It's my first time being selected and would otherwise be interested in serving but this week isn't good for me. My dad is coming to town the next day and I haven't seen him in a few years.

I tried to sleep in but I had the most boring dream that I had to wake up out of sheer disinterest. That was a first. Jury duty tomorrow.

It's too hard to classify what a Star Wars fan is and what in the universe is important to them because it's such a huge and varied fanbase. For my part, I loved the original trilogy, hated all but the last prequel, and in the Disney era, I've enjoyed the side stories overall more than the main saga movies. I'm not looking forward to either the Weiss and Benioff or Johnson trilogies but I'll still most likely give them a go and I am looking forward to the Mandalorian and the KOTOR movie if that ever does really happen.

Mostly the stories. She doesn't mind the character and she even likes the Bashir-O'Brien bromance. We also finished Good Omens and enjoyed that quite a bit.

It's sad when O'Brien has a better love life than you PS my wife hates O'Brien episodes in DS9. I think the only one she actually likes is when he jumps forward in time.

Wife wants chicken marbella added to the regular meal rotation which is more of an idea than an actual rotation. Probably would not have considered making it or would have substituted prunes out if it wasn't for Gromnir's pot roast recipe. Ordered some black garlic on Amazon because it's too stinky to make and Safeway stopped carrying it. Supposedly some specialty markets around town might have some but I've no interest in driving out to Aurora.

I find it a silly complaint too but I think injurai has it right. I used to get more frustrated with it but my wife, who is eastern European, pointed out something similar to me when we were watching some random movie or show. I was getting frustrated because some of the actors seemed out of place but she was like they're all wrong as none of the actors were the correct ethnicities and they were all speaking gibberish. It's just where the line is drawn is different for different people. I get frustrated watching war movies or most things involving the military as they usually can't get the most basic things right but most people wouldn't notice or care. But to reiterate my first point, I still think it's a silly complaint.
