the first game stuttered even though I've got 508, not 512. A face maker for double the fun! Modding utilities for clothes. That'd make quite a few people happy. The ability to choose your first saber colour, not based off of class or anything. (Like if you were to say my first saber colour was pink, you get pink!) A giant badger to hand out donuts in the Ebon Hawk!
  4. Mmm. The casing slot would mean we'd have more handles!
  5. Kssh. Romour has it that the "Human homeworld" is a little place mostly inhabbited by six-legged creatures who care not for the petty "politics" of the sadly backwards humans who inhabit it. The humans call this place "Earth" and have in the past worshipped it like a god, but to this day are trying to destroy it. Humans. Backwards little bipeds.
  6. This is the wrong forum for this question. You will only be able to play as human. A zabrak can join your party, however.
  7. If I remember correctly, there are dialog files that show that the idea of having something speeder-like was once in, but got cut. Master speed more than makes up for it.
  8. Mmm. Sounds like we're either discussing wearing your battery pack for your transmitter/reciever for those guys to feed you lines with under your suit, or your bullet-proof vest. . .Or both! Ahem. Sorry. While changing your look would be a nice touch, KOTOR 2 doesn't really need it because there's nobody else to look like.
  9. Nice idea. I think everyone pretty much assumed that dex was just for blaster wussies.
  10. An msg figurine would be pretty cool. I used to collect SW figurines when I was little. I had a rubber luke, and he somehow got into the washing machine. He never quite looked the same, and his lightsaber looks quite limp now. I collect figurines. Or random things. From cons. It'd be nice to have a KOTOR one to add to the collection.
  11. About 6 years ago I read about the Shadow jedi, a group of jedi who were working for the empire or somesuch that didn't belong to the extremes or could go back and fourth at their leisure. I thought this very cool. Looks like Lucas decided on extremes, though. Pity.
  12. I kinda like your idea, I kinda not. It's similar to the system that a few of the Star Wars MUDS on the net have implimented. Jedi can only use all ls powers and basic darkside powers at the risk of being corrupted. Sith can use all ds powers and some ls powers at the risk of being attacked by a giant kitten.
  13. They use the force for noble acts. They use the force for what THEY interpret as noble acts. You can still do something "good" but have a bad effect, and the other way around. Jedi Styles and somesuch (Where's mah scorpian style?)
  14. I was thinking about this a while back. Yea, the sentinal does look like a good choice for KOTOR2. However. . . In the first game, multiclassing wasn't excatly for Soldier/Guardian or Scoundrel/Consular. You were supposed to combine them, and I suddenly found myself really disliking the idea of, you know, only being able to play a jedi. Hey, I could be a nasty persuading guardian in the first game, or a buffed up consular (mmm. . . .armour + consular + lotsa weapon feats for sabers. . . = creamy goodness!) And then I realized what the priestage classes are for. Specialization, baby. Want to have even more force powers? Beat even more blood outta that meatbag? You've come to the right place. For all your lightside and darkside needs. . .Whoops! No shadowsiders allowed. Consular + Jedi combat master = cheesy goodness
  15. I have about 300 green sabers in my inventory. And 20 blue, 10 red. . .etc. <_< Colour doesn't quite help. Having a "personalized" lightsaber, though. . .One that had your name on it. . .that'd rock. And considering the fact that we will be able to locate "our" saber, I think it will rock. B) All we need is it to be moddable. And have our names on it. "Mr Furryface's lightsaber - purple and doublebladed" "Atton Rands lightsaber - small and bright pink. "
  16. I kinda didn't mind the petty thief thing, honestly. That's what most "evil" people are. Cowards. I think it'd be highly cool, though, to be able to play an honourable evil character. Not like MUHAHAHA! I AM EVIL BECAUSE I CAN! But something like, "I'm doing this because it's what I believe in and it makes sense." KOTOR 1 had the first point. I'm hoping KOTOR 2 doesn't repeat that, because hey, when you have a cause it doesn't matter whose side you're on.
  17. Excellent cover. Draws your eye to Sith-Boy and the planitary eclipse-ish thing. Done by a very skilled graphics designer, I'd say. Though the empty space on the upper right seems a bit wrong to me. Mmm. Finally something new to talk to for a few days and then old news! [Edit] I see Atris in the background, and Darth Scion in the foreground. HK and T3 are both present, as is the ebon hawk. There appear to be some figures in middle right. Atris seems to be making a violent leap at a ninja-ish figure. Analyze, anyone? What do you all see?
  18. No. KOTOR is a single player RPG. If we had multiplayer, it would take away from the roleplaying. Plus, we'd have blue haired people. Who wants blue haired folks? Lavender? And the faces aren't too customizeable. If you want Star Wars duels, play Jedi Outcast or Jedi Academy. If you want multiplayer, go play SWG. Geez.
  19. I think that if they did them they'd be unlockable end of the game items, gotten through cheat codes, or gotten whenever you watched the credits. Obsidian seems relatively determined to make TSL a serious SW game. Huzzah!
  20. "(a similar process is used in experimental fusion reactors...lol the size of the machines needed and the power required is ummm...will never fit in something the size of a maglite flashlight...)" And back in the 1950's people were saying that microchips were impossibilities. We're living science fiction.
  21. I'd love to see an Uru-esque creation system, or at least an editor and importer made after release. Like the Sims 2 body shoppe.
  22. 14YOBS? <_< Hope Feargus changes it. Into something funny and embarassing. And, er, welcome to the forums?
  23. I fence saber and foil. Epee is too heavy for my weak female arms. <_< While you can slash in saber, sometimes it's better to thrust. Besides, if you wanted a shashing weapon, you'd have something more like a broadsword. Saber is cavalry, so of course you'd be slashing a bit. However, you wouldn't want to overdo it too much. You have to be able to recover from a slash and pull back if you don't make it. Lunges. They work wonders. Covering a large amount of distance in a quick amount of time. Fleches. I may be wrong with spelling. They're great, too. Eh. Back on topic. Lightsabers are straight. Katanas are slightly curved, if I recall. If a Jedi was to lunge more, they'd probably win a lot more battles. A good lunge can be hard to counter.
  24. Wrong, but you'll have to read a few threads to figure out why, I'm tired of explaining <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Akari said somewhere that Febuary '05 was what they were shooting for origionally, and he said nothing has changed. LucasArts just decided that they could massproduce USA Xbox KOTOR2 discs, maybe, or maybe KOTOR2 has been going well, we don't know. We do know that they're still working on the game. Adding languages. Febuary 2005 was the release date if you'd read game sites from about a month or two back. Moving up a release date does not mean that the other version is delayed - a delay in a game is something along the lines of a Half-Life 2 delay, or a Doom 3 delay or a Warcraft 3 delay. . .Et cetera. That means that the date has been moved back from the origional date. That is not the case with KOTOR 2. A question for the arteests: What does the basic "clothing" look like now? Will we get something along the lines of Bastila's surcoat from k1? Or will we get more klunky unpleasant to the eyes outfits? (The soldier outfit. The only nice thing about that was the dagger strapped to your leg. Mmm, dagger.)
