  1. Just use any enchanted helmet that you can find. Argwe's Adra helmet or White Crest helmet are both fine. He Carries many Scars as well.
  2. Hehe - yes ok. But how can one explain this? If the duration was shorter because of RES and thus dps higher I could understand - but overall damage, too? I can't imagine the weird mechanics behind this. Is Deep Wounds also profiting from low INT? Because in PoE it was not. Man now I want to build a Scout with 3-> 1 INT (from -8 item), Deep Wounds + Wounding Shot and wounding weapon.
  3. Ok. Now I understood what you meant. Yet there are exceptions to "two [active] buffs to x will not stack". For example Vigorous Defense or Llengrath Safeguard or Circle of Defense will stack with Mirrored Image (was mentioned in the OP : thumbsup:). Which is bad. I mean it's good for your char of course, but bad for consistency. Internally it might be that +x to all and +y to deflection are two different groups, but which "normal" player can understand let alone suspect this?
  4. I don't know the exact range, but the cone is pretty wide and the range is not too short.
  5. No. As I said: Duality of Mortal Presence raises INT directly and supresses the INT bonus of INT inspirations. Devotions raises ACC directly but does not supress the PER bonus of PER inspirations. Attack Speed bonus + DEX inspirations: sure.
  6. Yes. Sort of. I think not the actual quest - but you have to take him to Fort Deadlight. Because if not you there will be no Remaro in Sayuka. And if there's no Remaro in Sayuka you can't finish Serafen's quest. But only if you finish his quest you will get Fire in the Hole. Finishing his quest is fairly easy and can be done really quickly: take Serafen to the chest in Fort Deadlight (not Dunnage), go to the Luminous Bathhouse and speak with the lady in the upper left corner of the map, go to Sayuka and speak with Remaro in the harbor. Done. I think. You can put him into your party, sail to Deadlight (even if Benweth is already dealt with - I believe it's only the chest what triggers Serafen's quest - hope I'm right), sail to Neketaka, sail to Sayuka. Takes maybe 10 minutes or so.
  7. Wounding and some other DoTs still work like that today (lower INT with fixed damage = higher DPS - in case of non-raw dmg also higher overall damage because fewer but higher ticks that can overcome DR more easily. See Goldpact Knight's burn DoT with FoD).
  8. No. But it won't jump around corners or sideways. The second enemy has to be behind the first (in a rel. wide cone). So always shoot the first enemy in the pack who's standing next to you. It also has a range. And again the General Discussion forum? Ts ts ts...
  9. However, with Espirs you trigger Ghost Blades on every kill. Imagine Amplified Wave triggering Ghost Blades killing an enemy triggering Ghost Blades and so on... And since holding a two handed weapon doesn't slow down your casting...
  10. Right, +INT/CON from Duality of Mortal Presence will not stack with Inspirations (Smart,Fit etc.) - active. +MIG from Helwalker stacks with everything - passive. So far so good I think. Accuracy Bonus of Devotions stacks with Perception Inspirations (or did so at release).
  11. I think you could improve damage output while ascended even more if you switch to the Espirs Estoc or Oathbreaker's End. Because the AoE dmg on kill gets triggered by spells as well and gets all bonuses from the weapon and weapon skills. May not be intended, but still. By the way: Blood Thirst's 0 recovery "option" stays for 10 sec. That means your next attack that will have 0 recovery must be within 10 seconds. Then the effect ends. Blood Thirst does not give you 0 recovery for 10 seconds straight for all attacks that you might be able to squeeze in (that was the case when I tested it somwhere prior to 2.0). This is usually no big drawback because with every cast there's someone dying, triggering it again.
  12. All you need is Draining Whip as an Ascendant. Don't touch the other focus related stuff.
  13. Stoic Steel has a cap of +3. It's not limitless. However, it stacks with everything (also other passives that do +AR like Thick Skinned), so: not bad.
  14. Gilded Enmity lasts for 7 hits. But since you can get a refund of zeal if you kill the sworn enemy, you usually can recast this very often. Of course no Brand Enemy then.
  15. When you use it on a tank (for example Unbroken/Trickster) and pair it with lots of engagement slots and Persistent Distraction and another riposting ability from an item (Tuotilo's Palm or Akola's Apex Ward) it's not bad - because you'll get Deathblow-Ripostes and your defelction, combined with enemies' debuff, will be very good. It needed to be better in PoE (30% on graze, 20% on miss) because the PoE rogue youldn't reach such high deflection numbers as a Deadfire rogue can. It's not supergood but in certain situations it's not as bad as I first thought.
  16. wait are you telling me that the 3 Int Deep Wounds Rogue from the first game's release actually works here that's ridiculous Only an amateur would use 3 INT. You want 1 INT. There was a list (from MaxQuest maybe?) that contained all abilities that behave in that stupid "less INT=higher dps" way. If I remember correctly Wounding Shot and Disintegrate were among them.
  17. With that little intellect your frenzy is going to be more of a temper tantrum. Take Blood Storm - problem solved
  18. Hm, no idea. Maybe not and it's just "common knowledge" carried over from PoE. Like the trap rule.
  19. I so hate it. Trying to backstab - dude makes a sidestep just because why not - miss. Dammit!
