  1. Aloth will be your stronghold adventures slave even after u fail his quest , also his quest doesnt start instantly after u recruit him so he is perfect choice for doing adventures , if you give all adventures to him he can even outlevel your party :D
  2. Dont wait too long , when i came to Concelhaut at lvl 15-16 i auto attacked all his apprentices to death , and my paladin killed the great Lich with 2 FoD :D , this all was upscalled POTD , this fight certainly can become too easy with max level , as its meant to be done with lvl 14 ( it was max lvl by that time )
  3. Having more than 2 Characters that needs heavy micro usually means that some of them arent being used to full power , i agree that low supervision characters are actually a good thing
  4. Id like to keep con at 10 on Fighter Tanks because later when u stack all the regenerating health effects , u will notice that your endurance dont drop below 90% but your health can become red and limit endurance that way . Also 10 is max con i ever had on character :D so im not really a fan of the stat but its good for fighter tanks . I want to stress how i respectfully disagree with Crucis , one should get Defender as soon as possible first 3 talents you should be aiming for are : Defender , Weapon and Shield Style , Hold The Line these talents are vital for Fighter Tank , because fighter has no other way to hold agro except engagement because he simply doesnt do any damage , and you should get Measured Restraint asap thats an endgame weapon right there in endless path 2 . At level 7 you can take Overbearing Guard and now all your engagement slots starts to pay off greatly , my tank had 6 engagement slots in the end and i always sent him alone to start fights and it worked like a charm . Add in some Retaliation Gear , Flame Shield Potion , Pain Link from Cipher and such fighter will be able to kill 5 enemies that he has engaged without even attacking them once meanwhile staying with 90% of hp because of the regeneration setup that you should be aiming to build for every fighter tank . Also when going for Health Regen , id rather have Max Might than Max INT , con and dex arround 10 , rest points spread between Per and Res , tho if you gonna be using Measured Restraint u can safely leave per at 10 accuracy wont be a problem
  5. Dual - Wield you need 1.5 to have 0 . Also you can get most of the soulbound stuff right after finishing WM1 . Unlabored Blade , Twin Sting , Ryonas Breast Plate are just there for the taking before u do anything in WM2 , and you can finish WM1 not upscalled pretty early in the game
  6. You can Unlock most of the soulbounds pretty easy and then they are atleast Superb , you dont get to make Unique weapons into superb until very late game . Also soulbounds like Stormcaller , Unlabored Blade , Stronghold Scepter ( for druid mainly ) are irreplaceable and definitely best in slot . Also i cant stress how important is Twin Sting for quick switch cipher build as it completes your 4 weapon slots perfectly , 3 named Blunderbuss and Twin Sting gives you enough focus to finish any fight
  7. solo is different story , Spliting groups with full party is pahetic cheese If choice is between waiting level or two to kill it properly or cheese it earlier by splittig imo one should just wait few levels Especially when op mentioned he is uderleveled and gonna wait i think there is nothing to discuss further . Also pulling enemies back to fight them in better position is completely different from pulling enemies back far enough so half of them go back Because of stupid AI , there is no need to ever do it if you play with full party
  8. so you say its better to cheese it earlier by abusing game mechanics and spliting the group that is meant to be fought all at once ? Troll or serious ? Clearly it will be challenging enough even after lvl 15 with story companion party op has .
  9. Splitting packs is cheese , better wait for lvl 16 , lvl 15-16 is when you should be doing upscalled magrans faithfull anyway , i tried with my lvl 13 MC and lvl 12 party and it was too hard without the endgame spells , when i came back at lvl 15 i got it on first try (tho i knew how the fight will go and had a clear and simple plan to stunlock them until i kill the priests , for which you need only 3 items , 2 Melee chars with overhelming wave from items and a Ranger with stormcaller ) , dont forget to use Storm of Holy Fire Spell with your priest not only on this fight , on all fights that u get from lvl 13 use that spell on hard fights u use Minor Avatar before casting this spell too
  10. You guys do know that , if u dual wield 2 soul bound weapons you reach 0 recovery by using one DAoM potion ? ( assuming u have 0 recovery from armor , or 20% recovery armor and dual-wield talent ) , If you can reach 0 recovery with soulbounds they will usually be better choice than Unique weapons
  11. Im thinking to build stag druid using similar stats and attributes as your build , i was wondering if Vulnerable Attack works with carnage ?
  12. I am eagerly waiting for that "Rogue that plays as a mage build" Boeroer mentioned somewhere in the forum sounds like fun
  13. Use that spell from bittercuts to give Bleed on your melee ranger :? I use it sometimes from my paladin to give rangers pet bleed effect for more damage
  14. Now im wondering if stacking He Cary Many Scars , Constant Recovery Cloak , Talent that buffs it , Unbending , Belt that gives 25% and Survival Bonus that gives 60% healing recieved is an overkill on a 15 con ( 10 + 2 from items + 3 from Caed Nua bonus ) Fighter :D , 21 Might and 10 INT also
  15. Druids are not the problem , biggest threat are the Priests they can cast Storm of Holy Fire Spell its level 7 priest spell , that does AoE fire damage for 15+ seconds basically if you allow them to cast this your party will die , you can heal one two or three ticks of this spell but it lasts forever and eventually you wont be able to keep everyone healed , tactic which worked for me was to stun lock all of the enemies early and kill the priests first before anything , after that its just a matter of outlasting the remaining enemies who dont pose real threat compared to Storm of Holy Fire . Looking at your party you want to : Use Ranger with DaOM potion and Stormcaller to stun everybody Use Swaddling Sheet ( cape from stronghold adventure) on monk for Overhelming Wave on crit , your monk will get crit very soon when fight starts and if you fight them in the narrow pass they all will get stunned . Actually make sure you fight them in the narrow path so you can land stuns easier on all of them at once, form a frontline that blocks enemies passage to your back line and spread ranged characters but make sure all of them can get healed by priests Consecrated Ground White Crest armor also has Overhelming Wave which you need to cast yourself so its a bit worse than Swaddling Sheet but you should put this on front liner and chain with other stuns Use durance Offensively - Cast only Crowns for the Faithfull and Holly Radiance for buffing your party and follow it up by Minor Avatar + Storm Of Holy Fire ( use their tactics against them ) after this just spam heal until fight is over , Focus all aloth long range spells on stunned priests Use GM's Amplified Wave after stuns have ended you should have enough focus by then you should be able to finish the priests this way and your Storm spell will kill remaining enemies eventualy
  16. I gladly fight anything that has no Upscalled Magran Priests seriously ... that one was overkill .. well fight fire with fire is the answer i found for them in the end
  17. Fighter built around constant recovery and regenerating health is nuts , My set up is He Carry Many Scars Armor , Cloak that modifies Constant Recovery , Belt of Bountiful Healing , and 3rd Tier healing bonus from Survival , also constant recovery talent and Unbending . So basically i killed all 3 dragons by sending my tank to solo fight them far away from the team , while my other party members clears all the adds , even after this tank got hit to 30% endurance vs Alpine Dragon he managed to recover to full health without any help thats how OP fighters self healing is , i never have to heal this character no matter how much damage he takes ,he will recover it by himself to full hp sooner or later , and if you take fighter ability that works like glorified Second Chance u will never need to worry about your fighters endurance . My build was Max Might , 10 on other stats , max Resolve If you are loosing to much health then you need to Have more DR or your Con is too low tho i never play with more than 10 con ever .
  18. If u have cipher u can start fight by flanking all the enemies at once
  19. I would like to witness some of famous flanking on Magrans Faithfull fight when u upscale WM 2 Or u can cast phantom foes , Flanking bears in act 1 is nice but doesnt really matter , and in WM having 2 bodies on 1 enemy is luxury that most of the time means fight is already over
  20. I can confirm this that Galawains Maw is broken , Sul was dead after i reached her first time ( i went to shop before doing quest tho and came back only later ) , Lion Clansmen assumed she is still alive , i ended up killing bear too because they thought sul is still alive too , which then shows that Galawain is real deal deity because apparently killing them both pleases him the most .
  21. I was wondering , if there is AI setting in PoE that i can use for easy trash encounters so my party doesnt need to be told to auto attack every time enemy dies etc . What u guys have been using ? i almost done with my playtrough and never used any AI but there was many moments where i wished my party would just keep auto attacking enemies without my intervention
  22. So my current play trough nearing the end , i was thinking to go with all carnage characters for next one . Would be nice if people could share their ideas for building Stag Druid Wizard with Blast ( Rod with 2 Projectiles ) Barbarian Off-tank who is using shield with bashing and debufs with his carnage My MC will be KW Paladin Healer ( carnage heals 0_o ) , Also i will have Ranger with Stag and Stormcaller , will try to get early bow to make this run easy and i will have main tank Chanter using Dragon and Sure Handed Ila chants assuming chanter can solo everything im probably gonna play Iron Man mode . Any help on builds welcome especially how to build Stag Druid or Barbarian never played one
  23. going back to Act 2 after WM2 must be a joke :D unless u have only the hearing at ducal palace left which then bring u to another problem - ACT3 after WM2 is faceroll+estramor loredump, killing bears staelgars and poor tribesman with soulbound weapons is diablo gameplay not PoE
