Durgan enchanted angios gambeson only has 5% recovery and then u get DAoM and decent DR so enemy dont target you instantly Other decent choice for back line caster/ranged dps is armor with 2 Survival from Defiance Bay lighthouse , +2 survival gives huge benefit when u want to reach levels 12-18 in survival and u can enchant it so it only has 5% recovery , im using such armor on my ranger , which has +20% damage on flanked targets from mid game

Sanguine Plate best for your melee needs You can get it very early in the game Can enchant it up to 20 DR step by step from fine to legendary If you durganize it later it only has 0.02 recovery penalty after frenzy proc +2 Survival is the thing nowadays you can get to 3rd tier of Damage Reduction bonus or 3rd tier healing bonus and have enough for another skill .

I use Fellstroke to open with my melee rogue from stealth ( after the combat starts ) wait for my party to debuf enemies for deathblows with Phantom Foes and some other spell like Interdiction and then shooting Fellstroke from stealth ( Backstab , Sneak Attack , Death Blows , Ambushing )always results in one hit one kill scenario on a lesser enemy, and then i can go safely to melee because enemies are already engaged/blocking each other

On a melee char that is not for soloing you can save some points from Con and Res imo and replace them with use of consumables and buffs , you can always have a pearlwood food buff thats +2 Con , Trails bonus ( +3 CoN +2 Atlethics ) in Caed Nua is obviously the best one unless u need some mechanics , you can put +2 con on some mid game armors , missing concentration from resolve can be replaced by spirit shield potion or u can have priest cast a spell , or if you are lucky with stronghold adventures u can get gloves that has spell holding holy meditation , enemies pick targets depending on your DR anyway You can easiliy add +7 CoN and all it takes is one buff to fix low resolve

So , with new info that you need only 1,5 speed when dual wielding to reach 0 recovery , what is optimal DPS setup ? I have Spear with Stunning and Vicious , Bittercut , Nightshroud , Rimecutter ( x2 ) , Spelltongue , Resolution , Vaxing Mold to duplicate , White Forge Unlocked and i have smelted 6 ingots, i could get Purgatory and Vent Pick very easily because im about to start WM2 and Act3 also i have most of the non soulbound weapons like clubs n stilettos some dagers too . Two characters that would be using those weapons are MC Rogue and Bleak Walker Paladin both dual wielders Im using Sanguine Plate on Bleak Walker ( Maybe soulbound armor later ) And not sure what armor i will pick for rogue havent found anything special yet I will have gauntlets of swift action for both too

It has something to do with : every single fight (PoTD) is trash fest , what makes a fight hard in PoE ? Enemy outnumbering u 4 to 1 . Only way to loose a fight is if enemy trash mobs did one of the following things : there were too many of them so they swarmed your party because tanks can only tank 10 of them , there is not enough space for your party to move so terrible pathfinding kicks in and ur team eats random disengagement attacks because they cant move one step to the left , or your party dies because they cant even reach the enemy because other party members are blocking them , or worst is you cant reach biggest enemy threat because enemy is already blocking each other in 4 lines and not even teleports get trough . Fake Difficulty all over the place . I really had hops that in Whitemarch they add more encounter where u have to face 3-7 Very strong enemies , instead they did the same mistake and made u fight against 20 trash mobs every time , i wonder if developers ever tested POTD fights ( i assume that they never even touched this mode because if you look closely how battle on Path of The Damned resolves its pathetic tbh ) . Use of any tactics is so limited simply because there are more trash mobs than game fit to your screen so only viable tactic is Buff myself to oblivion , launch all aoe attacks my party has , struggle finishing left overs with your autos because even after u killed 20 priests , last priest of something will become avatar of Chuck Noris , wont die and kill atleast 2 of your teammates ,hell i had last enemy who was engaged by 5 party members in melee dish out disengagement attacks on my priest and rogue while those pathetic bastard were fighting uphill battle against pathfinding , funny thing even when 5 guys stand around that last enemy he still wont get flanked There is no room for tactics and coordination in pillars due to immense number of trash enemies who blocks the battlefield for you and for themselves

Riposte - Needs To Be 25% of All attacks Misses ,Grazes,Hits maybe not crits Shadowing Beyond - 1 or 2 Per Encounter Escape - use Cape of the Cheat all day , it has to be atleast 2 per encounter to make it worth it or im just using the cape lol Withering/Fearsome change i agree would be very nice , Feign Death / Shadow Step these abilities needs tuning , Feign Death u should be able to wake up whenever u want to , Shadow Step needs to work with Backstab other new abilities i havent used much/enough to say anything Edit : Oh and we forgeting poor old Blinding Strike is it still 1 per encounter compared to Hobbling Strike 2 per encounter , i never chose blinding strike in 3 rogue playtroughs .

I went something like : Act 1 ( Including Raedric and One Level of Caed Nua ) Act 2 ( Everything i could do before i had nowhere to go except WM and Act 3 , + first 5 of Caed ) Open Act 3 and WM 1 both upscalled , gonna try to do both at same time , tho i feel Upscalled Act 3 is harder than Upscalled WM1 so im gonna do some stuff in WM first and then do easier stuff in Act 3 and then Comeback to finish WM1

From what i understood from speaking with Nedmar is that he supports Raedric , but will support Kolsc just the same if it comes to that , also he is the one that reveals that Kolsc is driven by his own Ambition to rule meanwhile Raedric believes in favor of Gods and he will do their bidding even if means Killing his own wife . I solved it as peacefully as it gets - Make deals with all of them : Animancer to kill Priest , Priest to Free Giacco , and then go to Raedric and make another deal to grt rid of Kolsc , this way everyone stays alive for the time being , anyway going back there right now at lvl 9 to charge my scepter :D not gonna make much deals this time . Every time i complete Raedrics hold more and more i believe that Kolsc should just be killed on sight .
