Mod translations (localised)
Phenomenum replied to peardox's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire: Modding (Spoiler Warning!)I can provide a complete translated files compatible with my russian fixes mod (trough they can be used without it). You don't need to do anything. Becose my mod works as additional language set, users can simply choose their language and add files to Override folder. German fixes (de_patch) + your mod works exactly this way, i think.

Mod translations (localised)
Phenomenum replied to peardox's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire: Modding (Spoiler Warning!)Yes, i can do this. As you remember, i've asked you to use your work. I don't use colors for Attribute Inspirations - only for Afflictions (eg. Crippling strike with yellow color becose it attacks Fortitude and so on). So it will be not exactly replica of you work. However, i can provide you full translation, just need to finish my mod. You need translation of last version 0.4? Or 0.5?

Mod translations (localised)
Phenomenum replied to peardox's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire: Modding (Spoiler Warning!)What mod exactly you want to translate? If this about stringtables i can help with russian loc. I'm releasing Russian localization fixes for Deadfire (becose official translation is awful) within 2-3 days and have some free time then.

Portraits III
Phenomenum replied to Amentep's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Depends of portrait. I can't spend my time hand-drawing dozens of portraits for people, so i'm using PS (and most people like my works). It's better than nothing anyway, and some "watercolors" i've made better than originals (IMHO):

[MECHANICS] Attack Speed, Recovery Time, Reload Time
Sorry if this question was already mentioned (i didn't find) but What the difference between Attack Speed and Action Speed? As i understand, Action Speed affects all attack phases (swing (shot, spell preparation), reload, recovery) and Attack Speed affects only first attack phase but not Reload and Recovery... Am i right?

Phenomenum replied to Amentep's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Nice lady. Sadly, but overall composition of portrait is sucks - 50% of space spended for orange background. Don't understand it, but anyway - here's my try.

Phenomenum replied to Amentep's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)- Patch 1.1.0 Updates Thread
PotD on first island is sick. I hardly imagine how to beat 4 boars (50+ damage, 10 Pen) + 4 flying mouses (30+ damage from distant attacks) with 3 (MC Rogue/Cipher, Eder, Xoty) chars. Focusing one char leads to oneshot from 3-4 simultaneous attacks in 2 seconds no matter what you do. Armor is totally uselles. Obsidian, it's a kind of trolling or what? (I've beat PoE1 several times on PotD).- Portraits III

Phenomenum replied to Amentep's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)These are really great. I dislike most watercolor portraits in the base game, wish I could replace all of them with real ones, but these watercolor versions are very pretty and detailed. Where is your own profile portrait from? Thanks! And I'm not sure where I originally got my profile portrait or my main char portrait either. I've been collecting images for custom portraits in games for ages. Here's a larger version though, if you like!- Portraits III

Phenomenum replied to Amentep's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)My alternative version:- Rogue exploit
Hello. I don't know if anybody mentioned it (technicaly it's not a bug), but Rogue active stealth abilities (Shadowing Beyond, Smoke Cloud) could be easily exploited during battles or stealing/robbering, becose it per encounter now. If you spotted by guards - use Smoke Cloud, then walk wherever you like to go (battle mode will ends and you'll be able to continue your dirty business). Same thing with encounters - kill enemies one by one. Basically, you don't need high level of Stealth or those Fireworks to distract enemies. Leave your party at the tavern or near dungeon entrance and walk alone. This exploit was first introduced in PoE 1, but due to per rest limitation was boring and hard to use. With new abilities system it's cakewalk - you can steal anything, beat anyone, without much trouble.- Lafda : Bounty
As i remember you simply must don't kill her during this quest.- Portraits III
