  1. Didn't Bea Arthur sing as well? That in itself is frightening enough to scare me away.
  2. For me it's usually either Jennaida Eirene or Aurila Montan
  3. There's possible, and there's likely. I mean... if they decided to turn it that way, a 'new' Sith Empire could rise, if the writers wanted, with essentially the same council set up as the Republic, and a freely elected Dark Lord. (now THERE is a political campaign I'd want to see!) Simply as a parody of the old ones. I guess I consider a Sith loving nature to be only... slightly more likely, if that.
  4. With the injuries after 5 further years of war, I'd say it'd make them closer to nonexistent, especially not in the quantity needed for a full kolto tank.
  5. *reads the preview* Hmm... I didn't see this mentioned earlier, so I'll make note: I'm hoping that the ones doing this article said that Revan stayed lightside. This is what, 5 years after KotOR? If Revan went dark, the dark solution for Manaan involved destroying the ONLY source for kolto, thusly it should not be a kolto tank by that much further into the future. Just an idle nitpick.
  6. Please make certain to forward my condolences to Chris, for having to withstand such a horror, even for the sake of the what should be an incredible storyline :D
  7. Master Speed is /the/ power, especially for consulars. Kick on the turbos and hold on tight, and watch the other guys get cut to ribbons :D
  8. Can I have some spam, spam green eggs and spam, please? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Heehee... noobs. I'm not sure why people consider shoving the lightsaber into the locker such a bad thing. The way that guy was acting, he probably woulda been better off with a quick painless death, rather than starving in the locker never believing that it was safe to come out. I've almost even considered doing that one as a lightsider I will say, one of the things I love on the darkside is telling the chanter from The One's tribe to keep chanting or you'd carve him into itty bitty pieces, and watching him squeak in fear at it. :D
  9. You:"[Force Presuade] Half will be enough, you agree." Woman:"[success]Half will be enough, I....agree?" The best darkside moment in the game in my opinion, mindtricking that innocent woman to give up her last possesion and forcing her to stay on the backwater world..... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> <_< ...and force her children to starve... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Heh. I have my own opinion about force persuade, stuff that should have been allowable, and that situation. I usually had plenty of credits as a lightsider (mostly from selling the darksiders lightsabers and robes and crystals to Suvam Tan), and maintain the opinion that Force Persuade should be more 'open' to options. I wanted to use force persuade on her as a lightsider, to be willing to take more than 700 creds for it. Too nice for my own good, I guess. You'd need persuade/dominate mind to do it tho, cause she didn't want a handout, and you'd be making her take one.
  10. You should be given lightside points when you do that. One less sand people makes a better galaxy. Just like when the Jedi hunted the Terentateks. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You can do that without getting any dark side points, anyway. Just ask enough questions during the "worthy of history" quest (where you get to talk to their story teller for the dragon pearl), and ask about the outsiders, and whether the similarity to their ancient selves they see is cultural or physical. And insist that HK ask. Make sure you have the best fighters there. You can wipe out the camp, loot everything, have far more gaffi sticks to take back for bounties, get the pearl back... and not get a single dark side point for it. After all, you were only trying to understand them better... :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Or you could simply not buy HK-47 until the mission is over and walk right through the front doors of the enclave and get attacked because you can't talk to them. <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I guess I figure that Worthy of History is just the most clean and 'nice' way to justify wiping them out. Some other ways really should get you DS points. Wonder how badly they would have reacted if you'd been able to come back after the forge, and tell them what you found. I'd be wanting to congratulate them for having an oral history remain completely accurate for 30 thousand years. Show them a couple holovids of the Star Forge, since it almost certainly was the device that "lashed stars to millstones". Show them the cave...
  11. I'm wierd (as the one who picked Vrook so far), but that was one of the reasons I was a little disappointed with the ending of KotOR. After his 'mean old fart' act on Dantooine, I wanted to see if he'd changed his tune any, with the Forge destroyed, little Revan so light that she practically has a halo (still), and everything good. :D

  13. I actually ran the game with my female PC running around naked, for most of it. Then I picked up that one mod mentioned elsewhere on the forum (in the post about whether mods can be mentioned). With actual tough enemies, I had to stop and put clothes back on. Was hilarious before that, tho
  14. I put down Other, for that. Making Zaalbar kill Mission made me feel horribly unclean for a while after. Whoever did the voice acting for Z did a good job on that one, I still can remember the sound of a Wookie bawling. I could never bring myself to take that woman's wraid plate. Or a few other things. I'm too weak to be a darksider really anyway.
  15. I actually played through almost all of the game (aside from the two spots which require specific clothes) in underwear, the last time out, just as a celebration of the fact that no one reacts to clothes, and no one would even comment about a female character running around in her underthings :D I still find that hilarious :D
  16. I've also seen it eat memory quickly. I never got to the point of crashing, because invariably during a cutscene, it would start fast-forwarding like I was clicking on the mouse continually, when I wasn't. When that happened, I saved, and knew it was time to close it and restart it. I usually have to do that several times, depending on what else I'm doing and how much I alt-tab. I just want to hear a more official comment on SP2 for XP. I'm HOPING it'll still work after that gets put on...
  17. Ah, such noble intent. Jolee was pretty cool, however, as far as the Jedi went. I got maybe one Jedi that was better than him, and that was using a savegame editor. Zaalbar with a lightsaber and force powers is scary :D
  18. Er? I don't sell mine to Yuttal... But I routinely sell enhancement crystals out at Yavin IV. It's never given me a DS point yet for doing it... Or is that specific to the X box version? I know that the Prima guide for KotOR says you'll get a DS point on Korriban for memorizing and reciting the Sith code properly, it hasn't given me one for that either.
  19. Hm. Devs? If you're still reading this thread, can you answer something engine related? In KotOR there was a bug sometimes, when using some things were 'in use' during an area transition with load. The most glaring offender was Force Speed. Essentially, you'd cross the load point with it, and when it got to the new area, it never turned off until you forced it to, by starting it again to reset the timer. Has that been fixed? Or will we still need that workaround? And will there be less trouble for force speed people? They sometimes fail to catch trigger points, just as people using the turbo cheat don't. But FS isn't a cheat, its a valid force power. Missing triggers and missing exit trip points for level loads is annoying.
  20. Umm..... *holds thread clear out on a 25 foot pole* You do realize that, however unintentionally, you've made a thread that openly baits Hades_One to start flaming about things again?
  21. I actually went through the Star Forge level with Zaalbar and Mission, and beat it. *shrug* Felt too guilty about going darkside enough to dominate mind Zaalbar into killing her, so tried it. (yes, I'm a lamer and soft) Besides, it worked Didn't quite have it on Hard, tho
  22. Mika Dorin, at the cantina where Yuthura Ban is when you go to sign up for the Sith Academy. On the next world after you found out who you 'were', a Twi'lek approaches you saying that their 'private operation' found out about who you were, and offered 'premium' items, thinking you were out to retake the title of Dark Lord, and wanting to have favor with you when you do. Mika Dorin is the one who has those items. The absolute best item he sells is the Dominator gauntlets, which are Strength +5. Combine that with the CNS Strength Enhancerfrom the shop near the Ebon Hawk on Dantooine (which is Strength +2, and +2 on all saves), and your consular suddenly is much more of a threat. Especially when you put the heart of the guardian, the upari, and the solari crystals in your saber while in the temple on Rakata.
  23. Don't forget the Dominator gauntlets from Mika on Korriban. Those make things much easier.
  24. The final ending of the Dantooine part (Windu) was, I swear, based on a soft drink commercial, where the kid hands (forget which sport it was) star a pop after they come off the playing field.
  25. I was always pissed that the Leviathan was rejecting my computer spikes. Slice the system clear to hell and back, and use intruder gas on everyone aboard. Then take it out cruising to everywhere :D
