I'm obviously biased, but i suggest this http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/91276-class-build-the-anvil-the-most-tough-monk-around/ Anyway just look in the second thread of this forum, wich contains quite all the build made up by the user of this forum. Some of them have an heavy tank orientation ( es the engineer, the dull runner comes to my mind)

The problem with resonance touch is that for such an high lvl ability dmg is way too low. I mean, if you manage to reach the max of 10 counters and activate it you actually do the same or max double dmg of a normal torment reach attack ( wich hits everyone in the aoe). Moreover if you play a monk with dps orientation is also very hard to actually rech the 10 counter, because the enemy will be dead long before.

Is totally justified if you are building a barbarian, for a paladin i think too tgat tge advantages are too marginal

Afaik: - you should aim for rational 2+, honest 2+ ( useful in different place , es in the wael quest in the first city if you have deception 1+ the dwarf priestess will not belive you/ for duc's hearings if you aim to save animancy) - for sure with benevolent 3 or cruel 3 you can skip the tavern fight with the elf servant of the caed nua pretender - you need at least cruel 1+ to trow someone in the skaen pool ( this will not matter for your current run anyway)

I like a lot girdle of mortal protection. Since my char usually have some kind of regen ( vet recovery at least) and high dr , once you cover the spikes of dmg from critical strykes you are good to go also in the worst rumble. I have not tested exacly how it works, but the impression is that the effect is what Boeroer claimed ( ~ 1/3 dmg reduction of the total 150% of the critical stryke, so you actually receive more or less the same damage in case of crit or normal hit) Is also worth nothing that the girdle is the only item with such effect in the game, while there are some other sources of + const ( in the worst case you can just enchant your armour for a plain +2)

If you want to break in the op awesomness realm and exit from the solo route: the best friends for your shapeshift druid are a chanter with tge +25% fire lash chant, a priest for accuracy buffs, crowns , champions boon and prayers and eventally a paladin for tanking and +6 acc aura. Optimizing the things i managed to reach up to 350 total dmg per hit ( that means single shot trolls to frags)

Or way better: you can just pass your mouse over your char in pause and see the color of the health. Green = ok; yellow= ok (> 25% i think); red = drink a potion / stalwart defiance( < 25%), dark red = near death < 10%. No need to see an exact number, this system is good enough. I'm immune to frenzy.

The main problem of interruption Build is the minimal advantage ( and moreover it is a theoretical advantage more than a real practical one) against a build with just stunning weapons. Godshantyur stuns most opponents in your aoe, with high int and the stun debuff (-30 deflection) you can keep everyone permastunned. All while for interruption build you have to invest a lot more for stat points ( max per --> low might) and items ( lower dmg)

A wizard blast build ( ranged with a implement or kalakoths blight spell + blast) is extremly easy to build and to use, so didn't require an accurate guide i guess. Anyway you can search for the "hurtstacker" build from Boeroer that maximalize an implement wizard. Most other build uses sword+ shield just for the huge boost in deflection and reflex. You are not supposed to hit anyone with your sword since you will be busy casting op spells, but small shield + hatchet give you huge defence boost that always helps

One of the thing that made the build strong is that you couple very high hp and high fortitude. High hp render you able to tank a lot of dmg, so actually having high deflection or reflex is not stricly needed. Girdle of mortal protection synergize even more, since crits do just a little more dmg than the normal hits. And you have also a lot of DR. High fortitude render you very resistant / immune most status effect ( prone/paralyze/stun ecc) from the beginning, so most of the difficult fights magically becames cakewalks.

Anyway the longest interruption prize is won by shatterstar or there are other contenders? After a quick search: maybe mosquito rapier can be an interesting contender, 0,85 sec interruption but on a fast attack speed ( vs the avarage of hammers or 2 handers). But ofc the dmg sucks and you have not other benefits. Alternatively there is also the vile loner lance or the morningstars... But overall i still bet that a double godshantyur or godshantyur + shatterstar will be a better alternative... Stun on top of the interrupts add a lot of value... The hammers are also pretty easy and relatively fast to acquire in a solo perspective...

Tkhs for your answers. As far i remember the 0 recovery worked similar between attacks and spells right?

After all this chiper exploits, Now i want to try again a solo run with one... I think i will start with a boreal dwarf, 16 str, 16 con, 16 int... I am always in doubt between con and dex... Someone have experiece about solo run with chiper? I tried that a couple of time but i was always frustated that i was unable to use eco/ amplified wave/ body attunement so i dropped before ending. But see a dragon permastunned can be worth a new travel
