  1. But... is there Muhammad as playable character? xDThe devs said they wouldn't feature Muhammad as his ideals are against the religious beliefs that of the developers. Ironic? I think not but I guess someone out there will think so. I don't want to pick on anyone, but I could only handle 2 minutes of this video and had to turn it off. I know there's been spots in games that I made look harder than they were, but damn...............I play better than that when I'm drunk and the room is spinning...
  2. It's photon torpedo in Star Trek and proton torpedo in Star Wars. Oh my, oh dear... https://youtu.be/PuCWfbLyXgQ
  3. While I understand the fear and anxiety you guys are having, you guys reminded me of this:
  4. Picked up a little game called Invisigun Heroes, it's basically a Bomberman for smart people.

  6. Also, the pastor Joel Olsteen not taking in victims of Hurricane Harvey seems to be blown out of proportion. While it may seem cruel to the untrained eye, the rest of us know that it would have been far more dangerous for them in that barricaded and fortified stadium than a small capitalized shelter... but that's a whole other issue altogether. There's alot of morons out there who assume prior to investigating the purpose of cause and affect which is why they felt dumb after learning about why a stadium structure is bad both for and against flooding.
  7. I live in Texas, but too north for the flood to affect where I am. As a Texan, although I do feel for the victims (who doesn't), I also realize that we all knew this came with the territory. If you don't want floods, winterstorms, tornados, tsunamis or mudslides, I'd recommend going to Michigan/Ohio. Nothing ever happens there as it's surrounded by lands or lakes so the temps are more collective and as such no risk for anything really. Just a reminder, there was a flood on the other side of Texas last year, which was even worse. Does anyone remember? That being sais, these floods are expected. Strange that our state is never prepared. Something's gotta give. I'm glad I live a bit north (not giving out my exact location here of course). All in all, it's being handled alot better this year with Trump on the committee than it was when Obama was on the committee, albeit being made a much larger deal to attract more drama.
  8. So... just curious, is everyone here on the Trump-hate wagon? And what if he got impeached and you got someone worse? I know you can say that's impossible but you've been wrong before. Anyways, was just wondering as I chill with my wanton lass
  9. The new turn-based Battlestar Galactica rpg looks really amazing. I'm interested.
  10. Sonic Forces pre-purchase is available for $39.99 http://m.gamestop.com/product/ps4/games/sonic-forces-bonus-edition/153008
  11. (Bethesda Fallout games) -The problem is that the main story/goal/quest in all Falloiut games revolves around a simple retrieval of some sort and what really interests the player is the side-quests. It's clear that both Fallout and The Elder Scrolls are like the CoD and Battlefield of rpg's. I'm here to say what nobody else wants to. For the sake of Fallout and Elder Scrolls keeping the Rpg genre popular and robust, nobody wants to talk about these truths. -Fallout 3 = Locate your dad -Fallout New Vegas = Locate a chip -Fallout 4 = Locate your baby What would I change and why would it be succesful? I have a few ideas. First I would make a more meaningful storyline. One mistake that all 3 games have made is not having a richness or deepness of attachment to its characters which are induced into the main plot. Sure you have rich and deep stories for the side-characters such as the brotherhood of steel, fallafel resistance, etc. but that's not what the focus should be on. -Having a true backstory. I would add a backstory to the main character, not just flashbacks which just feel forced but an actual useful backstory with info. Tugging at the players feelings and emotion. -Why not have a credible monent in Fallout that is comparable to something like we've seen in Life Is Strange, a more mature and relatable story to the Fallout games would certainly be welcome. Instead, there seems to be lack of well written stories in the 3 newest Fallout games even if the characters are lively. The games are in lack. Imagine something like: *Opening scene: A parent and a child watching television, laughing, joyous.* *Suddenly a shadowy organization breaks in, shoots your child point blank while you are in the basement, the shadowy organization mistook your neighborhood for another for being infected with a virus that turns people into mutants.* *Because the secret organization missed the target, the virus has plagued the earth and thus was nuked* *Fast forward 25 years* *You have been isolated and in suspended animation, you are now living in an underground facility in you awaken which combative assailants take in and train people who are vulnerable and need a purpose* "War... War never changes... but this war is in my soul" "They took my son/daughter they killed son/her." "There will be no more war when I'm done with them." And thus, no more finding someone or locating an item. Your sole purpose is revenge. Any side-quest completed rewards you with something to piece together about the secret organization who you are plotting to take down. HA! Good Fun!
  12. I think you mean controller, not tv But alas, good to know you are happy with the finished product and enjoying it. It's nice to see a new fan who appreciates Obsidian and Pillars Of Eternity. You're welcome here anytime mate. Hoping you will be part of our backing brigade when the next Obsidian fundraiser appears! Join us. HA! Good Fun!
  13. D&D Lords Of Waterdeep... Nothing new here, another poorly made D&D game. This time being an extension of a board-game. Online multiplayer but nobody ever on lol You know the drill by now
  14. Ohhh I thought you were talking about the narrator's accent lol I agree, looks good. Adventurous, almost a Spelunky vibe. Never played the first.
  15. That's pretty damn creepy. "A first of its kinda game... agay-anne"
  16. If you mean like the pinatas in games such as Fortnite, this is almost strictly for free-2-play games that happen to be multiplayer. Either way, it's a horrible gambling systems that people sink money into to get a 0 return 90% of the time. It's worse than paying for cosmetic dlc's. And there there is the mobile market where many single player games have these kinds of systems. There are so many games that have both a decent single player and multiplayer experience but neither are great. If only they had put 5 or 10% more resources in one or the other then it would have been great at launch instead of patching later to am upset community. But to add even more to what I was saying earlier... There aren't games that have both great single player and multiplayer simply because the passion is shifted and prioritized towards one or the other. There's really no such thing as a game that was made to take advantage of both single player and multiplayer equally - some people tell themselves that there are but it simply isn't true. The task of "Let's make the ultimate single-player and multiplayer game" is too big for even the largest AAA team to tackle. Sometimes tacking on mp to a single player is just as useless as adding VR support. People who want it will swear to devs that it will raise their sales but this has never proven to be true. However, when independent devs do this they usually lose respect of dedicated fans, can't really blame them. As an RPG enthusiast, I don't feel like playing single player games robs me of any experience or joy that comes with a human being. And there are more single player rpg's that are single player than multiplayer and for good reason. Story and the control over it is much easier for devs if the game is single player. Divinity Original Sin 2 is the only mp rpg structure that I have seen which features a fair and intelligent sharing script system for players with friends. I have alot of friends who play multiplayer rpg's that I own but I'd much rather play alone. If we are talking general rpg's, the most rpg's ever made are by far single player, the most active rpg's today are still single player games (I see a pattern here). Now... FPS on the other hand.. its just the opposite, that's where the vast majority are now multiplayer based and this is thanks to Call Of Duty and now the more recent Overwatch. People like me don't want added features but more content, story to fill on plot holes even if I have to pay money. There's alot of people like me out there. HA! Good Fun!
  17. Imma huge fan of LIS but waiting wil all the episodes are out.. I am not patient when t comes to these types of games.
  18. I can't imagine how good a CoD would actually be if they put all their money and resources into a single player only experience. Same goes for Titanfall and even Blizzard games. Thing is, although that would make for amazing games, the community would boycott the games for not having multiplayer (this is the false sense of entitlment of the community), not knowing how to seperate two products and such is the cost of our consumer ethics. Anyways that's just a bit of insight from yours truly. HA! Good Fun!
  19. I love when games have memorable characters of the opposite sex. I'm not talking about sexy or provacative but just a personality which makes me attached to the character and actually care for them. Life Is Strange, the newer Tomb Raiders and The Witcher 3's Ciri are great examples. Not sure why but I love to see how writers develop characters. It's been evolving. Characters are much better written now in games than in generations before thanks to the new wave of technology, methods and new techniques making characters more relatable. It also helps that we are modern enough to where our female characters do not look like mid-hormonal trannys (no offense to any transformer/transgender that may read this). I like when some female character reminds me of a video game characger reminds ex-girlfriend. Which makes that character easier to relate to and care for. That's another reason why I do not mind when developers force me to play as a female character. Not that I ever had a problem with it to begin with. HA! Good Fun!
  20. I prefer single player for almost everything. Very rarely do I feel the need to play with another human being whether it's co-op or competitive. My reason for gaming is and will always be for the story writing and the characters. Such things are best done with single player. Howerver, we're at the age of gaming in which the community is spoiled and wants multiplayer tacked onto everything. Even if it doesn't belong. Does multiplayer really help sales? That's the myth and has been proven wrong time and time again. If that were the case then single player games like The Witcher, Uncharted, etc wouldn't always topple the charts more than any multiplayer game out there. That's my input. HA! Good Fun!
  21. If I may, I don't think that will ever happen. Republicans will be around for as long as Democratics. Even if it was legally removed and banned by the council in courtus by legislative act, Republicans would still exists as a resistance of some sort. Republicans now seem to be stronger than they were 10 years ago. Even with all the Trump festerings and criticisms, Republicans seem to be in a good place but like anything else, if people only focus on the bad or hear the bad, then the bad is all they will see and share which is what I reckon these old eyes have been witnessing from the news. Either way though I'm not a republican. Just thought I'd say my piece. Sorry for interupting.
  22. Yeah. Nvm, wrong place lol
