Not sure if we have many RTS fans here or City Building players but looks like the new Constructor remaster is no longer going to GoG. But it will be on PS4, XB1 and Steam.

Look what I've done... I've turned this thread into a car combat game thread lol Rogue Trip was pretty sweet, if I remember correctly it had that hip Ska soundtrack

Loved both those games, another one that was great was Vigilante 8. It was awesome for its open environments, the game had scale.

Nintendo is releasing a new DS model soon.. The NEW 2DS XL with more processing power than ever before.

I've never played a game where I thought "romance" was absolutely needed or fundamental to the core experience of the game. But then... The whole "What do you define as romance?" argument shall arise, I presume. Well, I don't really qualify Mario and Peach as a romance prsonally because I mean, you knew that's who Mario wanted to be with but there was no dialogue, emotion, etc. and that's probably due to the limitations years ago. Mario and Peach was more of a companionship, like that of Sonic and Tails, etc. I define video game romances as something more like what we see in Witcher series or Mass Effect... Sadly. They've always been horribly done, without any real depth or meaning. Sure. They might change the ending or open a quest but there are alot of games which have multiple endings that don't have any romance. And I'm not sure if I've ever seen romances actually done right in a video game before, so I'm curious to how Josh will handle that for Deadfire - if romances will be in Deadfire.

Is Shadowgate 2014 as horrible as the original?

Thank you. -
For the last couple days I have had the urge to play Rayman Legends (uPlay and Steam). One of the best and most beautiful platformers I've ever played. Also probably the most content ever squeezed into a platformer game in general. Hats off to Ubisoft, they put out another masterpiece!

Pictures of your Games Episode IX - The Bigger Picture
SonicMage117 replied to Rosbjerg's topic in Computer and Console
It's a terrible game, but the combat is addictive.I still have no clue what the story is even about considering dialogue & voice over are so cheesy I am forced to click through all of it quickly. Tbh, yes, it's very high-schoolish but that didn't stop me from loving it. I think the game revolves around comedy and weirdness for the most part so if you were expecting a serious Crpg like Baldurs Gate or PoE then yeah, you're going to be disappointed. I was happy to see it didn't take itself to seriously after playing other rpgs but that's just me. -
Constructor (game from the 90's) is back but with totally new graphics engine and a load of new content! So think Simcity but with some GTA flair and you have Constructor. Coming to pc, Xb1, PS4. Best of all, it's only $29.99!!!

New/Modern Games You Would Never Touch...
SonicMage117 replied to SonicMage117's topic in Computer and Console
Fair enough. For me, I already know there are a couple genres I will never ever play/consider which are: -FMV -Dating Sims -Match3 -Visual Novels -
Yes indeedy! And the pre-orders are doing well, appearently this was the most requested franchise in Code Masters forums so they got the licenses back and did it up!

Essentially a table-top version of Rocket League, Brawlerz: Nitro releases in Early Access in a few days. Also, Micro Machines is coming back strong! A new survival game that looks miles better than Don't Starve or The Forest...

That's a shame... considering that the HD jump affected Grim Fandango in just the opposite way. Maybe it's the difference of art styles though.

Looks great!

Forgotten war... and forgotten games. The new CoD is essentially a CoD remake. After watching the live stream I noticed that many of the scenes were near duplicates of the ones in CoD2 (upgraded graphics and slightly different dialogue of course). And CoD2 was the last CoD I actually bought/played.

^Those were the days!

Strafe's price is $19.96 lol How appropriate I just learned about the new Marvel action rpg and it looks great. Featuring 50 characters and each one is dofferent (no clones or similar characters). Pretty great stuff.

The freedom in the game is crazy, you start out by making a character from scratch - name, background, class, occupation, etc. Then you get a ship and hire a crew. You can romance people, eat your crew, basically anything is possible. It's dark and gritty - kinda like Gotham atmosphere, which is nice too. The game is all about choice and reflection. If you try it, let me know what you think. Whether you like it or think it's bad, I'm all ears!

I know we got The Old Blood but it would be great if Bethesda and Id gave us another game like that and The New Order. I wouldn't mind a futuristic Wolfenstein from those guys to be honest!

I'm not surprised... when you're selling games that cheap, devs can't feed themselves or their families. I knew ot was ultimately a matter of time.

Yeah, definitely no new races. The reason why Josh Sawyer said no to new godlikes was because they are a pain to write lore for and incredibly hard to design in general. Even though the artist loves doing it! Anyways, I think it's important to note that there will be storm as that can physcially damage your ship and your crew's morale. This is incredibly important.

I agree that it will be an epic game of this generation but I'm not sure if it will do amazing on the sales charts... The best games tend to get overlooked or overshadowed by some lousy overhyped AAA games that spend massive amounts on marketing. Since Crpg genre is more niche than people like to admit and it's a crowdfunded game (people out there hate crowd-funded projects thanks to Mighty No.9 and Double Fine) so with everything working against Deadfire, we'll just have to wait and see. Would low sales keep it from being my goty? Nope.
