  1. Wizards and casters in general is what makes poe too easy even on highest difficulties imo .
  2. 33% is kinda joke number for act 3 and 4 considering they were too easy on potd anyway even when there was only base game without all this aditional content we have now
  3. I havent played poe for some time now but when i did , i used to run ranged parties a lot, all of them using Priest of Magran . I would suggest either a heavy plate 1h +shield priest of magran who just uses arquebuss for alpha strike , or full ranged priest of magran using arquebuss as its primary source of damage, but then you dont need heavy plates . Arquebuss with marking , is what i was aiming for with magran priests as it could boost damage of nearby ranger or other ranged character , then i had chanter who gave great buff to reload speed , also i stacked all the possible Accuracy buffs for obvious reasons
  4. What is recommended minimum of CoN and Res for melee rogue ( not MC ) in a party , i assume having highest perception dexterity and high might is the core then Spreading rest over INT and Con+Resolve , i do not want him to be pure glasscanon as those dont work in practice too well , i assume i will use some medium armors ( second chance maybe ) early untill i get something permanent
  5. your builds are best thing ! What about ranger using bows , have any builds for those ? I would still like to have very strong pet ( a wolf maybe or cat i guess wolf is better tho ) for the sake of those times when pet was liability more than anything . Maybe a ranger that uses baby sneak attack with a pet that has Merciless Companion ( 135% bonus u told about earlier sounds nice ) in my party i will always meet conditions for it .
  6. Wonderfull answer thank you ! Concerning the race , im thinking to go Paladin Pale Elf , and Fighter Coastal Aumaua , fighter will be main tank so i want him to look bigger than others :D
  7. I will do that for sure , thanks . Maybe you could also share a build for bleak walker paladin ( 1h+shield ) what stats should i max and what abilities to use
  8. Well my tanks will be Fighter main tank ( Overbearing Guard , Retaliation ) and Pala Secondary Tank + Some damage (for Bleak Walker ) that is set , i played twice already with chanter as one of the tanks , i find them boring troughout the game but they were kinda nice for first Playtroughs but now i want something different . Original question still stands : what would be nice build for Main Tank Fighter hireling using overbearing guard and retaliation items and abilities as much as i can stack on him ( Stats , abilities , talents ? )
  9. I am also interested in this , would like to know what levels i have to be to enable high level scalling on WM1 , Wm2 , Act 3 , act 4
  10. fighter seems to be the choice then , thanks for advice , what do you think would be a proper fighter build ( stats and talents ) for main tank ( hireling from the inn so can be min maxed ) who is using as much retaliation and engagement bonuses as he can to keep enemies on him and retaliate as much as he can ? Havent played fighters in poe yet always went with pala+chanter for tanks and i have no idea how to build one .
  11. Thank you for such great answers , now i will know to avoid many godlikes i guess , kinda sad that no adjustments were made for them to use atleast some of the headwear , i read more and more on forums that paladins actually do damage now which was not the case when poe was released , so i will give it a shot with Bleak Walker tanky paladin , will start like a normal tank hatchet and shield and switch to more offense later when i get some gear . Currently im leaning towards Skaen Priest MC ( also orlan race gives some flavor for dialogues more than others i guess ) , a human rogue hireling that i will try to build arround backstab talent later ( this way by stacking deathblows and backstab i wont have to worry about missing 0,5 crit from watcher only stuff ) , also fighter maintank to help paladin and these 2 melee by holidng some agro ( i read fighters are exceptionally good at that nowdays , true or not ? ) also i willl have a rangers pet as 5th melee body .
  12. Faith and Conviction on companions/hirelings now scales with level. It's ok. Well, I use to give my MC paladins four weapon slots, three guns and a shield setup and Quick Switch. That way they do some nice, serious burst damage with FoD shots and can tank and support like ever. That's a lot of micromanagement - a bit too much for my taste. But it's so effective. I am already going with quickswitch on another character , so thats not an option , would non MC paladin using 1h+shield have enough killing power to finish of low hp enemies ( death godlike maybe , how bad is no helm penalty for a tank ) ? Then i could probably go bleak walker to fit my party style . I am planing on using two tanks fighter main tank and paladin , also two melees a rogue and a skaen priest ( i was thinking to start more as normal priest and transition into melee after defiance bay) and two ranged characters .
  13. hehe i was thinking to have a paladin tank , but im not sure if i want another pc paladin , does faith and conviction scale on companions ? Havent played since before White March expansion and a lot seems to have changed for better . Last time i had paladin main character it was pretty boring as he mostly did the tanking and buffing ( Darcozzi ) and wasnt in action much , well not as much as other characters , i like the low maintenance part of paladin tank but not for main character , also paladin im thinking about for my party would be tank and buffer ( maybe a bit of healing but not kind wayfarers obviously ) so not sure if bleak walkers will give any benefit as he wont do much killing cant really decide on paladin order here , and i could opt in for any out of these 3 bleak walkers goldpact or darcozzi
  14. Assuming i want to use 2 tanks for my party Paladin and Fighter which one would better equipeed with retaliation items and built as retaliation tank ? Are there any posts about this on forum i tried search but hardly found anything
  15. I was thinking to roll an evil party of stealthy and shady characters ( PoTD ) focusing more on melee ( 4 meele and 2 ranged ) , and i was wondering if i could fit both a melee rogue and skaen priest into it . Would there be enough items for both considering i use sabres on rogue and stilletos on priest , im more worried about other equipment like helmets gloves and boots i dont want to gimp one of them , i dont mind to do some meta gaming and minmax if needed . Also cant decide which one should be pc , rogue would beneift more from watcher only talents and abilities but then skaen priest would probably end up very weak , also i am thinking to follow deceiptive cruel agressive and clever dispositions, which pc rogue or priest ( both melee ) would have better suited stats for dialogue checks ?
