Bug or intentional difficulty on Korriban?
Carrie replied to Ryenke's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Hm... a Sith tomb cave on Korriban? Were you playing LS or DS? I'd almost think as a LS char, it'd stop force regen, too strong in the dark side. -
That's a pretty big if, right there. Not to mention if he can actually see them, and actually remember which ones the infidels are, even if he does get out of it.

Reason for console version appearing before PC
Carrie replied to ZekeWolf's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
That is why you ask for money at that stage, to buy it yourself. If they know you want it and aren't getting it to you for christmas, they know they're treading on thin ground anyway. Least mine would. -
It is a holonet. I Was in a hurry. It does *ring* though! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ah That sounds better then. It would have to make some kind of noise when a message came in live, after all :D *whews*
-
Please tell me it's something more akin to a holonet receiver with faces and such? Not a 'phone' phone? Because the latter would be ridiculously silly in SW

Hm, that reminds me, I need to check that Jedi Academy mod I'm waiting on. They're trying to do a mod to do original Dark Forces in the JA engine. http://darkforces.jediknight.net Looking forward to this one.

Revan comes back to exact revenge on you for siding with Malak. I'd pee my pants if the final fight has Revan kicking my PC's butt all over the place. It would make a refreshing change if the ending made it so that it was actually impossible for you to win. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Um... that's a pleasant image to think about. Please try to hold it in?

Load Times are shorter but there are more of them

I absolutely like mine overeasy, I want the yolk to still be liquid. Hard yolks are disgusting to me. -

Yeah, my Athlon 2800+ with 512MB RAM and GeForce FX5200 256MB didn't seem to load too slowly, either. But then, I got that computer as upgrade from my PII-400 with 256MB total RAM, so I could get KotOR -
When the time comes, I certainly hope my Athlon 2800+ with 512MB RAM and GeForce FX5200 256mb video card will be able to play TSL I'm rather counting on it, at the moment...

I was looking at IGN Screenshots and saw this... LOL! I'm gonna love this... (the top answer, of course)

You, uh, forgot Mandalore on your poll And Mira on the female side.

Normally by the time a topic gets this size, they ask people to open up a second thread for it, I thought... Instead of extending a single thread to insane lengths.

Kreia shows her eyes, though, most blind people do. the Miraluka keep a band of cloth around them. /Exactly/ like the one Visas had on in the picture.

Ah, but they DO have eyes. Vestigial milky white ones that don't work. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So has it be released that Viras Marr is in fact a Miraluka? because if it has I have missed something so can someone please provide a link? or if it was in the reveiw can someone tell which page to look on. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You can tell by the band over her eyes partially, and I know elsethread Darth_Gandalf evidently saw it somewhere, to include in his known info list.

*bites her lip* I will not make political joke, I will not make political joke, I will not make political joke... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> C'mon Carrie, you have to tell us the joke now <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just the line about "Trimming the Bushes". (capitalization intentional)

from what I know they are different ppl but they do look really similar, both are very mysterious, and you can only have one of them in your party period!hmmm :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They're two different people., they'd have to be... (holds up Power of the Jedi sourcebook) Visas is a Miraluka. They have those bands over their eyes because they don't have eyes. At all. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ah, but they DO have eyes. Vestigial milky white ones that don't work. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They do? *digs book back out* Okay, I stand corrected: "Where their eyes should have been, Miraluka have nearly featureless eye sockets." But they always wear the cloths to cover them, so they dont' draw attention to themselves for that.

I thought Telos was going to have some kind of microclimate system for its rebuild, from the station. It's very possible that one section thusly has a winterish type of microclimate, to be in. Just speculation, though.

Hmm... in the first one I generally was Aurila Montan. Might use that, might consider thinking up a new one, when I get this in Feb.

I wondered that myself. Not that it really matters a whole lot. It states very clearly his level of ability to have an intelligent arguement for his side of whatever issue he said it about.

Why did obsisdian remove all Xbox Live features
Carrie replied to JediMafia's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Out of curiousity, JediMafia, where the heck are you at? If the reqs are still not that different from KotOR II, I'll just keep my GeForce FX5600 to play with. And that only cost $130 for a 256MB, clear back 10 months ago. I'm sure with the 6 series out, it's probably dropped further.
