Wife's family is more split than ever now. The ones that support Russia don't want to hear anything contrary to their beliefs and get really angry when you ask them to explain their position after complaining that no one is taking their view into account. The only bright spot is my wife's aunt in St Petersburg, she says there's nothing she can do about so why discuss it. That's not great but better than the indignation you get from everyone else. Cousin in Ukraine was nearly killed the other day when Russia struck Kiev during the UN visit.

I revisited Pepsi Nitro once I got my hands on the non-vanilla version. This one is much better and less sweet. It's still diabetes inducing but tastes more like Pepsi. I also bought a bottle of Lagavulin 8 year. I was so close to springing for the 16 year but I swear it's about 40 bucks more than I remember it being.

Nuggets are out and now I'm torn because I want Kerr to win but Curry to lose. -
I had to kill a couple of spiders in my office the other day. Normally I'd just remove them and take them outside but they had me surrounded and I recognize military tactics when I see them. Plus my office is literal literally, as opposed to figurative literally, a closet in the basement, so there wasn't room for all of us in there. I'm pretty sure Australia is some kind of alien experiment.

First thing I did was move it back to the left too.

I heard it's super buggy and much harder than the base game. I'm waiting for some patches -
Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 4

Judging by all the LGBTQ content they put in their games I can't imagine they toe the official Russian line. Obviously everyone can and should decide for themselves but I'll continue to support them until they do something I find objectionable. -
I think my MiL goes half and half as well. My mom used Miracle Whip often, way more often than mayo and she was regarded as the best cook in the family and my family is humongous. She's the reason I'm a decent cook, just by watching her work. I swear that in school my teachers would think up assignments where we had to bring food in just so they could eat whatever my mom made. Strongly considering getting that spice rack too

I'm coming out. I love Miracle Whip and I don't care who knows it. I have to live my truth.

Doesn't everything trigger protests in France? France not protesting would be newsworthy

So when I was a wee lad way back in the dark ages of the mid to late 80s and early 90s I grew up with a kid that was very, very obviously different and often had a really hard time because of it. Just because they were too young to be sexual at the time didn't mean that they and all the rest of the kids didn't pick up on the fact that they were different. I don't know anything about this bill but I do know that they got a lot of support at school from teachers, aides, and counselors and if they had not gotten this their life may have turned out more tragic than it already did, at least last time I heard about them, was probably a decade or more by now, they transitioned and were mostly disowned by their family and a fell into drugs and prostitution.

Honestly, it's not a very large sample size (basically 2 households, one in eastern Russia and one in western Russia) and my wife has to translate most of it for me because my Russian is terrible and these topics always lead to fights so are largely avoided but I'll try. 1) The Moskva came up because my wife's uncle is a proud Captain 1st rank (retired). He holds a view like what you posted, the ship sank because of an accident and not because Ukraine attacked it but also that they must avenge it and make Ukraine pay. It might be important to note that he lost his eldest son on the Kursk and that also colors his views on top of being a proud Russian naval officer. 2) It's entirely glossed over, there is no contradiction. Putin is in Ukraine to save Russian lives and reports of dead Russians are propaganda and also acceptable for the greater good and it's also payback for the 2014 Odessa clashes and other incidents were Russians and pro-Russia supporters have been killed. Though their view of those incidents tends to vary pretty wildly from what I've read about them but I honestly can't say if their sources are better than mine or not. I hope that helps a little bit. I'm trying to be fair to them despite strongly disagreeing with them, they are family after all.

Just that I agree that we should be very skeptical of reports of the "Russian position" on things especially when the reports are so contradictory but also that I found the post funny because my own Russian family members actually do hold a lot of very contradictory beliefs* on the war in Ukraine, such as it both being and not being a war. Also, that I'm trying not to apply my experience with them to anyone beyond them who has not explicitly stated their stance(s) *Who hasn't been guilty of this at some point though I do think it's especially sad because I have family on both sides of this conflict, though only the ones in Ukraine are in danger

Sounds like something my wife would love, especially if you replace the Greek yogurt with the thickest sour cream you can find and then top that with some dill
