  1. The description are wrong. Also description of AoE duration of Cipher's Eyestrike is wrong and much more
  2. If you increase the radius of a circle by 10% you increase the area (NOT diameter) of that same circle by roughly 20%. Let's do own calculations step by step. 1. Area of chant is the circle with base radius 4 m. and diameter (radius*2) 2. When we get bonus 10% to base value of radius (e.g. 4.4) we have same bonus to diameter of our Area of Effect: 10% = 8.8 diameter. Sorry again for my language...i hope you understand
  3. No. 10% is 10% everywhere. If you add 10% to radious of 4m.it will be 4.4 radious = 8.8 diameter. if you add 10% to diameter of area (8*1.1 = 8.8 ) Area = diameter, in our case.
  4. "Actually it's 4.8828125% and not 5%, but well..." - BLYAT' "Same with the VotMt" - radius +20% = Area +10%? But it's equal: radius 4m +10% = 4.4 and then area diameter wiil be a 8.8 meters. Equal if 8.0+10% - its wrong Maybe i don't understand anything?
  5. Hm... Scroll of Defence stack with Circle of protection. It's ok. I wonder about all fanfares here
  6. I think it's worth it. If you put together all this bonuses, it nearly double AoE radius. This is a whole game trick - you're never find (or got) weapon or talent which is break whole game (like +5 Carsomir from Baldur's Gate). Instead of this, you must think with you mind - how to put together all bonuses and benefits to reach higher efficiency. That's why i love this game.
  7. INT 20 with no gear: INT 20 with Overseeing Ring + Voice of Mountaintop: INT 20 with ring & amulet and Crown of the Fateful spell (+6 Int):
  8. INT 20. Base is 4 meters. + bonus from INT (60%) we got 6.4 meters. With Ring of Overseer we have 6.71 radius: I wonder how this value is computed?
  9. "I guess VotMt only gets calculated as base when it comes to INT, not when the increase of Overseeing is calculated?" - about VotMt and Boot of Leadership i have no questions. About Overseeing... I tested ONLY Overseeing Ring. And i don't understand how this item works...
  10. Becose of changing base value - the more Int you have, the greater bonus you'll receive.
  11. Then why is the inner circle of the chanter's AoE indicator (=base radius) not changing while the outer cirlce widens by 20%? It says 20% in the description, too (not that this is proof or something). I just tested it 30 seconds ago to be sure. The inner circle doesn't move. How did you test it? By adding/substracting INT while wearing it? Maybe the indicator doesn't adapt to a change of base radius. I'm testing it right now and don't understand. Ring of Overseer (+10% to AoE) with chanter having 20 INT (+60% to AoE): Chanter with 20 int have 4*1.6 = 6.4 radius. Ok. Then i equiped Ring and radius of Beloved Spirits became 6.71 meters. I have no idea how this value appear! (4*1.1) * 1.6 = 7.04. Wrong. (4*1.6) + 10% = 7.04. Wrong. (4*1.7) = 6.8. Wrong. What the...trick?!
  12. No it does not influence the base. It increases the radius of the chant AoE by 20% as +4 INT would do. It stacks with overseeing which das the same thing but only +10% (like +2 INT). But the chants' base radius of 4 meters is never altered. As a comparison: Sacred Immolation has a base radius of 3 meters and Carnage has 1.5 meters. No. I have tested it a lot. It's not true in case of Chanter's amulet and Boots of Leader for paladin. This two items increases base value by 10% and then this value affected by int. (BASE*1.1) + % Int modifier. And Overseening do the same thing. Take a calculator and test it yourself if you don't believe me.
  13. No. You're wrong this time. Crit affects only linger duration, it's true, but counting not from base - from actual linger duration (thanks Obsidian one more time for glass-clear mechanics) Look at screenshot (15th level chanter, 20 INT, Brisk Resitation: 40%).
  14. About AoE radius: i always buy and use those amulet from Dirford (Voice of something something) becose it increase BASE AoE radius by 10% - with high Int it appears in another +1m (like several Int points).
  15. Whu only 2? Look at my erlier screenshot - 5.6 duration + 5.6 linger. It means 11.2 sec. on Hit and 14 on Crit. And this is with Int 19 or 20 (i forgot exact number).
  16. Carnage have much smaller AoE... About DT crits - you're right, my mistake(
  17. Sorry, i make a "little" mistake about damage) Look at the full calculation: Base damage of single DT is 10 slash + 10 burn = 20 every 3 sec. High Might chanter + Priest 5th level spell Champions Boon (+10 Might, +10 Perception) = you will have at least 30 Might (+60% damage) and 20 Perception. 20 + 60% = 32 dmg. Two simultaneously chants: 32*2 = 64 dmg points every 3 sec. ON HIT. Becose high Perception + other buffs you will often Crit (another +50% dmg). Sounds like "Press X to win" button to me About will attacks- take Priest and forget about it. Becose i agree - dominated DT chanter is the worst thing may ever happen About Might... 20 base + 3 Resting bonus + 4 from Abydon Hammer +10 from Champions boon = 37 and +81% to base damage ( all and all 72.4 per 3 sec. from two chants)
  18. Of course you do - the main trick of Dragon Trashed chant is additive damage from two simultaneously chants. Fully buffed chanter can deal up to 64 dmg points every 3 seconds on hit - it's like cheating.
  19. Yes, correct: Dexterity is the only one stat in game which affect on time to perform actions (animation speed)
  20. About Vulnerable Attack: it's good for early game, but not so good since you get Deadlows, i think... For two reasons: 1. +5 dmg per hit became not so sighnificant comparing your overall damage and comparing to large healthpool of enemies 2. If you don't reach 0 recovery (which is heavy depends of equimpent and random loot), VA slows you down and do nothing for your DPS, and even reducing crit rate. Explanation: Without VA you can deal 10 hits in 10 seconds (for example), and with VA (-20% attack speed) you can deal only 8 hits in the same period of time. One hit deals, for example, 30 dmg - then your overall dmg in 10 seconds will be 300. With VA you get +5 dmg to every hit (so it will be 35) but can hit only 8 times, so overall damage will be 35*8=280 in 10 sec. In addition, you will have lower crit chance, becose you deal less hits (attack rolls) in the same amount of time. So crit chance will be also reduced by 20%. On the other side, yeah, it's guaranteed +5 damage bonus, even if you graze, but you don't see any sighnificant andvantage in 99% fights past lvl 11. For me it's a "trade bad for worse" option. But if you can manage to reach constant 0 recovery (i mean "constant" - not limited by time and not dependent from triggers like Frenzy on Sanguine Plate) then it will be a nice damage bonus.
  21. Yes, but bounty is the ONE encounter. In the Abbey we have several fights like this. I've beaten all those monks in my first playtrough (becose didn't know about peaceful way to complete this quest) and that was enough for me - for the next two playtroughs i've always choose diplomacy.
  22. Ok, sorry, i understand. I thought this was a recent review.
  23. No. Comparing to russian forums, where everyone wants to offend you, in an effort to defend his own opinions & ambitions, this is the place for adequate peoples.
