  1. Did they hire help? From the RUINous Powers? Hah! Gedid?Eh, guys? Eh? Where did everyone go? 2b or not 2b? That is the question.
  2. Is the new Mechwarrior game VR only? I sure hope not.
  3. The Banner Saga for now. Then Abzu later tonight - super excited because I love ocean themed games and I also love games where you can't die! Maybe I'll pick up Alan Wake later tonight because it's dirt cheap.
  4. Off topic but... Alan Wake is on sale for the next 48 hours. It's incredibly dirt cheap - something like $2.99 or $3.99 for the franchise bundle. In in 2 days it will be gone forever, ever... EVER. Due to copy right and licensing issues. Now back to the topic at hand
  5. In that case, I'm glad the thread is gone, one thing that annoyed me when I discvered Discord was that people seemed to make things like "sexy gif channel" on their discord server. While I understand that these channels were made to keep the general channels clean, it was still annoying to know that they were there - even if I technically don't ever have to go to or click on that channel.
  6. Do we have any turn-based rpg fans here? If so, Earthlock: Festival Of Magic is 67% off right now bringing it from $29.99 to $9.89. What is Earthlock? It's basically a tribute of old SNES Jrpg's like old-school FF games. Colorful, with an art-style similar to Beyond Good & Evil or Kingdom Hearts.
  7. It has a game hub/page on Steam
  8. Dear Gromnir, One would think you'd make: "HA! Good fun!" Your signature by now
  9. I would love a new MechCommander But this is wishful thinking. Showing my age here....
  10. Brigador isn't a fast-paced action shooter nor is it a twin-stick shooter (it looks like one at first glance). Brigador is all about planning and strategy but real-time. You can overshoot mechs if you're not careful and you must manage your armor and ammunition very carefully, also use cover wisely and there are tons of intricate things like dodging, crouching, cloaking, smoke bombs for evasion, there is alot I see in common with both games.
  11. It looks great, it definitely looks like it takes a few inspirations from the mech game called Brigador. Which is one of my favorites on Steam. The only thing I'm worried about is if turn-based mechanics will take away from what makes mech combat "mech combat".. There's alot of technicalities in mech combat that of which made Mechwarrior and Brigador so great, I wonder how that will translate to actually playing in turn-based strategy. I'm interested. I'm also curious to how this will stack up against it's fellow turn-based Mech game "Dual Gear" which seems more focused on Anime-styled ermmm Japanese-styled rather mechs like Armored Core.
  12. I stumbled across this cool looking game called Tokyo 42. It's an open-world isometric game in which you control an assassin - as if the name wasn't already obvious enough. Tokyo 42 =/= Hitman 47. The game looks sweet though, the art is low poly-esque but it's beautiful. There's stealth and run and gun. It's basically a mixture of Party Hard, GTA, Hitman, MGS and Not A Hero. Guess this will be that "one purchase of the month" for me. Edit: Well, on the website it says "A lovechild of GTA1 and Syndicate". Is anyone here old enough to remember Syndicate?
  13. Make no mistake, we spoil her. She has her own room with two different cat trees so I don't feel bad for setting boundaries Okay sorry I'm done. Back to topic lol
  14. Here's mine Sorry it's blurry...
  15. Well, why, yes it was that game. The best part about PoR: Ruins of Myth Drannor was the way the game had the camera fixed on the characters, so you couldn't scroll and the party had to stay together all the time. The only way to play that game without pulling your hair out was to go solo. Which made the first three level ups hard and the rest of the game extremely easy. It's so bad it was considered as a replacement for capital punishment for a while, but no cruel and unusual punishment and all that. How in the world did that happen? Lol
  16. I always thought you had to work (do some quests and earn some money) to buy your ship and hire your crew. It would have made more sense if you had to earn it. I thought it was going to be somewhat like a Ys thing where you (the player) get shipwrecked and have no money. Edit: Also thought you would have to work for it because you'd get to choose which ship to buy. I think it would be weird for you to start the game by making/importing a character and then picking a ship right then and there. Or even owning a ship without a crew or without any money. If the ship is to replace the stronghold, it should be unlocked later in the game.
  17. I have a 4k monitor and gaming rig but since I have a cat and a small child running around, I use my Alienware Alpha more often which plays games just in 1080p but not bad since everything is still maxed at 60fps for most newer games anyway. (I put my stuff away after every use - literally) because clumsy cat, clumsy kid, and such. I don't want something apple juice to spill on my stuff while I'm not in the room or something, that would be my worst nightmare lol
  18. Debating on whether to get Vanquish.. Impact Winter.. or a Steam Link. I'm really trying to limit myself to a 1 purchase a month here lol From what I read about Vanquish is that it's very much like Transformers: Cybertron games but not as balanced? Thoughts?
  19. What do you guys think of...
  20. I have to say, it doesn't ring me as much as Crytek's shut down, a company which revolutionized pc gaming and affected it in a much bigger way. Still sad though. On the bright side, we can expect the former-employees to form a new studio or join a pre-existing one which will allow for some new ip's. Fear not because someone will make a spiritual successor to Hitman and other iO fan favorites.
  21. Siren: Blood Curse on PS3 was so good!
  22. That's pretty much how people will look at this post lol
  23. Pfft. Alpha Protocol, nuff said. It desperately needs a reboot, yes. While Sega's other games need sequels or HD remasters.
