Uhhhh... guys, the PS4 Pro doesn't play 4k blu-ray or UHDBD, it just plays normal blu-ray discs and upscales them. The only console that plays native 4k blu-ray discs is the Xbox One (S model).

Clive Barkers Undying, the original Rayman, Spider (it was a ps1 exclusive, a remaster would be nice on pc), Gex series.

Last night I got about 5 hours of gaming, which is alot for me. I put some time in Brigador, Not A Hero and Neon Chrome. All great indie titles which I should be playing more. Unfortunately... life happens

I used to love Serious Sam, I guess I've gotten tired of the horde-FPS genre. However, Painkiller series comes to mind.... Also the new Shadow Warrior games.

You're absolutely right!

Part of me feels the same way, another part, however, says to give them that time to create something special. I loved parts of Falliut 4 but really hated other parts. What is supposedly a non-linear rpg felt like the most linear open world action game I've ever played.... I'm hoping they don't butcher Elder Scrolls, Berhesda has been somewhat questionable lately, Doom was phenomenal but Skyrim and Fallout 4 were just "meh." In my opinion. Of course I'm talking without mods though.

This is another game I'm very excited about... people are saying it's coming out in April but I'm not so sure. Could be May or June, developer is a bit quiet aboit stuff. Looks better than GTA games in my opinion, it's GTA2 with the physics of Far Cry and some cool retro charm to it. Off topic but I just have to say... Costume Quest series is one of the best rpg series ever made. Games may be short but they have alot of depth to them. They cut all the filer and get to it and what they present is fun, simple and entertaining.

Uggghh... I forgot I traded in SR2 (PS3 version) awhile back. Right now I only have 3 and 4 on Steam. Guess I'll play through SR3 again til SR2 is on sale (Steam). I can barely remember the intricate details of SR2's story because it's been that long. All I remember is that it was better than SR4 lol Too bad about Yooka-Laylee but I kinda expected it. When people have very fond memories of Banjo Kazooie (Did I spell that right?) it's hard to live up to that expectation. I'll probably buy it when it's on a good discount sale. I'm hoping Sonic Mania doesn't let me down. Sonic games were so good in the 90's and early 00's... lately Sega has slaughtered the series. Sonic Mania looks to put them back on track

I liked 5, couldn't stand 4.

Me too lol I'm getting old in age, my reflexes aren't quite what they were in my teen years of twitch shooters. I'll still probably get it just because the boss dude looks cool - reminds me of System Shock 2' antagonist.

^ It will be $9.99 at launch. That's not anywhere on the net but that's what it will be. That much I know.

Gridd: RetroEnhanced is coming soon, anyone who grew up in the 80's and liked movies like Hackers or Tron will like it.

Sounds like they've devolved in game play... shame when this happens with franchises... whether it be Final Fantasy, or Resident Evil. Seems to be a thing lately.

Really loved 2 & 3 aswell, IV I didn't really feel a thing for, it was way to looney tunes for me to like it, they ditched any of the serious tones from the second that I liked so much and way overboard. Yeah, that was my thought. Saints Row 4 felt more like an Infamous game than a Saints Row game. I finished it but I was left underwhelmed. Sometimes less is more. They tried too hard to the point where it felt unfocused and the last bit felt like a drag-on. I never played Gat Out Off Hell though, perhaps next time it's on sale I'll pick it up
-
Reason I'm asking is because it's currently on sale (Steam). From what I gather it gets mixed reviews but I'm curious as to what you guys think.
-
I love the Saints Row games as well - specifically the 2nd and 3rd games. I think Agents Of Mayhem is a spin-off if I remember correctly. The first one was so good! I haven't tried the 2md yet so I'll be on the lookout for this demo. Thanks!

I don't like the idea of Portrait DLC...
SonicMage117 replied to SonicMage117's topic in Computer and Console
They're only going to be $3.99 well that settles it. I can sell some cards on the market and get them. I thought it was gonna be $9.99 or something -

Strange that they felt a portrait dlc needed to be issued then. I guess it's nice for those who want something official, I just have no interest in it. With that out of the way though, I can't wait to see what else they have in store for us. -
I want to get the dlc soon.

There's some talk on Steam about it being full HD remasters of both Bayonetta games or something. The more I think about it, the more I say to myself that it must be something like that - if it's just the first game then that's going to be overwhelming. If it was Bayonetta 3, that would be a phenomenal move for Sega imo but I'm still not really sure what to think.

Did not see this, haven't been following Tyranny as closely as PoE2. Thank you! We have some exciting things lined up for the world of Tyranny going forward! To tease your pallet the Overlord Kyros will first bring some new faces to all the Fatebinders out there! Our new character Portrait Pack releases on Steam on April 4th at $3.99, what comes next, you will have to wait and see. -
Is there any other form of DLC coming to Tyranny? I'm asking here because I don't want to sign up for another account over there lol I'm dissapointed if new portraits is all the new dlc will offer. That's a bit... underwhelming.

I think Obsidian felt the info-dump at the beginning was necessary because the game is much shorter than Pillars. I think they wanted the world to seem on par with Pillars and so it happened. Plus, the game wasn't kickstarted to my knowledge, so it was a way to introduce things to the players. I think my favorite thing about Tyranny is the characters, you have an almost Lord Of The Rings-ish faction and then a Mad Max-esque tribe as a faction, etc etc. Barik is a pretty cool character and the lore behind him is pretty crazy. He's like a rejected Disney character. I love that.

Terrible day to be a gamer...
