  1. I just looked up Fighting Vipers lol Pretty cool stuff. Reminds me of Criticom and Battle Arena Toshinden!
  2. Ohhhh. Good to know lol Thank you!
  3. I really like the look of it. I think it's nice to see games with low poly modeling. This generation focuses too much - wayyyy too much on photorealism and not on gameplay (I'm looking at you Sony!) I'd rather play this than a good portion of modern racers, how Need For Speed and Gran Turusmo have fallen. And we have the horrible racers that are called Driveclub and Assetto Corsa... etc etc. The only racer to enlighten me lately is Forza Horizon 2 but I'm going to wishlist this new "Racing Apex" as it tickles me fancy! Thank you.
  4. I'd say scour the net a comparison article that explains every tidbit of difference (if there isn't already a YouTube video explaining it)... this way you know exactly what you'd be getting.
  5. I've finished the base game a couple times... maybe 3? And even though I've nade different choices for all playthroughs, I have gotten the same ending. I haven't played either of the dlc though so maybe I should do that to get some variety. *I could stare at the rivian sunrise all day*
  6. I have it but I have to admit I'm blown away by the graphics and nothing more than that. Every Sony exclusive seems to blow me away graphically but stays safe gameplay wise and mechanically. With that said, my favorite PS4 game is still The Order 1886 lol Despite its shallow gameplay and 24fps cinematic wonder, it still sports the best setting and graphics I've seen in a game. Anyways, my biggest question is who will win more VGA awards? Horizon or Zelda? I keep having to pinch myself to remind myself that it's still only the beginning of the year and I need french fry.
  7. Anything new on Ace Combat 7? I've always been a fan of Ace series, even when theywere called Air Combat instead. The new gane seens to have a hint of anime which seems interesting.
  8. How could I forget.... Clayfighter!!!!
  9. Interesting. Guess it's time to dig in. I've had it installed for months, it's time to unleash the fury!
  10. Mad Max was awesome. Vastly overlooked just because it released on the same day as The Phantom Pain, yet I prefer it more. And I like most of Ubisofts games. Rayman games are still my jam after 20 years? Lol
  11. If I don't use my coupon by the middle of May, I'll gladly donate it.
  12. It really wasn't as many as people are making it out to be. Spamming doesn't have anything to do with recalling threads, it's only the community who will try to make something appear as it's not. There is no problem here except the one that people have created for themselves. There's no harm being done, yet people were offended and made an issue out of something that wasn't. I can imagine friends of friends messaging each other, having conversations about reporting my posts/profile for necroing but there's no sensibility in that. Actually, I'd like to put everyone's mind to rest since this has become an exaggerated issue, that it won't happen again. I never knew the community was this sensitive. I know it's a different forum but I necro even more on Steam when I use the search function for something specific in a game hub and have yet to get a complaint.
  13. You should still get punished severely for necroing so many threads.I know because that's so offensive right? Not much else to complain about on these forums (as they are well moderated) so I can see the need to punish somebody for nothing I should add that I noticed just how many people checked out my profile after reporting me, if you must know the moderator messaged me and told me there were a few conplaints. Reminding me how the community will get butthurt out of nothing and complain about every little thing they don't like but I'm thankful this forum has great mods. If I was spamming or insulting I could understand where people are coming from but necroing isn't a crime, nor is it againat the rules. Most people don't mind and some have commented that they were glad to see the posts again. Hopefully everyone who got their feelings hurt by me commenting on old posts can move on now since nothing is going to happen and it's all blown over.
  14. It was a great Valentine's Day video! I always love that it opens with "I said relationships... it's probably a bit more broad than you were thinking. I think it would be better if I talked to you about it over there" ditching the romantic picnic and emulating the feeling of shooting down the watcher from a budding romance. It's almost as if Josh is saying "Don't be creepy now" or perhaps "Hold those hormones" lol
  15. You guys are really making me want to delve into Mass Effect 2.... I love space pigs, interstellar travel and rpg's... sometimes I question myself to why I still haven't played it. No, seriously I question myself - as in talking to myself out loud. Is it as good as Kotor 1&2? You can be honest, I can take it!
  16. The launch version of PS3 and generally the fat versions did overheat a lot. It's actually pretty interesting that it has managed to work this long. You should buy a new PS3 pronto since they just went out of production last month. Mine is still working but I'll buy a spare one next month since I still play a lot of games on it. Tip: try to find a slim version instead of the 500 GB super slim. The super slim has a weird disc tray and it can be bothersome. The best one is the one I have, it has the slide open tray. You don't have to worry about it breaking and it's easy to clean I have never heard of PS3's overheating until now. All my family and relatives still have their fat PS3's working, including me. Strange.... must have been a very small percent. I'm going to look into it just for curiosity.
  17. Uggghhh.. that sucks! I'm sorry to hear that, frustrating..I have 2 models, the original "fat" PS3 40gb which has lasted since the time it released and then a White 500gb Slim model. I cant that I have had any issues with them yet. Circuit City! The good ole days lol
  18. In retrospective, Crpg's died off... they were replaced with third person action rpg's like Fable, and things like that. Just a few years ago, Crpg's was suddenly resurrected through things like kickstarter. The genre is in hot water though (yes even now) as it only appeals to a small audience. We have a bunch being made and released on Steam, most only sell a few hundred copies if that... well until they reach a massive sale but we all know that when people buy games on massive sales, they go to the backlog lol I know, I know, someone is bound to come here and tell me I'm wrong, that Crpg audience has been steadily growing and blah blah blah but if we geabbed a bunch of pc gamers and places them in a room, the vast majority wouldn't know what a Crpg is, realistically. Still, it's great to see companies like Obsidian and Larian have such a huge comeback through crowd-funding. Better through a small audience than not at all, right? :D I'm buying all the Crpg's that I can to support the genre, same with 2D fighters that are being localized. Unfortunately I was not able to back PoE1 at the time but I made it for Deadfire!
  19. That's really strange, never heard of them doing that. Did you look up online to see if others are having similar issues? PS3's are made up of really nice hardware, cell tech is awesome... a failed awesomeness but awesome nonetheless. PS3's are like the deloreans of consoles as far as I'm concerned although my favorite console was probably the 2001 Xbox
  20. I have Skullgirls on Steam. I forgot to list that one. It's a pretty cool game. I love Valentine! I ended up working best with Painwheel and Pea****. Pea****'s moves are pretty hilarious, sometimes I'd find myself watching the animation rather than playing the game. Oops! Lol I love animations on 2D fighters as well. Especially sprites. I find they're far more fluid than the best 3D motion capture animations which lack a certain something.
  21. It's hard to say at this point... I think the gaming community has been misguided when using the term "Love" and "Romance". The gaming community seems to be the only community that cannot tell the difference of love and a brief sexual emcounter. Josh Sawyer answered the question "Will there be romances in the game?" On his Tumblr page. And he answered back with something close to "Every companion will be able to be romanced" (not his exact words so don't quote me but close enough). Here's the thing, I know Josh Sawyer is the kind of person who is likely to relate love to friendship and family and romance to mystery rather than love. He tends to think against the grain and that reasoning is because like I said before, this generation of gamers cannot tell the difference of love for friends and sexual love. They'll automatically relate the word roamance in a game to the inage of a 10 second cut-scene with nudity and some cheesey dialogue options like"We'll bang okay?" Thanks to Bioware's horrid romance shaping in the industry and Visual Novels being played by hormone-raging teens. My opinion: it's not going to be the type of romance that most people think. It's going to be the type of romance that MAKES people think.... because that's what Josh Sawyer does. I hope that Obsidian shows players that love should never be put in a box, nor should it be mocked and made lightly of. The youth are being confused by the media as it is and Obsidian can take advantage of creating some great story here which shatters the usual Bioware stereotypes of love in modern games.
  22. I'm curious to if there will be trade ports... If so, makes me think that Obsidian may be taking some cues from Sid Meiers' Pirates, I'm sure I'm not the first to say it lol
  23. I'm hoping for full-sized vessels as well, something along the lines of The Black Pearl or the Matflower? Of course it would probably be hard to attain one but still...
  24. Looks like you guys are gonna make it Looks like this actually has a chance to happen!!! VERY COOL
