  1. I runned the tests. I confirm that they are on par, a slight difference could emerge with longer tests, but anyway should be not so important.
  2. I remember that hiravias stealgear form is similar to cat but should have also an accuracy bonus ( like +4 or +8 to accuracy) but i may be wrong
  3. Just pay attention that: - enemies are actually over the corpes - you cover all corpes with the cone The invocation make the "not gibbed" cadavres ( so doesn't work for spirits, since they doesn't leave a corpes after kill) emit a dmg aoe ( with little area) centerd on the cadaver itself. So you need to pile a lot of corpes very near one to another, and for the enemies to be exactly on the cadaver, not in the cone area of the invocation. That always worked for me
  4. Probably you used a vital essence potion, for some reason it heals you quite good when you use it during fights.
  5. Having a weapon but not actually enemies against to use it is pointless
  6. I'm a bit puzzled too because of this system, that at the times of Oblivion i did't like much. But wathever, my First run will be more about rp than powerplay, so i will take it as it comes
  7. As many of you already known tyranny is about to came out at 10 november. After that day i suppose my family life and professional Life could have an important deflession for a couple of months... Just asking: we are all going to see us again on tyranny officials forum? I will miss you bunch of Epic gamers!
  8. Jojobobo was speaking of Ogre summon via Chanter invocation... Anyway you have a Priest, so between devotions for the faithful, crowns and champion boon + someone else casting scroll of valor + who is wielding hammer and redeemer drink merciless gaze you will be quite ok for score easy crits. Just buff hard before engaging them. In case send some figurine to the slaughter to soak some dmg. And if all your party swarm the Kraken and let tentacles alone, he will die very easy and fast, so no much dmg around...
  9. Is more about concentration... Beign hit is ok, beign hit and interrupted all day not. And resolve is the only way to mantain concentration at acceptable levels, unless you find a random belt, a random glove or an end game necklace. Or drink potion of spiritual shield at every fight
  10. My typical solo barb is always a costal amanua, that +20 def helps a lot from the beginning ( spectres) to the end. Sometimes i break the "solo run" just for recruiting mahea and tossing her in the Blood pool for another +10
  11. Ok so maybe my observations was a reasault of some kind of bug. One of the 2-3 i have seen was at the end of the fight, maybe also that mattered
  12. I'm using a tidefall barbarian now, and i'm too confused about both things: - after an hof there are for sure some wounding going on, but i can't understand if really the game applyes all the wounding that it should ( hof with 7 enemies around should be 7 wounding going on everyone ( about 100 dmg) but i usually see much less) - i have seen sometimes a enemy dying for wounding and the list activate to give me 0 recovery, but is inconsinstent
  13. Anyway that is never a problem in my experience, you will prevail eventually
  14. For sure no One is immune to both types, if an enemy is very resistent to both then is an animat or a dragon
  15. I have to try now... Yes both hammer set-up comes a bit later but is very appealing... Orlan interrupting barbarian on the way...
  16. Yes but there was a lance that have 1 sec interrupt, maybe that is even better.
  17. In solo potd i just turned on dragon trashed on my Chanter and drank healing potions and llengrath potions until fight was over. You can barricate the rest of your party in the room, maybe just try to put devotions of the faithful on Chanter for smooth the process, since you have Durance.
  18. Pseudo-topic: what are best interrupt weapons 1h? Mosquito, hammer, there was also a lance...
  19. Soloing with rogue is viable, but paradoxically is all about stealth and evade most fights. Still fun anyway since you feel to play a total different game. Try to slay anyone like a Chanter, wiz, monk, druid, ecc need kiting tactics or scoll abuse from midgame
  20. You are wrong. Str dmg and crit dmg works both as multiplicator of your base dmg. Es: with 20 might + a crit you do +30%+50%= +80% dmg. Not +30% x +50% . Works for normal weapons and spells. So very High might is " close " ( 30%-40% vs 50%) to a crit every hit, just for saying.
  21. The main difference between rogue and chiper ( and druids) are the full attacks. Really rogue can pile up a lot of them ( blind attack, hobble attack, fearsome strike, sap). And you can chain them. So also if " on paper" chiper deals only 10% dmg less ( whip + stingy whip vs base sneack attack), actually with the full attacks the rogue kills the target before. Chiper can attack 3 times or use a couple of powers. You usually can kill someone before sap stun effect wear off. But i agree about most of boerer previous ideas, rogue would be more fun if they had a bit more "staying power", now are too glassy. Anyway a nice class for solo ( expecially if you want also pacifist achivement) because they forced you to play the game in a totally different mood.
