I just think that Iraq and Afghanistan provide better insights into a conflict with Iran than a flawed war game does. I don't think anyone doubts that the US would steamroll Iran's military but the big problem is what comes next. Occupation Peacekeeping and nation-building is where we start ****ting the bed.

I've played KOTOR on my phone and it plays well enough if a little janky. I have a Pixel 2 XL if that helps on the screen size I'm working with.

Same problem STD has with the plot driving the characters instead of the other way around. Really sounds like the season needs more episodes but that's something I've been on kick about lately.

Maybe they're just trying to out-Lost Lost. I never watched that show either but I've heard the ending kinda ruined the whole thing for a lot of people. I actually still haven't seen any of season 8 but I don't care so much that I've been reading all the spoilers here. It might be like True Blood for me where I don't even bother with the final season.

I think for me it's more that the quality has just dropped off the continental shelf. If it wasn't so good in the beginning then I wouldn't have had some high expectations. I'm used to book adaptations being bad and this is a book series that I'm not familiar with.

We enjoyed season 4 of Luci but I wish it were longer. I'd actually like more "filler" episodes as this new season was the shortest so far. While a different issue I think STD could also benefit from more episodes as it might help with the pacing issues and their Zach Snyder-esque speed up, slow down character development. Would also help flesh out the rest of the crew. Though bad writing is still bad writing.

My wife's best friend back in Estonia got a year and the father got a month or two. In that case though I think it was their employer who had a more generous policy than the law dictates which I think is closer to 6 months for the mom and 2 weeks for the dad. My only option was unpaid FMLA leave because I had to go into the hole with PTO during the shutdown (company policy) and my wife's is just vacation days because her company is too small for any federal requirements.

Might be worth it just to see how big they think they went. It is an interesting trainwreck just try not to think about it very much, or at all really, if possible.

The episodes are really hit and miss

ARE is just light edutainment. There's a clear bias in most of the episodes but I treat it like Wikipedia as he also cites his sources, usually displayed on screen, and it makes it easier to find more info on a given subject. Of course his gimmick is to ruin whatever the topic is so you know how he's going to come at whatever the subject is.
