You mean all nine are Drunken Monk? Wonder how that works as a Wizard subclass... "Fan of Rum-infused Flames!"- Countdown shenanigans on Obsidian's homepage
I would love a Firefly RPG made by Obsidian (there's already a tabletop version). But those ads are more "fallout-ish" - meaning they combine futuristic elements with the vibe of the 50's. I still like the overall vibes of those ads though. The looks, the sound, the rustles... Looks promising to me.- Fallout 4 and 76: Cautionary Tales
"Fallout of the Old Republic" would be my favorite.- Josh Sawyer's tweets and teasers, part IV
Boeroer replied to Amentep's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I have no problems reading it. I also didn't think it was a bug. I just thought "Hm, I guess those jaunty frills don't look thaaat good...?" while frantically searching the corresponding checkbox. Yeah... I'm so sorry Josh!- Looking for build advice - Assassin/Skaen priest

Hello. Unfortunately Obsidian Entertainment did not develop the console version of PoE but Paradox did on its own. Hence the people here might not be able to help you. You can find the technical support forum for PoE for consoles on Paradox's website: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?forums/pillars-of-eternity-bug-reports.990/ Hope this helps!- Dual Wielding Ranged & Melee
Boeroer replied to Ælfwine's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)If it's a full attack that works with melee and ranged weapons then the char will execute the full attack at melee range with both weapons. At least last time I tried. Might have changed.- Suggestion: Separate Weapon Proficiency Points from Level Up Points
Boeroer replied to FacesOfMu's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I think first of all there are plenty of weapon proficiency points to use (if you are not a Devoted). Secondly weapon proficiencies don't do much besides adding a modal that is not very impactful in most cases anyway. A case where you want to have them is Confident Aim. They do not make you generaly better with the corresponding weapons. And then: for the rare cases you really can't use any of your picked weapon proficiencies and it makes a difference for your char in combat - there's retraining. So the problem is not really pressing in my opinion. But I agree that it would be cool to be able to only "partially" retrain: only the last x levels or only proficiencies or so. That's not a bad idea. Unfortunately, like I said above, I don't think that the problems are so pressing that we will see a change in this matter (via patch). Maybe this is moddable though?- Chanter Phrase cap
It was the same in PoE. If you didn't pick one of the highest lvl invocations (that grew in costs with every tier) at lvl-up your phrases wouldn't accumulate to the same amount as if you had. You can file a bug report. It's not a bug but it's a mechanical issue that's unfair and kind of stupid, too. The number of stacked phrases should be tied to PL or char level but not which invocations you picked.- Fallout 4 and 76: Cautionary Tales
This is very low Sonic. And I will explain: I mean trying to disingeniously drag a statement into a controversial direction where it's supposed to be torn apart. "Can two men have sex?" - "Why? You hate gay people???" If I didn't explain explicitly what I meant your next move after my statement (that it's low) would have been that you'd accuse me that I said LGBT is low. It's not only disingenuous but also clumsy. If you want to go ahead with this then be my guest. Just know that it paints a picture of a flawed ethical code.- Sci-Fi, Shoulder-Cam Action RPG next!
Since you ask: - Stop claiming to present facts or truth when you are not. - Stop claiming to speak for everyone. For starters...- Dual Wielding Ranged & Melee
Boeroer replied to Ælfwine's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Maybe. But then you have to manually maneuver your char into melee range. Because if you don't do that he will only use the ranged weapon/will not move to engage. And that's the annoying part for me. Same thing when I summon Minor Blights and use it with an offhand dagger: as soon as enemies engage me I will not be able to use the Blights on them anymore. Meh...- Deadfire won't win RPG of the year (VGA's)
Boeroer replied to SonicMage117's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I'm ok with backing it. I have no problem with supporting Larian. But I threw Original Sin 2 into a corner after a few hours - and never looked at it again.- Ship Combat Maneuvering For Position
Boeroer replied to Ælfwine's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)That's true, it's not. I asked the same question when the game came out by the way (I mean something like "why can't I steer a fast ship around a slower one?").- What did you do today?
Ouch, you have my sympathies. Remember doing something similar myself, getting the knife stuck in the bone was the worst part. Uah, brrr - no, it wasn't that bad.- What did you do today?
Ouch. Is your cat rel. young? Mine also did that when she was young(er). She even jumped onto my back and clawed her way up when I was stitting at my desk. At some point she stopped doing all that stuff. So maybe you're lucky and it will get better.- Fallout 4 and 76: Cautionary Tales
No, it's a weird response because you answered to a comparative question as if it was the original one - which it is not. And that's obvious to anybody who can read properly. Doesn't matter if the comparison was fitting or not. If you wrote that weird response as a kind of disciplinary measure then just say so. Still stays weird though. His fact check may have been strange, but it wasn't irrelevant. It just showed that you did a false claim - and a very presumptuous one at that. Since that is not the first time you call your mere opinion facts or truth it was relevant. Especially because you called for a fact check yourself.- Sci-Fi, Shoulder-Cam Action RPG next!
Maybe. But if people say "No", "I don't want that" or "Not for me" we can savely assume that they don't agree. Reading that (?) and then claiming that everybody agrees doesn't leave the most honorable impression. - Dual Wielding Ranged & Melee
