err... I just went to CN's website, and I couldn't for the life of me find it on there. I thought they took it down after the run of eps from 11-20 ended?

I purposely stayed away from using multiple Jedi, by and large. *shrug* I usually have Carth and Zaalbar with me on the forge. Go out to yavin and get the Bargawin assault blades (there are two, at different points), and upgrade them both fully. Then give Zaalbar the implant that upgrades him to weapon focus: melee. And strength gauntlets if you like. He'll outkill a Jedi every time. Carth I generally use pistols for. I give Z's bowcaster to Mission generally, for the early levels. The only break in that was the game where I found a level editor and made Z into a Jedi. That was hilarious :D Too bad it wouldn't load the game after I had to restart KotOR. <_<

Better lightside ending please.
Carrie replied to Whitemithrandir's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I actually enjoyed Ep II for the most part. The 'love' scenes with Anakin and Padme are the only blemish on it really. Besides, Episode II served its main point in the last half hour, when Yoda pulled a lightsaber. :D Pretty funny seeing it was the same size as the ones the little kids were using in the training room, earlier in the movie Although, looking at the deleted scenes included even on the videotape version... I would have wanted at least one of those reworked and left in. If not a couple of them. Mostly the early dart investigation with the droids, and a reworked version of the scene where Obi-Wan leaves Coruscant to find Kamino. Yes, the discussion needed to be at a different spot, and with Yoda. But it wasted a lot of nice FX of the launch platform sliding out from the Jedi temple, and the ship docking with its hyperspace ring and leaving. Also, some of the deleted pieces of Ani/Padme are better than a lot of the the ones that were kept in <_< Especially the one where her parents give her crap about bringing a boyfriend home. :D -
LS came really easy for me... If you find trouble getting LS points, just pump more points into persuade and charisma when you level up, and go to Korriban early. There are probably at least a dozen (if not more) places on Korriban to get LS points. IF you haven't maxed out before that, do it early and you will.

Winterwind Interviews Lead Designer Chris Avellone
Carrie replied to The Guildmaster's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I know I'd have my own reasons for making a face like that at 'a bit longer'. I'd rather see it a lot longer, myself. With a lot more sidequests and such. So that if anyone really wanted to do EVERY sidequest, they'd have to work for it :D -
It's not just that, Shin. JA needs a serious patch to make it OBEY the settings you put into options. I had it very deliberately set to "NO SLOW MOTION DEATHS" because it ****ed up that level, you bumped into things while it was doing slowmos of kills, and moving your view behind you. Other than that, I didn't like the swoop level because losing the bike was an 'autodeath' basically, in field.

She's not necessarily as ugly as she could be, but the model still needs a lot more work before the game goes into production. They need to do much higher resolution and a much higher poly count. She really does need to be more like the concept art than she currently is.

You are confusing Sith, The Galactic Empire, and Dark Jedi Gizka... Anakin was a Dark Jedi as he was a lord in the Galactic Empire (Not a sith empire) Count Dooku/Lord Tyranus = Dark Jedi (Apprentice to Darth Sideous) Revan = I loved my Revan and im sure everyone also loved their own character...either good sith or good jedi. <_< Ajunta Pall = Pure 100% freshly squeezed Sith Juice. Btw for all those who dont know Darth is a title for a Dark Jedi and Sith Lord or other titles are for the sith...do not confuse the two. The best Sith ever was indeed Exar Kun though, "Thanks to you Exar Kun the Sith will never die" quote Marka Ragnos Vader and Tyrannus were both apprentices to Darth Sideous. A Sith. At least as much a Sith as one could be in that timeframe. So they are both Sith. NOT Dark Jedi. They followed Sith teachings and philosophys. Yup. It was even mentioned in both I and II that it was a Dark Lord of the Sith and an apprentice. For what it's worth.

Unfortunately no. A lot of the base party member outfits are custom built bodies just for them rather than actual 'clothing' bodies. You will probably not be able to steal any of the unique party NPC outfits for your own character. Sorry. :/ -Akari Rar Make note to try to put that in KotOR 3 please? And out of curiousity, why aren't they standard clothing bodies? I thought the default custom built bodies were the ones in the underthings? And will we be able to pick from different types of underthings in some future game? If I didn't know how hard it'd be, I'd make some comment about body shapes as well, so I could play someone flabby and overweight, or other things.

*pokespokespokes Akari* Will we be able to steal/borrow and wear other party members clothes? *still wants Mira's outfit on her own character*

Hmm... in regards to 'exclusive spoilers', maybe they should open up pre-orders earlier, and give the people who pre-order a code to type in on the site, for exclusive preview stuff.

Who actually wore jedi robes in kotor 1?
Carrie replied to oherror's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Amen to that, the Qel-Droma robes are very nice for their wisdom bonus without having to wear that damned ugly thing from Kashyyyk. I stuck that off on Juhani usually, mostly becauase she lacks force points as a guardian, while my high wisdom/charisma scoundrel/consular always has enough for whatever happens. -
Poll: Odds of Bastila coming back
Carrie replied to Bokishi's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
*groan* lets not get into plot tricks like that, please? -
Several people in KotOR 1 indicate that the war with Exar Kun was la longer time ago than one decade. More like 40-50 years ago, I think someone in game said.

I haven't clicked on that link because I'm at work and I'm scared to. Is it work safe? It's to www.kotorfanfic.com. Completely clean. One of the fanfics is in fact from a Bioware employee who wrote some of the characters. David Gaider's 'Denouement' is that one. its on his fanfic page. And as for the comment about fanfics full of Carth having sex, Raven... there's plenty of warning for dirty ones. A lot of ones aren't. Most aren't, in fact. Xenzen's Coming to Terms is a really good one there. As is 'The Shadows You Cast' from Winterfox. Coming to Terms is a little more 'bright', the latter is nasty. They don't 'love' the one who was 'redeemed' from being the Dark Lord in that one, in the least. And neither has anything to do with sex, in the least

Heh, I've lost once or twice on PC, from not looking, and once when I window-flipped for a transition, and got the random attack. When I flipped back it wouldn't come back up, just showed the loading screen, while I died.

Heh heh Plenty of KotOR fanfic out there...

Hopefully Yuthura It would definitely be nice... rescued pre-attack, she talked about possibly joining the Order again. I'd almost wish the same as some others, that she could join the party as a light side padawan again.

My only issue with Korriban is that it showed up in two separate games that weren't launched very far apart, and there was no consistency maintained. I mean, yes it'd look different in another 4000 years, but not /that/ different.

weapons holstered instead of in hand all the time
Carrie replied to DaniDE's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Sadly there's been no mention of people being able to do this. For rifles, it wouldn't be a matter of putting it in a holster, it would be putting it on a strap across your back, indicative that its put away. -
That is a chestplate meant to imply bulging biceps. It is NOT boobs
-
Blaster stances? Like what? 'Regular', 'Aim between the eyes', and 'shove the barrel up their... <censored>'? :D
-
If they do that, I'm getting me some KKKer robes with a smiley face and 'Have a Nice Day' on the back of them. 10 points for whoever can recall the movie reference. Blazing Saddles, was it not? Yes, yes it was. Mel Brooks at his finest. /me takes her 10 points happily. Yay.

Questions the the Devs - Take 2
Carrie replied to EnderAndrew's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
*pokes the devs* still here? I'm still wondering about being able to swap clothes with the NPCs.
