Finally all caught up on STD. Even though I still think it doesn't feel like Trek I still liked the episodes until I got to the last two. I don't even know if I want to keep watching now. I'll probably wait until the season is over and see what you guys say here. I can't believe someone wrote them and then someone else approved that crap.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2

Well, I think of it like this. If they make it 3rd person only then they'll lose out on people who refuse to play from that view but if they make it 1st person they will lose out on people who can't play with that view. I've not often heard of people getting sick from 3rd person view but this thread and the TOW boards have people complaining of motion sickness in 1st. Would prefer a toggle but since that doesn't seem to be in the cards then I hope the same thing I hope for with TOW, some good field of view options. -

The reliance on cybernetic limb replacements instead of cloned limbs or something. -
I usually find it's the people who don't have a good grasp of things trying to ban or otherwise limit those things. I've said before that you don't necessarily need to be an expert on something to have a good idea about it but it doesn't hurt and usually stops the worst and most pointless ideas early on.

I spent a good chunk of the day typing up responses to various posts around this place and a few others before deciding it wasn't worth engaging. Other than that I moved some furniture down into the basement and paid some bills. Also, looking into some side jobs as there's so much I want to get for the house but don't have the funds for.

Welcome back -
The only thing I did differently was to add wine instead of water when the liquid got a little lower but I didn't need to add much and mostly did it because I didn't want to have an open bottle of wine around (and going to waste) and was channelling Gerard Depardieu from the Last Holiday. I don't usually like experimenting too much the first time I use a recipe but next time I make it I may be more adventurous but at the same time it came out so great, so...

Yes, it's south of Tucson and maybe a 4 hour drive from Sedona depending on traffic as you'll have to pass through or around the largest two cities in AZ. Slightly closer to Sedona I'd recommend the Petrified Forest National Park (and Painted Desert) and is about 2 hours east and Meteor Crater is on the way. Montezuma Castle National Monument is less than an hour south of Sedona and I can recommend that as well but I haven't been there in probably 2 decades. If you ever do make it down to the Tucson area then I can recommend more as that's where I'm from

^ It's 1,2, and 4 for me as the played the first game entirely in 3rd person but I do also think TN is already probably right about it being on all platforms at launch at a time is also a factor. The timing kind of worked out perfectly with all the Epic shenanigans going on. I'm sure 3 is also a huge factor for a lot of others though. Regarding 2, I've been so starved for a vampire (lowercase as I'm not familiar with uppercase much outside of the previous games) RPGs that I nearly got that Vampyr game but the gameplay and camera were really offputting to me and I'd prefer modern urban fantasy/horror over pretty much anything else for such things. Question to those who are familiar with Vampire, how would we go from being a thinblood to some ultra-powerful vampire? Diablerie? -
I've never actually seen Night of the Lepus but I've been to Colossal Cave about fifty-eleven times and they love to mention all the movies that have filmed there.

I used everything pretty much exactly as you mentioned it but I used both carrots and parsnips and did go with the prunes over the raisins or sugar. Every time I think of prunes I flash back to the TNG episode where Guinan gives Worf prune juice. It's a warrior's drink!

We've finally started watching this past weekend and I'm starting to think this show just isn't for us even though we're huge Trek fans. It doesn't feel like Trek to us and I know that's pretty nebulous but it's kind of hard to put into words why it falls so short of the mark. My wife turned to me and said I think I'd rather rewatch Voyager which is our least favorite Trek show that we've seen to the end. Speaking of Voyager Tuvok (and the characters Tim Russ played on TNG and DS9 whose names I'm ashamed I don't know off the top of my head) was on the Orville. A real WTF moment

You can get silencers and actual assault rifles and even machine guns here in the US but you have to go through the gov't and they are pretty pricey increasing from left to right as I listed them. Not sure if you guys have a different definition of assault rifles but ours is based on firing function and caliber not cosmetic or ease of use features. Now our assault weapons definitions vary by locality and always include cosmetic and ease of use features I'm generally for expanding the SCOTUS though I think it should be in a phased approached so one person/party can't stack the deck. I also think they need to adopt a code of ethics and having more members will allow them to recuse themselves more easily as I've seen that excuse used before as to why they haven't when they probably should have. But that's just like my opinion, man.

My favorite gin drink is something I like to call the Bombay Sapphire and you don't have to use Bombay Sapphire gin either. Gin and a dry ginger ale and just enough blue curacao to make it the same color as the bottle the drink is named after. Sweet without being cloying and as strong as you want to make it. I generally serve it on the rocks.
