If you play with w party and want a ranged chanter you should try Aefyllath Ues Mith Fyr. It add a 25% fire lash on everything ( spells included). In the end it adds to party dmg more or less as much to dragon trashed, and can be used also from the rear ( you just need to be in range of your allies, not enemies). Or you can chain lvl 1 defensive chants and spam killer froze still or ogres. A lot of choices.

I agree with Boeroer. Reaping knives on self is a kind of meh move, but actually there is no reason to forbid it. The same for stasis shell. 70 focus to have the equivalent of a lvl 1 priest spell... But again: i can't see a reason to forbid it. Like: if you have time/resources can be a nice upgrade, bot is clearly not a priority. Tkhs -

i know that i'm totally out of time, but if it is possible to give to the player the possibility to cast some chiper's power also on self, not only on ally (in particular amplified wave, soul shock, amplified thrust, pain block, going between). Thanks a lot to the job done until now -
But is confirmed that you gain only 1 spell on lvl up? Maybe it can just be like chiper powers in poe1: you alternate by choosing 1 or 2 new powers every level. In that case the problem would have been much more mitigated. Edit: moreover in poe 1 there was a lot of "extra x lvl spell" talent, maybe there will be something like that to spice up the mixture

Oh my... Just wait to be able to cast devotion for the faithful with a priest and your accuracy issues will be solved. Also take +6 accuracy aura from pala and some weapon focus. And remember to use the cc tools you have ( paralyze/prone/ stun ecc lower enemy deflection) Soon the crit rate will have an huge jump forward.

Moreover: i actually like the new mc system. The "old" system would have give players too much space to op builds. Or to put it simply: since the most powerful abilities/spell for each class are reacheble from lvl 19, this would have been a strong incentive to pick at least 1 lvl in barb ( carnage)/ rogue ( sneak attack) or chiper ( soul whip). I mean : is better to have a slight increase of power in your already powerful spells ( if they are significativelly related with your power source level) or to obtain carnage/ sneak attack / soul whip? For every kind of melee char could be a no brainer choice. Now is much somoother. Or at least, if you want particuar skills/ abilities/ passives from another class you will lose the last 2 levels of your main one. Is fair. -

Tbh, looking at stats of different Ogres from PoE1, and also how weak was Tenser's Transformation and Word of Changing in NWN2... I am a bit skeptical about Transmuter's transformation into Ogre... "While in this form, spells are disabled, but physical attributes are increased" - if wizard will be able to use the form, while being silenced from Citzal's Martial Power, and also be able to keep Citzal's Lance upon transformation, then it's other story though. Depends if the bonus from transformation stack in some way with citzal martial power or something like. Probably the transmuter will have the conjured weapon as well in the spell list. Actually one of the first thing i will try will be a transmuter wiz +/- warrior ( devoted) or barb ( any? Just looking for carnage) multiclass. Alacrity + infuse vital essence+ llengrath protection+ some kind of evocated weapon + citzal martial power + beign an ogre sound exiting. Per encounter. And carnage from barb on top. In the end all will depend from balance and how the spell are divided in the wiz "trees" -
I've got a few...:- Allow cipher to cast Pain Block and Going Between on himself - Allow cipher to cast Amplified Wave on charmed targets - Mind Wave prone duration was stealhtly nerfed 5s => 3s. Imho it should be 4s. - Mind Wave visual cone originates from caster. Should be from target. - Mind Blades is quite weak in practice: early on there is a high chance to miss/graze which will stop it's propagation. - Make Frenzy instant. It's quite annoying to have to wait for it's animation before using BB/HoF. Not to mention that AI tends to use Frenzy AFTER Barbaric Blow. - Reduce lvl requirement for rogue's Sap from 11 -> 7 or 9. - Buff Dirty Fighting: 10% -> 15%. This will increase the extra crit chance from 5% to 7.5%. - Make Vielo Vidorio speed buff, affect Pallegina as well - Ranger's Binding Roots: 5 per rest -> 2 per encounter - Ranger's Thorny Roots: single instance of 15 slash + 15 pierce damage -> 5 slash + 10 pierce per 3s - Swap damage types on Durance's Staff: crush + burn -> burn + crush - Hold the Line talent: +1 engagement => +1 engagement and +1 to endurance-to-hp coefficient OR +200 health. Uhh. This -10% armor speed penalty from ZC will definitely stack with Armored Grace (ofc the finaly penalty still won't go below zero). As for stacking with DurganizedArmor enchant / Pilferer's Grip it's hard to say. And it's better to test it. For example: - take a naked character with 3 DEX - equip him in durganized hide armor - give him two sabres/swords/maces/warhammers - affect him with this modded Zealous Charge aura - drink DAoM potion, and watch him attacking If ZC stacks with DurganizedArmor, you will have: - 5 frames delay -> 38 frames attack -> 0 frames recovery And if they don't stack: - 5 frames delay -> 38 frames attack -> 6.3 frames recovery (you will be able to notice a quick line running for 0.2 seconds; if not you can use fraps) No, Armored Grace does not affect reloading duration in PoE1. It probably will in Deadfire though. Plz, all of this, expecially the chiper part!

@boeroer: on top about what you explained, having near a chanter that sings the phrase for +25% fire lash is another jump in power, since it affects both druid strikes ( togheter with the wildstrike) and avenging storm. Of course for such druid is better to go for fire wildstrike + scion of flame. If you cast also champion boon for the might boost you can crit for up to ~350 dmg while shifted.

100% agree. If you like rogues fine, they are fun to play. But that doesn't make them any better, this is the point. The relative strenght of tge various classes is a complicated matter and in a sense also a sujective obe, since it is heavily influenced by party composition and playstile. For example the best dps in game is a druid with priest/paladin and chanter support, you will never reach something like that with a rogue. But that doesn't alone make the spiritshift build the " best" char in game. On the other side i like to play solo, and i found barbarian to be much more reliable ( more hp and endurance) and strong ( much higher dps in a crowd, and from lvl 11 you can clean entire encounter with 1 shot) than rogue, at least with my playstyle. That didn't prevent wodjee to achieve an ultimate with him. But to be honest the simple fact that him did the ultimate with the rogue was considered exeptional by itself actually because is much harder than do the same with other classes.
