  1. Version 1.1,for two files. I have a doubt : When I created Pillars 1 Legacy I have choose Leaden Key grandmaster for Aloth. But no trace of this starting item for him. So... 1) Missclick of me ? 2) The items doesn't appear. It is a bug. Thx. Sorry if it is my fault, but no way to check the file once it is done.   2. 1.1 = still happening. Validation = 100 % My main file name is Eder. I just avoid to level up Eder on the beach if this can be help.
  3. Immunity to engagement is totally useless 95 % of the game, frankly. Perhaps at the begining yes... but this spell arrive far later the beginning... ______________________ Solution 1 : Add an external boost (like Monk) Was 50 %. Too much for pillars 2 it is obvious. /2 = Target of 25 % Result : Inspiration 3 + 10 % external recovery speed = 25 % (our target) = balanced. ______________________ Solution 2 : Change inspiration 3 of dexterity Dexterity +5 20 % Crit to hit Immunity to engagement -10 % of recovery speed.
  4. In neverwinter night, there was a good idea to add a 1.5 multiplier with 2 handed Weapons. It is only in Pillars saga where you have dual wieilding > 2 handed. It is not logical. Overkill/bottleneck effect + Bonuses each weapons (Two sabres = potentially bonusesx2 with unique items) + Maximum attack are three arguments to put 2 handed on top.
  5. I say that since Backer beta 1, but you lose your time, Obsidian don't want boost it. (Fleet feet level 1 is always better)

  7. Actually the game is level google translate. No context the most of the time. UI is ruined. Resolve is level 1 of ...resolve inspirations, inversion, incomprehensibles phrases. Short, This gives the impression that it's amateurish. And Obsidian by association. The only reason of relative silence of reviewers/testers on this poiny is because all theses guys test few hours (port maje... : p ?) the most of time without check all the tooltips... (A disaster) That's why Pillars 2 did not go down...

But in fact, Obsidian have 0 beta debbugging/testing (and backer beta was only 5 % of the game WITHOUT translation). They do not do pre-test of the game, and have a reputation to create buggy games. It is a poor studio, so the quality testing doesn't exist in this kind of company. A lot of Fait une Feu attaque (Do a Attack fire ?!) nonsenses etc. Virtually it is a shame, but it is especially problematic in the UI with variables... (absolute disaster) The "bulk" text is less ruined.
  9. Personnaly I prefer games where all abilities can shine more or less. In most situation (all ?), auras cannot be justified, with theses absurd stacking rules. So I am perhaps naïve. But even with a massive nerf (again accuracy 5 -> 3) + All stack = will be better for me. 230+ defense unoptimized like Dune say.... The rules doesn't protect us from haxx visibly... So it is a false excuse. It is even a problem, penetration and accuracy can't go at the same level. Why 20 in all defenses for the fighter ? In the current situation, 10 is more legitimate. Why 50+ of deflection but 5 unfortunate accuracy don't stack : p Why obsidian, why ? My main issue with this choice is that is counter-intuitive. Optimal players will don't pick the thing, and casual gamers will take it naively and supress it 80 % of time, without know the thing...
  10. Personnally I have a simple rule. A simple feeling : I take an ability, I want an effect, even a little bonus/malus. It is psychological perhaps (or what you want), buts to me it is works better.
  11. Found ! It is a applied percentage. Base 20 xp in Solo. First recruited and left behind = 90 % of XP. [18 xp] Second recruited and left behind = 80 % of XP. [16 xp] ETC. For the exact same level and condition... So I think this is a bug. Because when I killed Eder, Xoti gain 18 XP (She becomes the "first" character remaining, was 16 XP before). So, the system is weird. There is not a another way to favor a character that is not is the team ? I explain : I am OK to say, there is no problem with guys IN the team. MORE XP for underlevel character, perfect. But here I'm talking about underlevel outside of the team. And here, the first recruited have a BIG favor. Always Eder and Xoti at least. So I think there is a sort of a... bug.

EDER : 6223 -> 6493 = 270 [Level 4] XOTI : 6212 -> 6454 = 242 [Level 4] +OTHER1 : 3000 -> 3216 = 216 [Level 3] +OTHER2 : 3000 > 3192 = 192 [Level 3] +OTHER3 : 3000 > 3172 = 172 [Level 3] A test with a simple quest. The test is simple : I'm always on solo. I take 0 companions. All are left behind. I pick them again after have acquired a small amount of XP. There is absolutely no link between them. Because if I don't recruit 2 lasts companions : eder and Xoti have same amount of XP. 270 and 242. So with 6 left behind or 2 = same thing. I have try to check or uncheck in a different order = no differences. Only explaination : FIRST recruited have a flag, second a second flag with a low priority ETC. WITH a definitive diminushing return. But with that, there is a problem : 270 - 192 = 78. 29 % less XP, and I am already with a level 3. (I need ideally MORE XP, than less for my Hired Companion...) If I want to keep Eder but don't want favor it, I can't. Eder will always get more XP. There are few people in others topics with 4 levels of difference with the left behind. This difference come to that^^... So I am pretty SURE^^ that the LIST of service is the problem : When you uncheck Eder for example, Eder will come immediatly first of the list. I think he have a flag of "preference". (= an advantageous amount of XP when left behind because first recruited.) So proposition : I am OK with this system, but why not create an element of gameplay arround of that ? Allow to the player to choose the priority list with XP ? I move Eder, to the last place, I place my hired number one. I gain now 270 XP and eder 172. Or more simple, why all the companion doesn't have same amount of XP ? It is difficult to add a proof of concept with a saved game, but a simple try with the first quest allow to show that.
  13. Yes but why Obsidian doesn't explain that ? Because in fact, it will be hurt himself : Obsidian will be forced to recognize there BONUSES more INTERRESTING ^^ than others... Yes Boeroer, you read correctly. If I say to you : OK. There is TRUE Buffs at the right. And FALSE buffs to the left. And, at the left you have triggering abilities that keep always theyre bonuses. Analyze of smart people : I take triggering abilities of the left and Buff bonuses of the right. All the rest have a risk to be supressed. End the game... Eventually you take the biggest bonus of each classes for the "false buffs" but no more.
  14. Like +5 of accuracy is inherent to zealous focus. Each ability have an inherent value. That's why people invest in X or Y. There is no rationnal explication to supressed more this or this for active abilities. It is an illusion. If not you must say : Active doesn't stack (except... !... heuuu "triggering Active abilities") = Too much complicated and not understandable. Not more than POE1, finally. And I can tell : Yes, but auras are passive. Yes ... A passive is a "bonus without intervention, without overtime". Zealous aura is that. So Active abilities are globally 50 % of "abilities with triggering" (Barbaric blow / FoD, Withering strike etc.). So say "active = don't stack" is a big lie. So in fact, the only abilities that don't stack, are "false passive abilities", classified in... active abilities : p Incomprehensible.
  15. This story of active and passive is a fake story. Flame of devotion (+10) = Active Zealous focus (+5) = Active = Stack Devotion for the faithful (+10) = Active Zealous focus (+5) = Active = Don't stack EDIT : A modal is a counterpart between a negative effect and a positive effect. So perhaps THE things who need to be stacked. Really stupid to stay with Tenacious + Half sword : You only have a pure malus and no superior bonus. Proficiency is here a pure loss, a pure malus.
  16. Obsidian cannot balance all possibilities. Often the start of the game is difficult in this kind of RPG. Because after that, you can optimize your choices. AND : 1) If this choice is irrelevant = no enough choice = no interest to play. The player have no impact on his environnement. 2) Relevant but far too much game breaker with few associations = no inteteresting to play = too easy. But in this game, there is almost open world after port maje. It is extremely hard to put the cursor at the good place. Few people will say : I want MAX difficulty BUT without "over-routing". Few other say : No... If I CAN do that, -this- must be included to the "meta" game, a new high level. (like considering that the player has found the best weapons after port-maje for example = consider this behavior like a new standard) So POE2 is complicated to Balance for that I think. PoTD is perhaps the hightest level of difficulty but he cannot be frustrating like : you must pick exactly theses and theses classes + this routing. And for example, if not, you are wrong and you lose systematically all your fights. The best example is : Gorecci alley. Few people say : I want to challenge this moment NOW because I want to play a very hard difficulty but without derived manners. (Return after few levels) Others say : If this moment is too hard, come an other day (= routing) If you are Obsidian you do what ?^^...

Y'a pas d'erreur sur ce que je m'apprête à proposer, mais peut-être que j'ai du mal avec cette appellation actuelle en français : Lieu : nom de sous-classe Lifegiver -> "Donneur de Vie" Niveau traduction littérale : parfait. Mais j'ai un doute sur l'équivalence symbolique. Pas assez connaisseur de l'anglais MAIS... Ca fait un chouya bizarre, même en français. Peut-être n'est-ce que moi mais... Je me permet de proposer autre chose (l'équipe de traduction fera ce qu'elle voudra) Je ne le prendrais pas mal si ce n'est pas retenu, ce n'est pas incorrect ou une faute lourde -même actuellement-, mais ça sonne peut-ête mieux selon moi : MP (Modification Proposée) : Pourvoyeur de Vie

You have early 8-10 with single but you have double ressources and double variety with multiclass. 1) You're casting speed and ressources are the same. 2) You have more highter choice, yes, but frankly : Pillars is the game where each step is totally different ? Very often, you have a better ability line 2 or 3, when a line 5 is just "OK". 3) Obsidian nerf all trumps cards of all classes recently. Result : There is no true "shock point" for single class (not anymore). (Like : Before, quick quick for devotion for the faithful ! Now : Ok it is just a spell give up +5 accuracy when you have an aura. "Not bad"... But game changing ? no...) So, yes recent nerf, touch far more single class than multi. -> Anyone to tell me if an item exist to increase priest ressources ?
  19. Question : there are equipement for increase the number of spells each spell level ? Actually there is only 2 ressources/spell level. Wizard have few grimoire with +1. Does this exist for priest in the game ? (I don't pay attention)

  22. I just finished a playthrough with a lot of single... Naturally I wasn't attracted by single. I know it was bad but I still tested it completely. I have understand a lot of thing. Ascertainement. 1) I am a single Priest. 2) I have 2 spells to cast (ressources) by spell level (1 to 9). 3) I have more spell to choose than multiclass each level up. 4) I have the same number of ressource (2) than multiclass. 4) But number of spell is opposite to number of possible uses. (If I have 999 differents spells and only 2 uses...) To conclude, there is absolutely no argument to take a single priest. Each level of spell don't changing the world. (was not the case with devotion for the faithful at 20 accuracy. Got sooner = G.G. = eventual interrest of single class) Few idea to improve single class : 1) Casting time / 2 for single. 6s of casting ? 3s of casting time ! You can buff far quicker ! Good ! 2) +1 spell ressource by spell level. (2 now = 3) 3) Reworking the level 8-9. Awful. 4) Two uses of Empower on encounter. With that : I buy it. A single priest worth it. If not : poop.
