All this makes me sad. I haven't actually gotten to play TSL yet (I haven't got it for PC yet and I don't own an X-Box). I read all this awesome dialogue and find it's not in a game I've been excited about for over a year!!! Why? Should I even buy the game, knowing that my expectations are not going to be met? Is there no way to Mod these scenes in?? Whoever can do it, should be in charge of a KOTOR 3.

I'm sure this topic has probably been done before, but I just finished looking at the new force powers on IGN. I looks so lop-sided to me. I mean sure the Dark-side is SUPPOSED to be more seductive, but it seems like all the cool force powers go to Dark-siders. In KOTOR I had to use dark-side powers to be effective, unfortunately they cost more force points to use. It makes it difficult for Light-siders to kick butt. I would just like one good Specifically Light-side power (most of the offensives are darkside, or neutral), that gave me a good reason to want to be a Pure Jedi. P.S. I know that this will probably attract many "Dark-siders rock, so there" posts <_<

Ok, so the pic I thought was Atris, isn't. Also, the chick in white in the screenshot isn't Atris. So, who is the chick in the wallpaper? And, is there even an Atris in the game? or is it just a fake name we all think is real? :ph34r:

No, because this is the whole sentence "All that's left of the Jedi are a few outcasts, including your character, a nameless (so far) former Jedi that was kicked out of the order for some reason that hasn't been revealed yet."

From Gamespy. I know they may be talking about Kriea, but, her name has been officially released, Atris' name hasn't.

But what if it is, maybe Atris isn't a Jedi, but a Sith apprentice, sent to find the remaining Jedi and keep track of them until the time is right to destroy them?

To me this looks like Atris, what do you think. And if so then why is she looking so Evil?

It's sad that the Jedi become so extreme as to rule out Loving someone as having any worth. But it happens a lot in a community that has seen so much of their blood shed as the Jedi have. They believe rules, and codes can save them, when in the very end, Love is a powerful emotion, that can cause people to do extraordinary things. Technically Jedi falling in love is not forbidden YET in the KOTOR timeframe. I believe it won't become a rule not to love until 1000 years before Phantom Menace. Love is, I guess, looked down upon for a Jedi at this point it time. It's sad really to forget about Being one with the force, and Making the Force something completely seperate from yourself. The Force Shouldn't be seperated from the one using it. The user should enjoy life with the force as opposed to it being JUST a burden.

Brings back up the question of using the Force on objects. If I could use force pull, mabe I could use it to pull a lever across a way... What about a force power that can blind your opponent (I believe that there was something like it in Dark Forces: Jedi Knight)?

I did a quick browse over it. I just Look at one thing and say, "ok, now that's good, so this can't be good". I liked the drawings on the website, I liked Weiser's drawings too, YES!!! It can happen!!! You CAN like 2 things at once.
