I agree. I really love unique, crazy looking armors. Hopefully we'll get some pretty cool lively stuff this time around. Some of my favorite armors were the ones in Divinity II: Ego Draconis, just so cool looking. I also loved Barik's armor in Tyranny and the lore behind it.

Personally I don't think that not finishing the first game denies you any right for input on the second game... at least you played it. Even though Deadfire is a direct sequel in story, tons of both small and big things will be changed. Even mechanically. So I suppose it would be more important to do research on the changes than play the first game - unless one is criticising the story, of course.

Forgive me... I guess I've been playing too much Gauntlet lately. It's easy for me to forget people have different preferences of how to play the game vs how the game was designed to play. I think that's why PoE is so good, it has alot of freedoms that other games may not have.

And after all these years, Kotor 2 is still one of my favorite rpg games period. I found everything in the game to be easily accessible for the player and super balanced. Pretty cool game! Also, now that it's on Steam with controller support and the resored content mod, it should be replayed

I don't think The Witcher series naturally grew. Barely anyone played the first, only a handful played the second. When the 3rd was shown off at E3, it got a public buzz and alot of hype. The first game was terrible, the second game was just okay but some parts - like the invisible walls and children speaking with adult voices. The Witcher 3 is nearly a perfect action rpg though, it seems to me that CD Projekt Red got lucky, because The Witcher 1 and 2 were less than average. Of course, I own all 3 and have completed each of them more than once. Do I think that PoE has the chance to become as big? Hmmm... maybe. The thing is that alot of people don't like real-time with pause games anymore, they would rather play something a bit more "accessible" and in your face like but then, Crpg's seem to be coming back in a big way so it might generate some waves of love for PoE in the future, years after the rest of us have already played the games.

I think I saw your comment on the Steam forum, looks like Paradox are the ones who made the decision to have coupons for their store (Steam coupons would have been likely more difficult to attain so they went the easy way), I don't think it's Obsidian's fault. Shame that people from other countries will still have to pay more than buying it off of Steam at full price... and really weird! I guess I should just be thankful that I live in the US since that's where the best sales/prices usually go.

1 healer/magic, 1 close range tanker and brutus, 1 far range that also specializes in stealth. Really all you need realistically.

Cool, as soon as they confirm the refund I'll back with the other card, no biggie. Just hope it doesn't become an issue.

I'm very confused because I was told that I could downgrade to a lower tier and add an add-on to make up for the original amount. Looks like I will be requesting a refund just to re-back. Why is this so confusing? :-/

I hate to say it because I really loved being a part of the backers for this project. I was told I could downgrade to put an add-on in its place but seems that this is not the case. The backer portal is very confusing for me (it's the first time I back a game so forgive my ignorance). Keep in mind that I've been on my phone all this time. I am going to issue a refund so that I can re-back the project if that makes sense. So guys help me, how do I go about issuing/requesting a refund from Obsidian to go about doing this?
