Jedi with swords and red socks! Thanks carth vader. As the weeks go on, we'll most likely get stories that relate more and more to KOTOR 2. Unless, of course, all of this is a subtle hint on the theme of KOTOR2.

It's basically a story about these jolly old sith lords and their jolly old jedi counterparts. It's nice if you haven't read all the EU stories. I imagine that they'll get jucier and jucier as the weeks go on. I think the writing is fine. May have some extra stuffins in there even if you have read the EU stories. I'm a student as well. Currently studying the average classes for a. . .person of my age, as well as doing music (singing, violin) and doing some Graphics Design. I haven't held a paying job yet, but probably will this summer at one of the resturants in my town - Uhgh. They'll probably make me a waitress. How demeaning. I plan on stdying either english, psychology, art or one of the game related things that have around here. The Midwest = haven for learning computer game work.

The hostility towards PC users makes me sad. I liked the initial discussion, but I think this thread now needs to be shut down. <_<

I'm one of those people who considers her characters to all be an extension of herself. Bastilia always made a very convincing argument for the dark side. Just as how I thought that Mr. Mummy Guy in SoU made an interesting case for joining his evil folks of dooooom. I guess it's just the human part of me being tempted by power. Last time I played a total run through of KOTOR Malak said something along the lines of "You call yourself a Jedi, but you still use anger and hatred." I guess that means I'm pretty darn neutral. After that encounter I couldn't even use my Star Forge Robes. :">

It's a long, sad, story. Suffice to say, however, that US is the biggest market. Christmas is when games sell the most. More people have consoles than capable PCs (or the PC owners are not all gamers). I know that the international version also has to be dubbed. <_< If I'm not spending money on my relatives, I'll probably use my target giftcards (I get like. . .25$-50$ every year) and leftover cash from buying gifts (and that extra bit I save up from lunch every day!) to buy my copy of K2. Games through self starvation. What fun.

I doubt it. The KOTOR fanbase seems to be mostly male, and most of the women are into playing men. <_< COWARDS!

The boards feel so slow today. "Knights of the old republic" doesn't refer to Revan. Heck. It doesn't even have to refer to Jedi. We have Sith Knights and Jedi Knights. And our companions? They're "knights" in a fantasy term - Upholders of justice and chivalry or the black knight who comes to kidnap Sir Gwaine. I imagine that "Revan" will be put in proportion to the PC. Besides. Candy says at a time that Revan was a "brilliant tactician" and Malak says "strong in the force". Revan doesn't have to be a good fighter. She just has to be able to command armies, think on her feet, and realize what can work to her advantage. That's a strength in itself (though it wasn't shown well in K1). Think in proportion, people. Level cap of 20. Supposed level cap of 30. Revan = Major badarse darklord or Awesomely powerful Jedi OR "Jedi" who follows the jedi code but actually feeds off of her anger and hatred :"> . New Protagonist = Character who grows to X level. Good or bad. Chooses what she's good in. Can go up to X levels. To keep it in proportion, Revan would have to be brought up to X level. Considering that she's got mucho power by the end of K1. Oh, yeah. Here's a little thing we gamers forget: You may be uber-jedi or uber-sith, but an ambush can still do you in. As can HORDES and HORDES or enemies. Just like in real life. Edit: Geez, I need a smilie limit.

I believe the Jedi amnesiac part is just IGN trying to have the same information that was posted by another site and was wrong! Mmm. My drool is light green, just like my saber.
