  1. I'm experiencing a repeat conversation between Aloth/Iselmyr and Eder every time we rest..the one where she talks to Eder and tries to get him to kiss Aloth as a prank. Every time we rest, no matter where it is, this conversation gets triggered. I don't know what is making it repeat upon every rest. I believe when it first happened was at the Engwithian ruins with the giant construct and the missing Vailian expedition party. (I forget the name) This has been going on, even after a reload. Is anyone else having this problem? Thanks!
  2. I am currently dungeon delving in Od Nua and I replaced Edér with Kana (for his quest), and Kana is just a so much better tank than Eder while also dealing massive damage with Dragin Trashed. And summons on top... Only, I don't plan on keeping Kana for long, so I wonder if I would be better off making Aloth my second tank next to Pallegina? I don't feel very confident with only 1 tank in my main squad, I tried that in Od Nua 4/5 a bit and it was rough. Without Eder (or better: with Edér as my switcheroo companion), I would only have squishies in my main team aside from Pallegina, so I would like to make one those squishies into a tankie It's pretty much Aloth or Hirvias, and I don't see any mention of druid being a decent tank anywhere..? I read a few bits here and there that aloth CAN work as a tank, just couldn't find any guide for that..? Would making him into a tank be too extreme/niche? Or would I have to ditch all his other roles for it? Currently he is pretty much my main debuffer, with the occasional damage output, but mostly debuffing. I wouldn#t mind making him a tank+debuffer, but sacrificing both roles he currently fills seems meh to me. I asked my buddy if he knows anything, but he only played a melee Aloth in Act 1.
  3. Now, we all know that Aloth might be a bit bitchy during deadfire voyages, might be Ishiza's dropping between his grimoire pages but let's be honest, this is getting a bit out of hand. To dislike someone for something you said, that was a praise. SMH
  4. In the first game I happened to finish Aloth's companion quest before going to the White March, so I dropped him when I picked up new companions there. He remained at Caed Nua the rest of the game. Now that I've picked him up in Pillars 2, I'm trying to play him as a straight wizard class. Are there any suggestions how he should be built? I found the magic system in POE 1, with the fiddling and constant swapping of grimoires rather annoying. Now that the system's changed in POE 2 I want to try to see if I can bring Aloth all the way to the end game. My current party consists of my main character (rogue cipher), Serafen (barb), Eder (fighter), Xoti (priest) and Aloth. My party is at level 7. Thanks.
  5. The truth of the Painted Masks was a revelation that shook Aloth to the core. As he continued on his journey with the Watcher of Caed Nua, he found himself questioning his effectiveness of his work regarding the Leaden Key, and doubting in his own ability to see his cause through. But then the Defiant landed on the Black Isle, and the party arrived at the Halls Obscured. Although the Elf was as shocked as anyone else in the party at the horrors witnessed in the Collections, the seed of a whole new scheme was planted in Aloth's mind when he saw the Archives. And by the time they were done with everything they had come to accomplish and were making to leave, that seed germinated and bore fruit. After all, he may have spent much effort to little avail over the last few years trying to track down each and every cell of the Leaden Key... but if there were ever any records on where in all Eora they could be found, would they not be located somewhere in the Central Stacks? On top of that, the Watcher had just so conveniently disposed of the Oracle, the Halls' erstwhile caretaker. Plus, with the passing of Fyonlecg, there was a gap in the leadership of the Hand Occult, and the accoutrements of the Weyc were right there for his taking... With that in mind, Aloth resolved to seize the opportunity which had presented itself. In the aftermath of their encounter with Eothas at Ukaizo, Aloth claimed what he needed for his next task, bade farewell to the Watcher, and chartered a ship to his next destination. So see nothing of Weyc Engferth, for she watches you still. =================================== The Weyc Engferth, Ultimate Edition =================================== Difficulty: PotD v5.0.0.0040 -------------------------------------------------------------- Class: Wizard -------------------------------------------------------------- Race: Wood Elf -------------------------------------------------------------- Background: Aedyr (Gentry) -------------------------------------------------------------- Stats (char creation, no Berath's Blessings): MIG: 12 CON: 10 DEX: 15 PER: 15 INT: 16 RES: 10 -------------------------------------------------------------- Active Skill: Any Passive Skill: Any -------------------------------------------------------------- Weapon Proficiencies: Rapier (a) Scepter (a) Small Shield ® Wand ® Sword ® Battle Axe Quarterstaff -------------------------------------------------------------- Abilities (a=auto, r=recommended, !=important) PL1 Wizard Minoletta's Minor Missiles (a) (!) Boots: Vithrack Silk Slippers ® ----------------------------------------------------------------- When I theorycraft in Deadfire, I usually prefer to work on multi-class builds. That's because I enjoy finding synergies between the skills of both classes, and putting together something that works better than the sum of its parts. But Aloth is the only exception to that rule to date, because the Wizard's PL8 and PL9 spells are just that good, and I've yet to figure out any synergies that can match their power in either of his multiclass options. On top of that, Aloth is the only one amongst the Companions and Sidekicks who can be a single-class pure Wizard (Fassina doesn't count). Because of this, I had to search for synergies that work with him through equipment, and I eventually found that the Weyc set from the Forgotten Sanctum DLC offers a truly powerful synergy with Aloth like nothing else I've seen so far. Therefore, while Aloth is always an asset to the party throughout (because Wizard), he becomes practically indispensable after FS, especially for the toughest encounters in the entire game. (Note on “Ultimate Edition” builds: With the release of the Ultimate Edition on PS4 and XBox, there will be many first-time players of Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire who will be searching for builds online, only to find that most available builds were created for earlier versions of the game. While many of those are still viable even in the final version of Deadfire, this would not be apparent to new players; thus, builds such as this will be tagged as “Ultimate Edition” to indicate that they’ve been tested for version 5.0.0 of Deadfire, including all DLCs.) The Wrath of the Weyc And it all stems from a couple of simple interactions; when soulbound to a Wizard like Aloth, The Weyc's Wand offers the Wael's Sight enchantment, which converts 100% of Misses into Grazes on an Empowered attack. Which doesn't sound all that powerful, to be sure. But here's the thing; it applies to every single missile that's produced by the PL9 Wizard spell Minoletta's Missile Salvo. That means it doesn't matter how high an enemy's defenses are, Aloth... Just... Can't... ****ing... ...Miss. Of course, Aloth can only pull this off once per encounter, so even that isn't enough to take out the Megabosses by itself. But while the sheer damage that a laser-guided Missile Salvo can do is spectacular in its own right, the true value lies in its synergy with the Least Unstable Coil; the Empowered Being enchantment that's also activated with the Empowerment of Minoletta's Missile Salvo gives a random Tier 3 Inspiration with every hit scored by a spell. And apparently not only do Grazes count for proccing it, but Empowered Being activates for every single laser-guided missile produced by the Salvo. This means that after the Wael-Empowered Minoletta's Missile Salvo hits, Aloth will achieve demigod mode with all six Tier 3 Inspirations active on his person. And giving Aloth the Robes of the Weyc means his Empowerment of Minoletta's Missile Salvo also activates the Omnipotence enchantment on the armor, which gives the Brilliant Inspiration to all nearby party members as well. So keep a Priest nearby Aloth when he fires it off, and you can spam Salvation of Time to extend Aloth's demigod-hood until the end of the encounter, no matter how long it lasts. At this point, the only question left is; how well can you make use of all that power while it lasts? Final Thoughts Pros: Empowerment gives a single use of Minoletta's Missile Salvo that can bypass all defenses, even that of the Megabosses. It also gives Aloth Energized, Robust, Swift, Intuitive, Brilliant, and Courageous in one go. It even gives nearby allies Brilliant as well, so a Priest can keep all his Inspirations going with Salvation of Time spam. For the cherry on the cake, this build can be replicated by any Watcher or hireling Wizard with better-optimised Races and Attributes. Cons: Cannot be replicated with Wizard multiclasses (no access to PL9 Wizard spells), Conjurors and Transmuters (no access to Evocation), or Blood Mages (no access to Empowerment). Doesn't do anything to help with the stick up Aloth's arse, unfortunately.
  6. I just completed my second try of РoE with all addons, get perfect final with all good decisions and prepare for journey PoE II ... but fate of Aloth worries me. I suppressed Iselmyr because I think that there is nothing good in split personality and it's unnatural. But I like humor and now I often see information about how much funny dialogs I will lose in PoE II without her. So I want to change decision and return Iselmyr back, may be I can just somehow make changes in last save files to get it? (like it made here https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/90887-quick-tutorial-how-to-change-the-wm2-ending/ with eyeless ) Will I lost something if I reconstruct history in PoE II game editor? (don't want to do this, because all is perfect in my saves except point with Iselmyr) Or may be I to much thinking about it and this is not so significant? And it's interesting to hear what difference will be between keeping or destroying leaden key by Aloth. Will glad to hear your thoughts about it, thanks!
  7. Hi, here are a couple of small bugs with (anti-Leaden-Key) Aloth's approval system: 1. Talking to Rabyuna with Aloth and Tekehu in the party, Aloth disapproves of a Tekehu's prideful response, but the Watcher gets negative approval. 2. Asking Tekehu "What do you hope to gain by finding Ngati's covenant on Ukaizo?" has him give a pro-autonomy response, so Aloth approves... every time. It's not just cosmetic, it actually raises the total score. 3. Also, there's no quotes for any of his reactions to Autonomy. Here's a save game file from The Wild Mare where these conversations haven't been initiated yet, so you can reproduce the bugs easily. Dxdiag and output log are attached below. output_log.txt DxDiag.txt
  8. Hey all, first time poster here. I know it has been mentioned both on here and on reddit before (though from a quick scan of the forums here none too recently), but I feel it's still worth mentioning again. During my playthrough I decided of my own freewill to deal with the slavers at Crookspur - they were slavers, they needed killin'. After the deed was done, Rauatai approached me to say they were taking the island. This was before accepting Onekaza's quest to recruit the Wahaki, which never appeared in my questlog when I did accept it, or even visiting the Wahaki for Aloth's quest. Anyway, upon finally visiting Ori o' Koiki and speaking to the chieftain for the above quests, she immediately got pissed about Rauatai taking the island after I told her I dealt with Crookspur, and refuses to speak to me further. I can't speak to her about the Painted Masks or helping the Huana. This was 2 months ago. I was hoping after several patches it would be fixed, but no dice. I know you guys are busy, but this is pretty game-breaking stuff for me and I'm assuming several other players as well - I can't complete the game with my preferred faction, and I can't complete the quest involving a companion who has been in my party the entire game. Hopefully something can be done about this? I know you can murder the chieftain at least for the Painted Masks, but I don't feel that should be my only option. I've attached a save file below for reference. Thoughts?
  9. I've been wondering how to build Aloth in Deadfire. From what I understand, wizards are a class that DOES have strong benefits for staying single-class, namely some VERY powerful spells in the top tiers. On the other hand, multiclassing is pretty darn fun, and some companions can become quite powerful when they multiclass, as Pallegina and Tekehu demonstrate in the excellently written Tuono e Fulmine and Tāwhirimātea, The God of Storms builds (P.S. You're awesome Ascaloth!). So...what about Aloth? Is it better to keep Aloth as a single-class wizard? Or would it be better to convert him to a Battlemage (multiclassing him with Fighter) or Spellblade (multiclassing him with Rogue), and if so which of the two multiclasses is better?
  10. Hey guys, this is my first time playing Pillars, I have XP with RPG's (Baldur's, NWN, Fallout's + I'm an D&D Master, so I'm playing on Hard). I created a Meadow Folk Aedyr Dissident Wizard, and since I wanted to roleplay I tried to not min/max attributes (I was also very lucky to discover that Might wasn't STR otherwise my wizard might have gotten that attribute below 10). I have Mig: 12, Con: 9, Dex: 13, Per: 14, Int: 15, Res: 12 I only got a 15 in Intelligence, because it was only used for AoE and Duration of Spells, which didn't sound very appealing.. Also I didn't want to get low Resolve, since a Watcher and a Leader needs to have this atribute above average. Well, my first mate was Aloth, which wasn't great (2 wizard seemed really squishy), luckily I then grabbed Eder, later Durance and after that Kana. I'm lvl 5 atm and going down to Endless Paths of Od Nua 6 after killing the drake, though I should probably go to Defiance Bay (haven't been there yet). Now, I would like to know two thinkgs: 1) Is it possible to use my mage as a Spellsword? I want to differentiate it from Aloth (which I want to do the CC) since now both mages look very similar (both have Arcane Assault and Scepter, and a Rapier as a 2nd weapon. I got talents in Blast & One Handing Style and Aloth in Blast and Weapon Focus: Noble. If it's possible, can you link a spellsword build? Also, Aloth is using his Armor which has like 30% recovery and I'm using Rundl's FInery (15% recovery but +2 Int). But If I want him to do CC and me to do some rapier work, I should change those items, right? If Spellsword isn't recommended with those stats, what is? 2) I like my party, having Durance is a little like having Edwin in BG1. He restores endurance and does some dmg (I'm still using his staff and robe and the talents I took were Brilliant Radiance and Inspiring Radiance). Eder tanks everything (Weapon & Shield + Hold the Line with Ilfan Byrngar's Solace and Resolution or Gaun's Share & Larder Door. Me and Aloth do some dmg. And Kana chants, summoning stuff (Ancient Memory + Beloved Spirits, and he either gets the 3 skeletons, the white worms and has some cc on The Thunder Rolled..) with Justice as his double handed sword. But I noticed their stats are somehow polarized, so I was trying to get best builds for them. Is there any guide for their best talents and abilities? Thanks!!!
  11. I don't know if this is an intended outcome or not, but here's what I did in my game. 1) Followed the Vailian questline and went to Crookspur. Killed the pirates there and freed both groups of slaves. 2) Went to Ori o Kohiki and spoke to Rusana. She informs me that the Ruataians have taken over the island, which I do not know is intended or not since I was not following the RTC storyline. 3) No matter what choice I select with her, she refuses to talk to me any longer. I cannot read her soul and continue Aloth's quest. 4) Furthermore, it seems intended that I can kill her by poisoning her fruit, but this does not seem to have any reactivity. I'm not sure if this is a bug, poorly thought out questing or an intended consequence of quests I haven't done. I'd love some input, thanks!
  12. I read on a different post earlier in the week that someone was having an issue on Ori O Koiki with speaking to Rusare after doing Crookspur and having the RDC move in. I didn't realize this would be an issue otherwise I wouldn't have done it 10 hours ago. I went to Ori O Koiki after getting Aloth to tell me more about Painted Masks and went into the sactum to speak with Rusare. I had the option after seeing the mural of asking her about Thaos and Face Paint but was told to have patience and to not waste everyone's time. Then I go into the same dialogue where I tell her Master Kua is dead then use the diplomatic approach to have her not kick me out but after that I go to her and she tells me to go away. There is no way to read her soul to further the quest. I have tried Validating my files, reloading the autosave, and trying different options for dialogue but it all ends the same way. This is a known bug and has been for a couple of months now and I saw that you guys say its fixed but its not. And my game is up to date. Just thought I would let you know that I am still having an issue with it and this is game breaking for me. I'm too far in to just go back that far and I don't have the time to do it. I'm a little heartbroken since I'm romancing Aloth. I don't want to have to kill her either. Will there be another hotfix soon?
  13. I'm having trouble finding Aloth. I don't know if it's a technical issue or if it is supposed to be like that. I read several guides and they say Aloth should have been at the Engwithan Digsite. I already finished that quest. He wasn't there and I didn't get any dialogue to recruit him. What do I do wrong? I already lost Eder in the first chapter so I'm short on companions. I need him.
  14. I managed to get Aloth's disposition to -1 and dialogue for that did not trigger at all. After that I lowered his disposition to -2 but the dialogue for -1 disposition was triggered (the one with the inevitable "but"). Version 1.2.2.0033, save file just after the dialogue https://www.dropbox.com/s/47hgtachq3qlkan/Phargott%20%28KahangaPalace%29%20%28c11e5e69-e41d-49f6-9e9f-93a5fead378a%29%20%28918582860%29.savegame?dl=0 Screenshot:
  15. So I finished Aloths personal quest, got his reputation with me to 2, and his dialoge for 2 reputation won't initiate. I spend hours walking from place to place, resting, waiting, trying to chat him up, trying to get the reputation down and then back up with cheats, tried to finish some quests in hopes something might get the game to finaly recognise that the convo didn't strike. To no avail. I am desperate for an solution right now, it's hard enough to get him to 2 rep with him beeing the only companion not having 4 things he like, for some strange reason, and when I was playing on patch 1.1 i got that convo without problems. Now I started anew on patch 1.2 and it just won't work. Anybody got any ideas? Like literally anything, I am so tired with these game bugs that it's stoping to be fun to play at this point, shame since it's a really good game.
  16. Happens in the middle of the conversation triggered by Aloth disposition for Tekehu reaching -2. Watcher-"He's loud and boastful, and you don't like that." Aloth-"Well, of course not." Watcher-"Remind you of Iselmyr?" Aloth-"Fye, nae half so pretty." Aloth-"Please. Iselmyr may be uncouth, but at least she has some mettle." This doesn't seem right. Iselmyr freely interrupting a dialogue, and the thing being casually ignored, doesn't seem appropriate for a suppressed-Iselmyr-Aloth. Savegame just before the conversation: https://www.dropbox.com/s/80dxmy0hm5zcaxf/Iselmyr.zip?dl=0
  17. 1) We are in 1.1 for the creation of this Legacy. (Manually in POE2, it is not a save of POE1) 2) In this Legacy, I choose Leaden Key grandmaster for Aloth 3) I don't have the intended item in the inventory of Aloth (Thaos Headdress) = BUG https://pillarsofete...haos'_Headdress Legacy file + Save in attached files. Legacy+Save.zip
  18. Collapsed tunnel encounter: Aloth reacts negatively to every choice. The only way to avoid the negative reaction is not speaking to the workers at all, but that requires the player to be a clairvoyant. The Watcher helps the workers with the debris? Aloth reacts with "Irresponsibility" The Watcher decides against helping, steps back and looks for a different path? Aloth reacts with "Irresponsibility" Save attached. You can trigger the encounter by traveling to The Brass Citadel. https://www.dropbox.com/s/qkmxtsid4s9pm7e/Tunnel_Encounter.zip?dl=0
  19. Version 1.1,for two files. I have a doubt : When I created Pillars 1 Legacy I have choose Leaden Key grandmaster for Aloth. But no trace of this starting item for him. So... 1) Missclick of me ? 2) The items doesn't appear. It is a bug. Thx. Sorry if it is my fault, but no way to check the file once it is done. I'm sure I have chose Leaden grandmaster.... https://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Thaos%27_Headdress Legacy+Save.zip
  20. I don't know if this has been discussed or if this is the right place to post it, but since most fan feedback here seems to be negative and the the Deadfire Stories forum is a place to "discuss your favorite stories about your playthroughs of [Deadfire]," so... Okay! Going for it! Thank you so much for making Aloth romance-able in Deadfire! <3 I know a lot of people had their hearts set Eder and were really disappointed, and I truly feel for them. It also seems like a lot of people prefer Tekehu, and that's totally cool too. I'm very endeared to him myself. But Aloth has been far and away my favorite character of this series since the first game, and my "canon" Wild Orlan Watcher has been heel-over-head in love with him since practically the moment they first met in my first playthru. It always seemed foolish to hope for, since the devs always seemed to take a dim view of video game romances (and even mocked a number of times in different places), and a large part of the fandom scorns and ridicules it. Plus... my vote tends to be the death kiss of any character. If I want them to be romance-able, they're sure not to be. If I want them to live, they're sure to die. If I want them to return for a sequel, they never do. So since I loved Aloth so much, it seemed like, "Well, now that I like him, of course he won't turn up for the sequel." And when he was announced I thought, "Well, of course he won't be romance-able." Then when I learned he was I thought, "Well, of course he won't be into my short, hairy wild orlan." And, I kid you not, I hyperventilated, squeed, and swooned when I found out I was wrong, I was so happy! I know it's such a silly thing, but I feel like it really does enhance the story. To me, video games are interact-able stories, not just stylized combat simulators. And I like stories that are more than just "kill kill kill!" More than just "crawl through a dungeon, kill everyone there, loot their trousers, sell their trousers, then buy slightly better weapons and armor to do it all over again." I like stories that also have a very "human" and emotional element. I like games that at least give players the option to explore other facets of the human condition than just "kill, loot, trade, repeat." (But obviously let them skip it if the player is not interested.) And, to me, companion relationships, friendships, and, yes, romance is another avenue to add to that emotional element. And the Aloth Romance feels that much more special to me because we're building off the relationship he and the Watcher developed in the first game. In the first game, I loved all the companions (except Durance ) and their stories and character development. Aloth was just something special. It warmed my heart and made me want to cry, learning about his past, why he was the way he was, and helping him slowly learn to trust the Watcher. I loved that when the Watcher first encounters him in Gilded Veil he's "scared, alone, and desperate for direction." And how he slowly, timidly opens up to the Watcher and asks for help with his Awakened soul. And how, in his personal quest, he slowly lets down his tightly held guard and reveals more about his past. How the Watcher can hold his hand and assure him he's okay when he's lost in one of the worst memories of his life, and help him make sense of Iselmyr because he trusts and respects your opinion. How he confides in you about his past with the Leaden Key, so obviously scared that you'll hate and reject him like everyone else in his life. And how the Watcher can assure him, "I forgive you, Aloth. But I want you beside me, not behind me. I won't have you trade one master for another." How the Watcher can help him become more assertive and confident, gain a sense of control and independence in his life, and help him find new purpose and direction. And I love how that character development carries over into this game. How Aloth's character growth from the last game (embrace or suppress Iselmyr, take over or take down the Leaden Key, etc) gets acknowledged and built on here. And, yes, how that ties into the romance. I'm sure most of you don't care about my endless squee-ing and gushing or how all these little moments warmed my heart. So, just from a writing perspective, I LOVE all the little touches to the romance that either call back or build from their relationship in the first game. I love how when she first flirts with him he thinks she's joking, due to being sassy in the first game? (Don't know if he says "I'd forgotten how much you like a good joke. Even one at my expense," even if your Watcher didn't have a Clever reputation, but it felt immersive for my sassy little orlan.) And when she says she's not kidding, our characteristically wary elf with low self-esteem thinks she can't POSSIBLY be serious, and is almost afraid to hope. And then he slowly warms up to her as she gains his approval and trust (as ya do, cuz it's Aloth <3) and for their first kiss he seems torn between wanting to push her away and draw her close, and finally settles on tentatively placing his hands on her back and the back of her head, muscles straining like he doesn't dare pull her close. And lets her know that he's spent so long hiding parts of himself from others that he doesn't feel comfortable committing to a full relationship. And... Spoilers... How their relationship can progress from that. How, once Aloth gets more comfortable with the Watcher, he often holds their hand or seems like he wants to hold their hand, which seems like a nice call-back to when the Watcher could hold his hand during his personal quest in the first game. I love how when he starts talking about their uncertain future, the Watcher can say, "I'm glad to have you here beside me, Aloth," which seems like a nice call-back from when the Watch told him they want him beside them, not behind them in the first game. For the final kiss before the end-game, this time he has no problem pulling you close, showing how much he's come to trust you and let you in. And that's just the tip of the iceberg for me! It's all just so well-written, and ties so well into his ongoing character development and strengthening friendship with the Watcher over two games. It wouldn't have been possible if we just met him this game (obviously), or if romance was barred at all. And I'm just so happy it was possible. Thank you very much, everyone at Obsidian. Thank you for this opportunity. It really enriched my Deadfire story roleplay experience. <3
  21. Hi! Just played through POE1 again to get myself immersed in the world before Deadfire hits. I played my character as a passionate, dissident guy, a kind of revolutionary idealist, and when Aloth revealed his connection to the Leaden Key I banished him, since I thought it would make my story a little bit more interesting. This made me feel so bad about what I had done, so I wonder, is there a way to find him somewhere in the world and ask him to return? Kind regards!
  22. Just recently started playing Pillars of Eternity and I really like it, but this bug has me going insane. This bug seems to have something to do with Aloth. After I recruited Hiravias I dismissed Aloth. Short while after, I sent Hiravias off to free some slaves, so I wanted Aloth back. I tried over and over again to recruit him, but It just created another naked clone of him. For some reason It always seems to work the eighth try, but he doesn't remember any spells. (It also caused me to get "The watcher with eight friends" achievement) If you dismiss him again, It's just as hard to get him back. I can only enter the second floor of Brighthollow with Aloth in the party, anyone else and the game quits to the main menu. Is there a fix or am I forced to start over. If so, what might be the reason for this bug, so I can avoid it. Thanks
  23. I'm not sure whether these two bugs are related, or separate, but I will report both in the same post. 1. Aloth can't join the party If I try to add Aloth to the party he will appear as an allied NPC that I can talk to, but he doesn't show up in the party. E.g., I can't view his inventory or profile etc. Also, he has no clothes. This only occurs with Aloth, all other party members work fine. If I try to add other party members together with Aloth, they may or may not show up in the party. 2. Can't enter 2nd floor of Brighthollow If I try to go to the second floor of Brighthollow in Caed Nua, the game takes me back to the main menu and notifies me that "There was an error loading the next map. Returned to Main Menu to prevent save game corruption". A link with a save, as well as the Player.log-files when I attempt to do either of the aformentioned can be found here.
  24. I noticed that Aloth's intelligence is locked at 18 no matter what gear I put on him. I have a +1 Int hat, +2 Int hat and a +1 Int pendant. I've tried them all, but no matter what combination of gear, his intelligence stays the same, and won't go higher than 18. Is this a bug. Is it actually 18, or just a mistake in the character screen, and behind the scenes he gets the benefits? The gear totally works on other people (like Kana, or anyone else), but it seems Aloth gets no benefit from it. Am I missing something? Is this an error from having a saved game that has been carried through the steam patches? Is there a workaround or a reset?
  25. After saving the girl in the temple, Aloth stays hooked and disappears from the group, I resigned to continue without him but every time I change me on the map, I can not talk to or anything. What I can do?
