  1. Plan C2 : Chanter with dragon trashed with shield and trained with all def talents. And a priest far behind that cast some litanies/prayers, devotions, ecc ( should be able to cast 3-4 buff before die). Also if all your party get wiped out Chanter alone will do the job.
  2. You can just go in a shop and retrain, no need for hard reroll
  3. I like to have int 18 in my barbarians ( eventually 16 base +2 from items) since the aoe of carnage becomes huge enough to hit enemies that are BEHIND you, so you can hit literally everyone around you. And from lvl 11 with heart of fury you get even more reasons to hit as many enemies as possible ( every hit activate a separate carnage). Constitition can be left at 10 since you will have plenty of health anyway in a few level. Dex can be left at 10 top of dual wielding or even dumped. But there are some nice guides around, take a look in them, they will explain in detail some mechanichs of the games and how and why build your char.
  4. Thanks for suggestion, as indeed I meant single weapon and not one-handed. So, in the end which variant does sound better?:- "when not using an ability, and having single weapon (1H or 2H) or wielding a shield" - "when not using an ability and (wielding a single weapon or using a shield)" - "when auto-attacking while wielding a single weapon or shield" ... IMHO: "when not using an ability, and having single weapon (1H or 2H) or wielding a shield" IMHO: "Everytime that you are NOT dual wielding" is more clear
  5. I tested that also when trying to build something like " counselor poi " ( see the paladin build ) with a ranger. Turned out that worked with charm and most other spell, and that, paired with ranger base accuracy of 30 ( +5 vs paladin) gives you the same accuracy that paladin would have casting sworn enemy on everyone. The only problem is that beign a ranger he was not enough sturdy ( i play mostly solo run and hate kite tactics, so my char must have some tanking capacity) so in the end i abandoned the project.
  6. Thks for the awesome work maxquest. I just noted how the reload Speed bonus staks. Apparently with ranger you can stack both gunner and swift aim for a -70% reloading time. Just asking around: did someone ever tried to build a shotgun ranger with gunner and swift aim? How did it work out? Edit: so dual wielding wizard ( integrated daom) is the new official boss of spell slinging?
  7. I think it's the opposite: wounding consider DMG you do before dr, lashes After dr. I remember that against a dragon with a rogue i always did MIN dmg with the dagger but the wounding dmg were good. Should be Easy o test anyway.
  8. About best DPS weapon for every class they are indeed among the best, but consider that the "best weapon" itself depends also from the build of your char and the party and the from the dr of enemies, so there is not a clear winner. Usually the most powerful enchantmens are considered wounding > speed > lash. The matter is complicated also by the existence of weapon with special effect on crit: for example the permastun that you can reach with Godansthunyr for me give more advantages than a bit of pure DMG more. That said tusk from boar bruid works the same, and this is the reason for wich he can compare to cat druid DPS-wise. ( But tusks only have 20% wounding instead of the 25% of weapons). Another consideration to make is that actually for the druid wounding is LESS important that for other charachters, since when shifted the BASE DAMAGE is always very high, so it is less influented by enemies DR.
  9. In fact with drawn in spring vs bosses you do more dmg with the wounding than with the weapon itself, since dr is ignored by wounding while he eats up all' the slash DMG you are doing.
  10. Lol i never payed attention to the cut finger things. Where is said he will become a knights? The last time i see him is when his father find him with the dagger and scold you for giving the dagger to him
  11. It's the flag of the Eder's farming Company!
  12. Advenures are 100% turn related, visitors i don't know apparently they are tied both to times and turn, and the "quality" to prestige , but i have not tested extensively
  13. You just have to be lucky, visitors are random encounter and are related to your Prestige ( i think there are "categories" of visitors , if you have low Prestige you will get nyr or garolf the drunk, High Prestige should get you azzurro and the nobles.) This would explained why you get always the "same" visitors in different stage of the game, i start always with the drunk or nyr and get azzurro super late game usually Edit: so for maximize them is better to go up with Prestige ASAP. Also they are not only (?) Turn related but also just time related, so you can Travel between cilan lis and drywood Village to make time run fast, build your stronghold and have High chance to get visitors.
  14. Someone explored all the possibilities that can happen with the Little boy? Having 5 survival and tech him how to swing the dagger change something?
  15. I always underrated it since i considered wilder and primordial the weakest types of enemies ( while Beast and spirits the most thoug ones). But i recently changed my opinion after a run with a solo dwarf druid: in the beginning of the game it helps immensly with a vast majority of minor encounter, in wich with +15 acc you waste far less resources (spells). Also in late game +15 acc is always very useful, free scroll of valor!
  16. You can just hire a lvl 2 warrior called Odelma and pretend that he actually survived
  17. 11 mechs, no more, no less. You will also need some Dex to change the direction of the cart in the mines. Edit: for the main hidden durgan stash in the mines you have also to free a certain dwarf from the ice and read his note
  18. You can still try to sell it for 11 dollars
